๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ This place was unreal. The hike from the parking lot was 10-15mins. The water was warm and had cold spots from the tide coming in from sea. No sand on this beach just pebbles. Bring a beach blanket and wear shoes for the hike. People often mention beach,

Some of the best views! Moderate to difficult hike with lots of stairs, very cool cove.

Beautiful way to spend time in Italy. A relatively cheap fare (15 euro) got each person a guided trip around the island with entry into two of the caves and half an hour beach time in one of the enclaves. The latter makes for great holiday photos, as do the cave entries where you can feed fishes and they will huddle up to the surface in that perfectly clear water. Overall, highly recommended, a shame to miss if in the area. The guide speaks Italian, only Italian, but you can figure things out even without the story and his voice and mannerisms somehow add to the experience. Tickets are purchased on the spot, if the boat is not there at the moment you can wait in the shade or entertain yourself with a drink at the panini bar.

Very nice place, you can take fantastic photos, it's nice to rest from the summer heat. It's not easy to get here, you have to climb the stairs, it's not so easy, but it's worth it, the wonderful view that will open is simply breathtaking from the first view.

This place is a magical paradise. You will not be disappointed. It definitely gets crowded so if you want a good spot I would suggest to get there early and spend the day exploring all the parts of the beach. Parking for the day was 6 Euro. Once you park you have to do a short hike to get to the other side in order to see the beautiful grotta. Took an hour from Cetraro to get here and back home (always traffic because their is only one main road that leads to all the beach towns). Highly recommend!!!!

Spectacular views unlike anything you have ever seen. Great swimming on a pebble beach. This is the beach weโ€™re the Saracens landed after the defeat of Troy. Arco Magna is here. The Grottoโ€™s are here. I can imagine the crowds of Ferragusto.

Cool spot. Wasn't very busy when I went but I'd imagine this can be absurdly packed with people trying to get a photo and boats trying to anchor in the bay.

Very Nice beach! Really worth it! And not only that, the food is sublime! On the private beach you need to rent a Umbrella for 10.- to stay there, Boat is 15.- hour Enough parking space

It was a gorgeous place. Ticket per person was 3โ‚ฌ and half an hour can you spend in the Grotta beach. It used to be free but as social media has made it very popular they started to regulate. You can't take food and sun umbrellas there as you are expected to get in and out fast. Steps are steep, rocks may fall and you better have good shoes to do it.

Must see place when in Calabria. Quite easy access to beach from a parking. But to great arch cave (or Cave if Saracen) you need to take some small mountain path of 1000m (see photos). You can also access it from north but there there is no easy access from parking. The place for parking - Via Giuseppe Garibaldi 40, 87020
