We had a lovely evening at chill out bar. The food was amazing, so the staff. We ordered a fresh fish to be grilled (700g parrot fish for 280k). The fish was so fresh and perfectly grilled, the meat was juicy and not dry. It didn't need any sauce to eat with. The fish came with a baked potato (but you can choose rice, mashed potatoes or fries). You can also choose from a buffet of salads and sauce (a dozen of both. You can refill those as much as you want. It might be a bit expensive but it was one of the best fish I ever had, definitely worth the try if you love eating fish. Great service as well, everyone was nice and professional (they add a 5% service charge to the bill).

This place is great, you choose your own fish and seafood at their counter, you pay by weight. It comes with the salad bar and a choice of potato or rice. It was happy hour and we had cocktails with our dinner, nice atmosphere and attentive service.

We came twice for the fish BBQ. The fish is fresh and well cooked. The price (now in September 2023) is 400k IDR per kg for fish and 500k for seafood. They have a good variety of fishes and a lot of turnover since the place is busy. Included you get unlimited salad bar, many sauces (that look homemade) and accompanying rice or roasted potato (best option for me). The fish is more expensive than other places, but given these extras, and the nice location with tables on the beach, I think it's a reasonable price. The service is excellent, quick and very attentive. Unfortunately other dishes we tried (curry and Greek salad) were more average and not up to the fish BBQ. In the afternoon it's a good place to enjoy the beach. I appreciate that they have not only juices and smoothies but also lassi.

We came here for two full beach days. Sun beds are free as long as you order during your stay. The staff is very nice. Food is tasty and most importantly the beach is perfect for swimming. You can even rent snorkelling equipment next door.

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant during our stay. The food was exceptionally good and always fresh. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. In fact, we loved it so much that we dined here every single night of our stay. It's a must-visit if you're in the area!

Just had a 4 night stay here with my family and it was great. The food they do is excellent, especially the bbqs and enormous breakfasts including great smoothies and freshly baked bread. Just in front of the beach area there is great snorkelling with fantastic coral and sea life. The staff area lovely and helpful - they do the most fantastic birthday surprise song.

Amazing gem to spend time at while staying in Gilis Air. The beach is beautiful and the service from Son and the team was fantastic. We had the pleasure of eating dinner by candlelight on the beach and had an excellent meal from the bbq. We were very lucky to be able to have breakfast here which was such great quality and quantity. Thank you to the Chill out team for making our stay such an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend anyone coming to Gilis Air to find the Chill out bar.

Germán and ALL the staff are great! The restaurant and the bar are amazing too. Do not hesitate and stay there, do the tours to the other islands from there and if you have time spend some days only for relax “you will not regret it”!

A group of 8 of us dined at Chill Out Restaurant. Some ordered fresh seafood that was cooked on the BBQ and had complimentary access to the salad bar. My vegetarian burger was huge and the hand cut chips were delicious. Attentive staff and good service.

We went here last September as we were looking for a spot to sit down by the beach as we didn't have a place to stay yet. The view and beach looked great so we asked for a table. We had our drinks, which included fresh coconut water, of course. The beach and the water were absolutely beautiful and the water was very warm and clean. It felt great having a view of the water and the mountains. We got the mix seafood BBQ which had tiger prawns, tuna, scallop and vegetables with a side of melted butter, bbq potato wrapped in a foil, and some fried bananas and vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was a fantastic day. 👌 Highly recommend.

Had food and drink here while on the island. The BBQ options are really good with unlimited salad. Happy hour has 2 for 1 cocktails which are fairly strong and a large beer for 40,000. Staff are really good. If you need anything they are there and get things done. Always check to see if you need anything. Happy and chatty with everyone. There was a live band on when we went who were really good. Well worth a visit.

Great BBQ and service. All the staff are so nice and helpful. Food was so good we came back the next day for more! We had mixed skewers and some fresh seafood from the bbq all generous servings and delicious. Reassuring to know they wash all their veggies with bottled water too! Salad bar was fresh and tasty. All the staff seem like they’re enjoying their work too Bonus points for cute cats roaming around!

We only visited the bar. The food is quite good and the menu offers different options as traditional dishes and also pasta. Staff is very nice. Umbrellas stands out for their colors and at night from the beach you can see Gili Meno. I recommend this place for breakfast and a romantic dinner close to the sea.

Went for lunch as part of a snorkel tour and we had some birthday to celebrate - it was by far the best birthday song and cake presentation I’ve ever seen. I think every single staff member was involved and they used all sorts of kitchen pans and other items to do percussion. Amazing.

Came here for door and drinks. Twice while we were here. Stunning outlook of the sea. Food was amazing (fish tacos are next level). Great cocktails. And of course, the staff were super attentive and friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We are here twice during our stay based on our host’s recommendation and weren’t disappointed! We had tuna steak from the bbq which was delicious and we enjoyed the salad which accompanied it. I also ate the fish tacos which were delicious! Attentive staff who were always willing to help.

An absolutely beautiful and amazing place. During our stay in Air we were coming there every day. Food is delicious, the staff very friendly. They were addressing us by our names and welcome us like their own family. That’s what u call service. Food is yumm and cheaper than other fancy places on the island. Always fresh and well presented. Have been in Gili Air for 6 days, and spent them all in this beach club. We had not stayed at their hotel, but been everyday on their beach and restaurant. Service and food SuperB ! Extremely nice team which have made our holiday very special. Food was beyond all expectations

We really enjoyed our time away on Gili Air at Chill Out Family Bungalow. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When you stay here, you get a wonderful breakfast every morning, the sunbeds and beach towels are included and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. In addition, one of the best snorkelling spots on the island is right in front of the hotel. A special highlight is certainly the evening BBQ with seating right on the beach. We enjoyed every second here and can highly recommend a stay here, especially as a family.

Amazing! So at First: Ive had lunch here, some different Drinks and dinner. It was all very good. The Waiters are so nice (especially Li 😊), i was there the first day to take a sunbath and drink an Iced tea. They remembered me the second day and asked directly if i want another iced tea. I know that the people on gili air are all very kind and friendly, but they were very interested in the customers. The Drinks were all good, you can drink everything with ice. The fresh fish at the dinner was just amazing, i can recommend the Mixed fish Kebab. It's all very fresh, so don't hesitate to order everything you like :)

If you're ever in Gili Air, Chill Out bar is a nice place to hang out. Not all food items were to my liking (Chinese Food is a definite pass, even the fried rice needed something extra). Has a nice selection of fresh seafood that they will grill on sight. The beach in the front is a good spot for snorkeling though, so its a safe place to put your belongings while on the beach and enjoy some snacks or beers The french fries (more like potato wedges) make a nice snack after snorkeling, and the lemon tea is refreshing.

Hands down the best seafood BBQ we had during our +3 week Bali and surrounds stay. It’s also the best beach to swim at on the island. We also had their Pizza, which we went back a second time for. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I lost my cellphone here, and the staff all helped me search the sand for it. Thank you for helping us find it, and thank you for the amazing service and food.

The restaurant food is magnificent. Loved it. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. Happy to accommodate special requests and good for a joke too. Love the recliner tables right on the beach. Felt very decadent

My partner and I went almost everyday of our trip to Gili Air. Food was great and fresh! Though, it was the staff who really made our stay unforgettable- so lovely and kind! As it was my partner’s birthday, they went above and beyond. Even before they know it was his birthday, the went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special! We can’t wait to go back!! Highly recommend!!!!!

I think the best cafe on that side of Gili air. We came here with 15+ people twice. Fresh fish is good. Overall kebabs are nice. There are some issues with payment (terminal does not work for some cards) and bills (many people they can’t track order and looks like add dish). The design is in chill mode. Possible to go swimming there. We like this place

Nice food with delicious salad bar and freshly cooked bbq. My only issue is that the salad is not covered so open to flies, although there didn’t seem to be any around when we were there. Not hard to cover it with a see-through lid so I think it would be better. Would recommend to a friend regardless though, delicious food.

We ordered a full grilled fish and it was super delicious!! The price was 194,000 (for 2 persons size fish). The service was amazing as well. Sitting directly on the water, relaxed vibes. Very recommended!

By far the best restaurant on the island. We've been many times for lunch and dinner. The views are great and the food is lovely. I've seen some reviews suggesting the food was more in the expensive side but we found them very reasonable with the service you get. Treated like friends. They also remember what you like to drink! Next time we visit gili A, we'll be eating here! 10/10

Had to order a quick dish because we had a boat to catch and the staff did a very good job of taking care of that for us. We wanted fresh fish and they brought out a nice selection and grilled it to a nice taste. The staff was wonderful as was the meal. Worth a visit. The only thing that out a damper on the meal was the super quick and aggressive flies. Wish there was a way to deal with them.

We booked the family room. It's hands down the best place on Gili Air island. Wonderful friendly staff who pamper you from the moment you arrive. Amazing service. Breakfast for kings. We were so full from the hearty breakfast that we skipped lunch. Generous portions and generous hospitality. Herman and his team made our stay memorable. Dinner bbq was abundant with generous salad bar options. Beach on the property was beautiful. We had a relaxing time and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We thank Chill Out for a wonderful vacation. One suggestion I would like to give is perhaps include a small lamp or night light for the rooms as it was quite dark at night in the room. Other than that I would say it was perfect!

Amazing restaurant with super fresh grouper / jumbo prawn / calamari BBQ dinner. The breakfast with banana pancake is also top! The chill out bungalows and restaurant have very attentive, warm, most friendly staff we’ve ever met which makes the total experience super memorable. Highly recommend it! Ps: please leave them good tips which would be a huge encouragement and support to the local staff!!!

We all enjoyed our dinner. They have a BBQ at 6pm and the beef steak was excellent and cooked perfectly (med rare for me). Salad bar was great as well. The staff were all so friendly. We would go back.

This place was amazing. We spent all day on the beach and came back for dinner. They have fresh fish which was cooked perfectly that comes with unlimited salad from the salad bar. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They have wine by the bottle as well which is not that common on the island. We had a lovely evening. Thank you
