Great place. Loved the breakfasts. Great showers and toilet. Suggestions: fix the showers around the pool to encourage people to shower before getting in. I think the pool went a bit gloopy. Our room had plug sockets but they didn't work. Finally, provide water refill. All Great though, loved it

We came to Gili Air for two days - to swim with turtles. Bernada - one of the most beautiful hotels of all that have seen on the island. Shower and toilet are common, there is no air conditioning - but slept great! Very pleased with the price - and it includes an excellent breakfast (omelette or scrambled eggs with toast, pancakes with caramel or an Indonesian breakfast, plus fruit salad and tea or coffee). Were very pleased! There are also bicycles in the hotel - it is very convenient to move around the island!

An amazing zen-place. Lovely bungalows, clean and well maintained bathrooms & a lovely garden to hang out and relax, proper breakfast. Also great flexibility. Lovely warung next door, possible take away. Some points of improvements possible: water service f.e.

Great for sleep and swim, but expect no luxury here + The pool is truly awesome and the staff is really helpful. Great breakfast options. - Zero comfort, no privacy. - They don't sell water refills, you have to get drinking water from a restaurant outside. -There are no chairs/hammock on the balcony, or basically anything comfortable. It's just a simple empty small room. - The wifi is weak in the room. If you want to work, you need to go to the kitchen, but the chairs are really uncomfortable. - Bathroom is shared.

Looks nice and breakfast is good. +for a pool. Rooms are too hot. Little messy with bookings. They gave us for first night double bed and it stayed like this… In double bed only one fan so is super hot. And for god sake put any table or something to put our staff somewhere. Not on the ground. I saw guests picking random chairs from common area to „make” table in bungalows. LOL

Perfect hostel for when you want to explore the island the whole day and come back to rest and relax after. The staff are very friendly and helpful , the whole place has a very chilled vibe especially near the pool. The rooms are very basic and are on the small size but very clean and comfortable with a floor bed, fan and mosquito nets. The communal toilets and washrooms too are kept clean . Highly recommended for budget explorers.

Although the place looks dreamy on pictures and in real life, the swimming pool and bathrooms were dirty. Stayed here for six nights and during that time, I don't think the bathrooms were cleaned properly once, nor was our trash bin emptied (I actually had to remove the trash myself to avoid insects). The last two days I was here, the pool stopped filtering because the water level was too low. When I informed the staff about this (a problem that can easily be fixed) they responded that the pool boy wasn't available for a few days so the pool would not be cleaned. I would suggest to clean the place more often and thorougly. The staff was not very helpful. When my sister was very ill and I needed a doctor, the receptionist said he could not help me with calling one.

Stayed here for quite a few nights. The place just opened, so overall the facilities are really good. Toilets & showers are clean, pool is great and the rooms are small but cosy. Staff is super friendly and helpful (laundry is 25k per kilo, just as much as in town). In addition the hostel is in a central area around some really good restaurants. That being said the hostel does have a few downsides.. The pillows are hard as a rock; the WiFi is mediocre at best; the breakfast is simple/portion size small and lastly they do not offer water refills only sell expensive bottled water. Would recommend this place as we had a really good experience, but take the downsides into account when booking.

Very clean complex. Large pool. Not too crowded. Clean hut, with fan, good bed and klamboe. Clean facilities and hot showers. Short walk from the beach. Recommend!

Good spot if you are on a budget. It has very good shared facilities (pool, chill and work spots). Be prepared for a shared bathroom, a very simple room and neighbours who can hear your every move

You have to stay there! Even for one night. Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect breakfast and perfect pool !!!! It is absolutely a “luxury” cheap place🤯 One problem is that the rooms was without an AC, and it was quite hot in the room. Everything else was amazing.

Really good value/ price. It’s super calm and nice if you like and island vibe and don’t mind rustic facilities. There’s no AC, just a big fan. I personally loved it but depends on what you’re looking for.

Tucked away in the center of Gili Air there's a beautiful eco lodge which resembles that of a small cabin village. The place is beautiful and quite but it's location is a little 10-15 minute walk if you're looking for the beach. Staff were friendly, facilities were humble to reflect the affordable price. Maintenance could be improved around the grounds as the path was somewhat covered with leaves and weeds and some toilets and showers were out of order for our entire stay. Thank you for looking after us!

Very nice place surrounded by trees and nature. Toilets and showers are clean. Room is simple but cosy. Swimming pool is gorgeous. I would just suggest to put a small table and hangers in the room, it’s a cheap thing to do and makes guests life much easier.

A very good hostel. It has everything you need and expect from a hostel. Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, wifi, and a pool. Plus it looks beautiful The price is really cheap for what you get. Very satisfied!

Nice and calm hostel with little hutts you can stay in. There is a chill common area with a pool and power outlets. At night it can get quite hot sometimes and the fan might be not enough.

Amazing experience to be honest, great price! Simple room with bed on the floor and a fan, but that's all that we needed in Gili! Only a little turn-down is when we lost one of our rental bikes INside of the hostel area. Yet the staff didn't seem to be too helpful. We ended up finding the bike ourselves, but all good :)

What an awesome retreat. Great place to stay, very peaceful and calm. Great place to be when looking for a break from the other wild islands. Great breakfast included, clean rooms and washrooms. The bungalows only have beds in them and only offer a fan and no air conditioning; which is fine because it gets a little chilli at night here. We were surprised to find out the washrooms are shared but they maintain them very well and keep them clean. The pool area is a great place to hang out, meet people and take in all the peacefulness. Great price and value. Highly recommended!

I really like the setup here: keep the bungalow small, no chairs, then have a nice pool and chillout area to hang out during the mid-day heat. No private bathroom keeps the costs down and keeps the mosquitos out of your room. Good value, perfect place to stay for a while.

A little oasis in the centre of Gili Air. Yummy breakfast and clean rooms. Reasonably priced - definitely recommend although there is not water to fill up bottles, but nearby places offer free refills
