Absolute
worst
customer
care
of
any
hospital
in
Arusha.
Terrible
waiting
times
(with
or
without
appointment,
doesn't
seem
to
make
a
difference).
Staff
are
not
helpful
or
informative.
Avoid
if
possible!
However,
this
is
the
only
location
in
the
area
to
get
a
CT
Scan
and
MRI.
First,
my
son
was
sent
for
a
CT
scan
due
recurring,
intense
headaches
that
induced
vomiting
and
nosebleeds.
We
waited
6
hours
to
finally
get
into
the
radiology
area,
then
the
nurse
wanted
to
ask
me
about
my
pregnancy
and
how
far
along
I
was
and
how
I
was
feeling
-
after
I
repeatedly
told
him
we
were
here
for
my
SON
and
not
me
(and
I
understood
I
had
to
not
be
in
the
room
because
I
was
pregnant)
and
I
would
like
him
to
get
the
scan
ASAP
because
we
had
already
waited
for
6
hours
and
we
were
both
tired
and
hungry
and
just
wanted
to
leave.
Then,
they
never
called
for
the
results.
I
called
multiple
times,
requesting
the
results
and
didn't
receive
any
answer.
Kept
being
brushed
off,
that
they
would
'look
and
get
back
to
me'.
Finally,
my
husband
went
in
person
and
picked
up
the
results,
although
they
never
did
call
us
as
was
promised.
Secondly,
we
were
referred
by
the
doctor
for
an
MRI
to
find
out
the
issue
with
my
son's
headaches,
to
rule
out
serious
concerns.
The
first
referral
letter
was
missing
a
stamp,
so
we
were
sent
back
the
referring
doctor
to
get
the
stamp.
Then
we
returned
to
NSK
only
to
be
told
ANOTHER
small
detail
was
missing.
Why
not
just
inform
us
of
all
the
missing
items
AT
ONE
TIME
instead
of
driving
back
and
forth
across
town
when
we
don't
have
a
car?
Using
extra
time
and
money,
all
because
the
receptionist
wouldn't
tell
us
everything
required
to
get
this
MRI.
Very
frustrating
and
not
fair
to
customers.
Then,
we
we
finally
did
return
with
all
the
papers,
we
were
told
to
come
back
on
Monday!
Monday!
So
instead
of
seeing
us
on
a
weekend,
for
a
test
that
could
be
very
important
for
a
sick
child,
my
son
has
to
wait
an
additional
2
days
to
get
an
answer?
Although
the
clinic
is
still
open
and
available
to
do
this
test?
Why
on
earth
make
a
potentially
sick
child
continue
to
wait
for
a
diagnosis?
Also,
this
means
I
need
to
take
an
additional
day
off
of
work
in
order
to
take
him
back
to
NSK
for
this
test,
and
he
has
to
miss
another
day
of
school
to
get
this
test
done,
all
because
they
just
didn't
'feel
like'
doing
his
MRI
on
a
Saturday.
Delays,
long
waits,
terrible
customer
service,
poor
communication
and
just
all
around
two
bad
experiences
at
NSK
for
a
sick
child
who
has
been
referred
for
a
potentially
serious
reason.
Zero
Stars.
I
hope
another
medical
facility
can
soon
provide
MRI
and
CT
Scans
in
Arusha
so
that
I
no
other
patients
have
to
be
subjected
to
the
poor
services
of
NSK
Hospital
Arusha,
again.
