We thoroughly enjoyed working with the people at Moorland safaris. They were warm and welcoming and provide excellent services. We loved it so much and would like to return for another excursion. When we do, we will reach out to Them because they are extremely thorough and helpful.

What an experience! Everything was perfect – we have seen all the big 5 multiple times and also some of the small ones. Our Guide Lewis" was the coolest and nicest guy.

We used Moorland Safari and we had a great experience, amazing people with us who we met during our safari trip. We had the best guide John! And enjoyed our last day with Nasr to the Arusha town! Amazing! Great and easy communication with Nasr who always replied quickly to us. Thanks for everything.

I was worried about booking a safari directly with a Tanzania company, but the experience was unique with Moorland safaris. The price for the journey (2 days in a safari - Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater) was very good comparing other offers I saw. Everything was fantastic, and I have to mention our guide (now friend) Ayoub that was magnificent explaining all animals we saw. Absolutely recommendable.

Doing Kilimanjaro with Moorland Safaris was one of best trekking experiences my wife and have shared in a while. Nasir the host and owner helped select and plan for the Marangu route for its medium difficult level terrain but slightly longer route to the summit with an extra day for acclimatization to high altitude. Nasir was there to meet us when we arrived in Tanzania, he is a very charming fellow who helped us check that we had everything that was required for the climb. Early the following morning he introduced us to Frank and Omary- the main guides, gastronomy engineer Priva and other crew members. We really had an incredible time with these guys. They were dedicated to our successful trek and safety at all times. It was unbelievably awesome when we reached the summit on January 25. The experience was much better than we had imagined, standing at the top of Africa with my wife! We thank everybody at Moorland Safaris for the time of our lives.

My mother (65yrs!) And I have just finished our 2 day safari with Moorland Safaris and it was absolutely incredible. It exceeded all of our expectations. Our amazing guide, Jackson, went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience. We saw all the Big 5 and much much more! It was well organized and the accommodation and food was amazing. Even catered for me as a vegetarian. Breathtaking scenery and wildlife encounters. This Safari is a must!!!

We had an incredible time. Nasir was easy to work with. He was very responsive to emails. The safari was a 2 day trip to Tarangire and Ngorongoro and was more than we ever expected. Our driver was very friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable about the parks and wildlife. The tented campsite and lodge were great too and the cost overall seemed very affordable when compared with some of the other companies. Just a very friendly company that did not disappoint. We really had no complaints at all and felt the trip was top-notch from start to finish.

This park is not a prime wildlife destination, but the birding is great and the setting is spectacular. Mountains rise up in several directions and on a clear day, Kilimanjaro can be seen in the distance. Most animals tend to be skittish here, but giraffes are plenty and herds of zebra can often be seen in the distance. Some dry country specials like gerenuk antelope, often seen browsing on its hind legs, and the tiniest of antelopes, the Kirk’s dik-dik are easily spotted.

Mount Meru provides the best active acclimatization before a climb to Mt Kilimanjaro. It's height is 4562 m, feasible to climb and descend in 3-4 days. The view from the top to Mt Kilimanjaro with sunrise above clouds and huge caldera with young volcano under your feet is uncomarable! Also at the foot of Mt Meru you pass through some savanna with wild animals, it's real walking safari, so an armed ranger-escort is a must. Our group climbed successfully Mt Meru and then Mt Kilimanjaro via Unbwe route and Western Breach. Guides, cook and the team of porters worked perfectly

We really wanted a tour operator from Tanzania and not a German travel operator. During our search we found Moorland Safaris and contacted Nasr. We received a very professional response very quickly. The safari was put together completely individually according to our wishes. We asked a lot of questions and always got a professional answer and solution.

We had a truly amazing time with one of the most knowledgeable, attentive, respectful and fun guides--Salvatore! We highly recommend that anyone interested in having a great adventure and successful trek (or safari) to specifically request them. The booking process was smooth and done completely through email. They responded quickly and helped us organize add-on trip to Zanzibar. The trek was rewarding, challenging, and once in a lifetime experience. Highly, highly recommend Moorland safaris

We booked a 5 day safari (tarangire, manyara, serengeti, ngorongoro) with this company on a relatively short notice (less than a week before). It was absolutely no problem and the company contacted us before departure to exchange details about pickup, so we could be picked up directly from our airbnb. Unfortunately they mixed up some times so the driver was one hour early which was inconvenient in the morning. The tour itself was a blast! We went in the low season (rain season) in mai. Our driver and guide for all 5 days was JOSEPH, we can recommend him a lot for such tours! He would answer all of our questions regarding the wildlife and life in tanzania and told us lots of interesting facts about the nature of the parks. Also he didn't stress us at all if we wanted to stay longer and tale pictures, and he also didn't hesitate to join in if we sat together in the evenings, which we appreciated a lot. Overall we had a really enjoyable safari, we saw almost all of the big 5 (leopard was missing sadly, we had two cheetahs tho) and a huge amount of lions, elephants and other big mammals, our guide always knew where to be at the right time so we could see all those animals. Food and accommodations were good to, at first we thought we would be sleeping in tents two times but the company found rooms in lodges so it was only one night in tents, which was still a and comfortable experience, and we also always felt safe during the whole trip. Thank you so much for the tour you provided and thank you Joseph for everything you told us!
