Yeh! I did it. For the times I have been reading and seeing videos on Atal Tunnel, it was one of the best highlights for this tour. Wonderstruck engineering in the lap of the snowy mountain. Surrounding view of mountains is awesome from here. This is the south portal of Atal tunnel. The entire length of the tunnel is 9.02 Kilometer and well maintained. Overall, it is an incredible project and must visit here.

I am really very very very happy to see this tunnel. It's really very good for traveling..The tunnel reduces the travel time and overall distance between Manali and Keylong on the way to Leh. The route, which previously went through Gramphu, was 116 km long and took 5 to 6 hours in good conditions. it's a really really good for traveling to travelers... it is a very long tunnel, well maintained by government. And very safe to commute....😊😊😊😊😊

Atal Tunnel: In Himachal Pradesh, World's longest highway tunnel opened which will reduce the distance between Manali, Leh by 46 km. It is named after the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.  View from Atul tunnel is beautiful but traffic is very heavy because of tourists who stopped there vehicles for pictures.

It is two way tunnel for crossing rohtang pass via short route within 20-22 minutes. Very convenient and time saving route. It is total 9 kilometers long tunnel with proper lighting and road signs. There are emergency exits at every 500 meters for any uncertain emergency situation.

Great experience. Just be mindful of you're travelling by bike. They won't let you cross if there's slight rain or even a little snow fall.

Coming out at North Portal is a feel worth experiencing. Ultimate View. Less Traffic. The tunnel is long and has speed limits.
