Managed
by
ASI,
the
fort
definitely
has
seen
better
days
and
could
use
better
upkeep.
Inside
the
fort,
there
is
lot
of
park
area,
couple
of
fountains
but
has
not
been
maintained
properly
with
grass
having
overgrown
throughout
the
place.
But
for
fort
lovers,
you
can
stroll
around
the
place
and
visit
2
-3
structures
that
are
still
standing.
You
can
spend
about
1
-
1.5
hours
max
at
this
place,
not
more.
The
walls
of
the
fort
still
stand
majestically
overlooking
the
city
and
the
view
of
the
lake
and
siddeshwar
temple
from
the
ramparts
are
worth
a
view.
Was
told
at
the
ticket
counter
that
use
of
DSLR
inside
the
fort
is
prohibited
at
the
time
of
this
writing
in
Sep'22
but
point
and
shoot
cameras
or
mobile
phones
are
allowed.
It
may
change
in
future
but
not
as
of
now.
There
are
amenities
inside
the
fort
but
since
the
fort
is
in
the
heart
of
the
city
you
have
access
to
food/water
as
soon
as
you
exit
the
fort.
The
walk
along
the
paved
path
near
the
fort
called
ganpath
ghat
is
also
something
you
may
want
to
try
if
you
are
visiting
the
fort.
