Shri Markandeya Mahamuni is worshipped by Padmashali community. On the day of ‘Narali Pournima’, ‘Rathotsav’ is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. His devotees, come from different parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra.

A holy temple of lord Sri Markendaya who got blessings from Lord of Lords Shri Mahadeva, temple is very near to lord Siddheshwara temple. Every year on the day of Raksha bandhan, Ratha yatra is hosted by temple administration. Jay Shri Markandeya.
