I
stayed
here
early
June
2022
and
in
general
I
found
my
experience
was
a
good
one
but
there
are
a
few
things
to
point
out.
First,
the
air-conditioning
and
room
power
system
was
unusual.
When
you
get
into
your
room
and
insert
your
room
keycard
the
lights
will
turn
on
but
the
air-condition
takes
a
few
minutes
before
it
kicks
on.
Mind
you,
Barranquilla
has
a
very
hot
climate
and
the
hotel
lobby
doesn't
have
climate
control
either
so
I
would
have
appreciated
a
faster
system.
They
do
not
have
hot
water.
For
me,
this
was
not
an
issue
because
it
was
a
nice
temperature
but
I
did
hear
others
complaining.
The
room
in
general
was
good
and
a
good
size.
I
slept
very
well
except
the
last
night
when
I
noticed
a
small
cockroach
on
the
floor.
The
pool
area
was
very
nice
and
so
was
the
view
from
the
top
floor.
Unfortunately
the
elevator
was
not
working
and
according
to
them
it
was
because
of
a
recent
lightning
strike.
The
restaurant
was
good
enough
but
there
are
much
better
options
elsewhere.
I'm
always
happy
to
at
least
have
an
option
to
eat/drink
at
the
hotel.
The
breakfast
buffet
was
good
(not
fancy)
but
I'm
not
a
huge
morning
eater.
The
staff
was
helpful
at
all
times
and
I
had
no
issues
with
them.
The
immediate
area
around
the
hotel
does
not
have
much
to
offer
for
a
visitor
but
there
is
a
nice
outlet
mall
about
a
10
minute
walk
away.
Even
for
lunch
or
dinner
you
might
want
to
consider
it.
Would
I
stay
here
again?
Maybe.
I
would
prefer
a
better
location
though
but
for
the
price
it
was
a
good
deal!
