Interesting place, with Interesting people. Traditional old school hostel, one of oldest in the city. Very basic

Ich habe mich auf Hostelworld mit dem Datum bei meiner Buchung vertan. 😵‍💫 Daraufhin habe ich das Hostel angeschrieben und man kam mir mitten in der vermeintlichen Buchungszeit entgegen und hat meine Buchung kostenlos storniert. Ein großes Lob für so viel Kulanz. Vielen Dank noch einmal an das Hostel! 👍 Viele Grüße von Christian aus dem kalten Deutschland 🤙 Nun war ich ENDLICH da und es ist ein wunderbar familiärer Ort. Ich wurde sehr freundlich aufgenommen und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und der Hof sowie der Eingang sehr gepflegt. Man hat kaum den Überblick, wer zum Personal und wer zur Familie dort gehört. Das ist aber nicht unangenehm, ganz im Gegenteil, das schafft eine sehr tolle Atmosphäre. Die Badezimmer sind jederzeit absolut sauber und man kann weder an der Lautstärke noch an der Freundlichkeit oder irgendetwas anderem herum meckern. Selbst eine riesige Grillecke im Garten ist vorhanden. Es leben dort zwei Hunde und zwei Katzen, welche aber überhaupt nicht nerven. Ganz im Gegenteil sogar, sie tragen wunderbar zur guten und familiären Stimmung bei. Ich habe die Hunde sehr gemocht und mit ihnen gespielt. Die Katzen habe ich nachts häufig beobachtet. Ich war zur „Vorkarnevalswoche La Guachera“ dort und hatte unheimlich viel Spaß. Natürlich habe ich von den besten Plätzen in der Stadt von den Leuten aus dem Hostel erfahren. Ich hab bei meiner Abfahrt leider vergessen meinen Schlüssel wieder abzugeben. Es war mitten in der Nacht als mich der Besitzer heraus gelassen hat und wir waren zu müde um daran zu denken. Ich hoffe er nimmt es mir nicht übel 😉 Ich würde dort jederzeit wieder hinfahren‼️ Liebe Grüße

Great pizza. But other couple with us order an antipasto. Waitress forgot to put in order. So they waiting 1/2 hour before they finally got it. However the owner came over to apologize and gave them a free dessert. I would go back. Loved the pizza and salad.

Loved this hostel. This will be my designated place to stay every time I visit Barranquilla

Great people and friendly staff. Cozy hostel with a homey vibe and they have the fastest wifi I've seen in Colombia.

No air conditioning, so keep that in mind as Colombia is hot! Very friendly staff who speak English (which was helpful for me!). There is a great courtyard and adorable dogs in the hostel. In a quiet, safe area.

Stayed here for Carnaval, so so glad I chose this hostel! The owner was so incredibly welcoming, and full of information about the town and travel to nearby cities. Great community area, everyone staying there was friends by the time I left. Not the most amenities, but makes up for it in charm.

Great hostel, safe location, helpful owners, a beautiful and excellent backyard with a mango tree to chill under during the day. They also have a cute dog called Jlo, so beware if you have allergies.

Make sure to get the air conditioned room if you'll be visiting during the humid season if you're not used to that weather. The cooler shower water is actually fitting in this freakishly hot environment where you'll be sweating so much each day your clothing will become a second skin! The WiFi is good. There is a hammock and pleasent courtyard in the back. A kitchen and friendly cats and dogs around (just be sure to wash your hands after handling for safety). A ps4 and GTA V asking other games is in the lobby with 2 couches and there is a great pizza place basically inside the hostel! Full pizzas for $4 USD (paid in Colombian pesos cash) cannot be beat! Staff is friendly and knowledge as are guests. The lockers fit valuables and you can leave you bad with clothes at your bed. Each night you fall asleep to great Colombian music next door and the location is about 30 minutes from the airport and 10 from the bus station, for $10 and $3 USD respectively. Or 30.000 and 9.000 cop (Columbian pesos).

The hostel is really excellent the owners and staff are very nice and helpful in everything. And there is a really tasty pizza next to the hostel !.

Great place to stay for carnaval. Good for solo travelers.

It was awesome. That was the second time eat there and it was better than the last time. It keeps growing in space and in taste. I love it. Highly recommended.
