No soap. Rarely toilet paper. People can open the toilet door when it's locked. Very noisy. Staff and others watch TV at high volume until late. Full of children running around. *No backpackers if you're looking for that type of hostel* I was robbed 2 blocks from the hostal by a man with a gun and they offered no help and just sent me out in the evening looking for non existent internet cafes. Staff are rude and hard to find when you need them. An old lady shouted at me for knocking on the staff room door. Internet is unreliable and was out for half the day I was meant to check out so i had no internet and had to stay. They cut the power to the rooms air-conditioner during the hottest hours of the day and the rooms have no fans or windows (good luck napping in your sweat). The only plus is it's cheap.

Do whatever you do don’t stay here. Staff is rude, unhelpful and honestly feel they were looking at my belongings even when I had a private room. Watch after yourself and avoid this place. I was fooled by the current reviews I wish someone warned me before 😭

No backpacking vibe, seems to cater to manly discount Columbian travelers looking to save money while traveling, lots of insects, no soap to be found, loud staff.

Nice quiet hostel, located in a safe upscale neighborhood. The owners are very nice and helpful. Wifi works really well, rooms have great airconditioning. My only complaint is that it's not very close to anything of importance - museums, airport, bus station, etc.

Accessible and convenient place during carnival. But dont expect to sleep much (loud bar right next door) or bring earplugs. But then again, its carnaval, so anywhere you go you wont sleep much.

Excellent for shorter stay. Great customer and friendly services. Next we will book there. Excellent and quite neighborhood.

Awesome place. Cheap, good location, laundry, pool parking, fast wifi, kitchen. Woukd definitely recommend!

Stay away, I had the misfortune of staying here and as everyone else has said. It’s not a hostal just a basic hotel and the owners are exceptionally rude. The neighborhood is ok… for what the city is like. Save yourself the time and money and find a nice civilized place to stay. You will enjoy Barranquilla much better if you have a nice place to relax at the end of the day.
