The only reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hotel does not prioritize its guests for the beach seating area under the umbrellas. They must have a separate business for that. As guests of the hotel we felt undervalued being asked to rush because our spot was reserved by someone else not staying at the hotel. Barranquilla is incredibly humid and you definitely want to enjoy space in the shade if you visit the beach. They need to prioritize hotel guests on the beach.
