Plantation Island Resort Review I recently stayed at Plantation Island Resort and had a great overall experience. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. Customer Service: While the staff were polite and always smiling, the service felt more like a requirement than genuine hospitality. As a local, I expected the same warm and high-level service that overseas guests receive, but it didn’t quite feel that way. Food & Drinks: The food was excellent, and the coffee was absolutely to die for—consistently high quality and never disappointing. This was definitely a highlight of my stay. Activities: The resort offers plenty of activities for families, which I really enjoyed. There was always something fun to do, and it’s a great place to create memories with kids. Rooms: The rooms were standard but clean, cool, and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. Pricing: The overall cost of the resort was reasonable. However, the Malolo Cat boat transfer prices between Nadi and Plantation Island were quite expensive, though I understand it’s structured to encourage guests to stay at the resort. Beach & Swimming: I was aware of the sea lice issue from the resort’s brochure, but the experience was still unpleasant. My arms were itchy and painful, which took away from the enjoyment of swimming. Management: Rodney, the General Manager, stood out as being warm, friendly, and accommodating. He was willing to arrange additional activities I was interested in, which I really appreciated. Final Thoughts: Despite a few minor issues, I had a great stay and would definitely return with my family. The combination of good food, fun activities, and comfortable accommodations makes Plantation Island Resort a solid choice. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing island getaway.

Plantation Island resort is amazing. The people are really friendly, the facilities are outstanding. We had our 20th Wedding anniversary vow renewal ceremony here and everything was catered too right down to the last detail. This would have to be the very best vacation we have ever been on.

We had a week here with our friends and family for our wedding and it was nothing short of perfect - even the weather! We absolutely loved the staff - from the beginning they were warm, friendly, and a true pleasure to work with. They were always accommodating and the entire wedding process was stress free and so enjoyable. The resort itself is great, so many activities and the friendliest staff 🙂

Always enjoyable. The staff are so friendly, it’s a lovely location and it’s generally affordable. On the slightly negative - some eateries standards have dropped over the last year or so and the wine is limited and overpriced. The new inclusion of the Poke Bowl is awesome!! Fresh raw and healthy and plans for the future sound very exciting. A great place to go especially for families!
