Such a lovely meal here it was my Birthday meal with the family- really good choice of starters + mains. We had the Cheese garlic bread + Chicken wings- gorgeous 👍I had the Steak which was beautiful 👌Hubby + Daughter had Margarita Pizza. Everyone really enjoyed their meal + staff were really friendly + attentive-I had a lovely night + Birthday!

Really good choice of food, particularly for a lunchtime menu. We ordered 4 different mains. All freshly cooked. Well cooked and very tasty. Waiting staff very friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere added to an enjoyable experience.

A friendly pub with good real ales. A pleasant if ordinary wine list and very good, reasonably priced, tasty, well presented foodstuffs from Chef Anton, owner. Service was cheerful if a little haphazard, but all was well in the end. Recommended.

Stopped in for dinner as i was staying up the road. Comfortable friendly good beers and a good menu of interesting well presented tasty food. A pleasant evening with great service. Will visit again.

For me only 2 stars, based on the outside as we were in the garden, the garden unfortunately covered in cigarette butts and smelt of stale smoke, food plates left out on few tables. Drunks were nice but unfortunately not for us. Inside maybe great but we have dogs so first impressions for us. May try again another day.

We popped in for a bite to eat yesterday after attempting to get food at a couple of other places. It was certainly meant to be as we wanted somewhere with tasty food, a nice ambience and good service. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff that was attentive and efficient. The pace of the service was just right. The food was delicious. I highly recommend trying the jerk chicken burger. My friends said their meals were also good. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be coming back.

This country pub has everything you want from a pub. Fantastic varied menu and very well priced, great service and cute wooden huts to sit in in the large beer garden. The jerk burger had a super tasty pretzel bun and the two wedges of brie made it 10/10. The chicken was tender and juicy, the chunky chips were perfectly crispy and the slaw was extra creamy. 100% recommend- cannot wait to go back to try some bao buns!

One of our favourite places to eat. The staff are amazing, friendly and cannot do enough to make your meal perfect. Fantastic homemade food. Never had a bad meal here.

Lovely food but spoiled with how busy restaurant and table right by the door. We were a group of 8 but the table was right by door and greeting desk so as people que and prop door open we had full blast of cold air. We booked for Sunday lunch only to be told just two left. Two of the group requested non alcoholic lager, told only one left then advised non left? As I say lovely food but table not location not good.

Celebrated our Diamond Aniversary with a family party of 20 people . Everyone said the food was excellent and the staff were absolutely lovely. It couldn't have been any better. We will most certainly have any future family celebrations there.

Very nice pub / resteraunt popped in for dinner both of us had fish and chips. Place soon filled up so probably a good idea to book a table. Nice atmosphere very Christmassy. Planning on going back for evening meal. Very good menu.

Beautiful pub with gorgeous food. Arrived without booking and the waiters offered us a table on the decking located in a ‘pod’. Lovely little seating area. Staff were regularly checking that we were ok and well supplied with drinks. I will be recommending this pub to friends and family.

At the completion of a walk with a friend we decided to reward our efforts by having a drink at this pub. This was my first visit and I found the staff to be friendly and was quite happy to discuss the various beers that they have on tap. I part enjoyed my pint of 'Pluck it" beer Will certainly be making a return visit.

Dropped in on the off chance they could accommodate 3 for Sunday lunch. Friendly welcome from staff. Nice atmosphere. Appeared clean and modern. Lovely food that was fresh and well cooked. Happily accommodate my request for Gluten Free options as I'm a Ceoliac without compromising on variety or taste. Will definitely be returning again and recommending to friends and family.

Had an excellent roast beef dinner and the cherry bakewell and custard for pudding was delicious. We were served by a lovely young lady who was very attentive to our needs. Would recommend to anyone.

Booked a friends reunion for 20 adults here and had excellent communication from my first enquiry to arrival and all during our visit. Great service, excellent food. A three course meal for most of us delivered as everyone had ordered with no mistakes or complaints from anyone in our group. Totally recommend you visit soon. Thanks to Anton and team

Excellent....Christmas Day lunch was delicious, served by the very friendly, knowledgeable staff. We would happily book for next year....but we will certainly be back before then.

Met up with family and friends for lunch served excellent meals good service generous portions I had my favourite sweet an apple pie with custard it was lovely to have a proper apple pie without being spoilt with caramel toppings that most restaurants offer. I am certainly looking forward to my next visit

Most of the food was good. Most of the staff were lovely. The one thing as far the staff are concerned, the kitchen staff were using strong language. This is not nice to listen to. This is not Gordon Ramsay's kitchen.

Great service and first class food.quality food at a reasonable price. Large portions so make sure you are hungry on arrival. Will be going again.

Very clean room nice bathroom but no where to hang towels. Food was good too but a separate dining room would be better if you have children. Bit noisy at night with the disco noise from pub and the herd of elephants in the room above!

Stopped in here for a pint last night on a whim and ended up staying all evening as we really liked it. Very nice pub, the staff were all fantastic, the beer was good and the regulars were friendly. Planning to go back there for a meal as the food looked lovely.

Had a lovely pork roast, pork a little cold but cooked beautifully. Been here a few times food always good, staff always lovely
