I thought it would be more craft beer focused, but it's a bit middle of the road for my tastes with a huge focus on gin/cocktails. Would have been nice to see some more great local ales and craft beers but it doesn't seem to be the market they're aiming for. Nothing you wouldn't find in a Wetherspoon's, just more expensive.

The atmosphere here is nice, the staff are extremely friendly and even the owners visit here and are very nice people. My sister and her partner visit here every Thursday and maybe another day in their spare time. Everybody appears to be very accommodating and the most important thing is that nobody has an attitude. From the regulars to new customers, everyone is nice...

It's not very big inside so you have to book a table but well worth a visit, 2 for 1 cocktails on certain nights and the milk stout was very nice indeed. Good prices and a great night!!

Brilliant micro pub. Always have four well kept real ales with a variety of craft beers, lager and Guinness. For the ladies they have a great selection of gins and cocktails. Great staff too. Really happy to recommend this pub, although selfishly would like it be a well kept secret, as they deserve the recognition.

Great pub, really helpful staff. Locals all friendly and a great supply or real ales, cask ales, cocktails (2 for 1) and of course gins and great selection of wines. Poo in, you won't be disappointed

A cool micropub in Shirley. Worth popping in for a visit if you're nearby. Plenty of local street parking, and not too long a walk to and from Shirley high street (Stratford Rd), where there are more pubs and good bus connections.

In Shirley for a couple of days. Nearly went to another pub but then saw the reviews for the Ale Hub. I made the right choice. Proper little micro brewery. Will pop by again.

Great place for cask ale (4) as well as a modest selection of craft beers. Only some rolls for eat but then again this is a beer place. Ladies told me there was a good selection of gin. Bingo night…not my thing at all…was actually a lot of fun. reasonable prices. Thank you

Our first time in tonight. I expect we'll go back. The atmosphere was friendly and there's a few decent beers on tap.

Remember buying Fizz Bombs and Blackjacks here when it was the NSS. How times have changed... Bigger than it looks on the outside and a decent gin list. Some fixed pumps so ale fans (I'm not one) might quibble but otherwise, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere.

Convivial company. Convenient watering hole after a haircut nearby. Unfortunate they crossed over the lager and cider pipes but won't stop me visiting again.

Great ale choice and good snacks, ham and cheese sandwich, pork pie and scotch egg.

Brilliant venue for a night out! So warm, welcoming and friendly. We had our Christmas party night there, around 45/50 of us and the 2 lads running it that night were faultless. They did a fantastic job of serving everyone quickly, joining in the banter and clearing up after us (sorry!) Regular and themed nights - next were coming for the quiz or bingo! Thank you for a memorable evening.

Nice little ale house pub with some good offerings. They can't do a bar tab though.
