It was an interesting place - located in the woods, several beautiful wild birds in there. The presentation was really interesting - our guide told us about the wild falconry birds, demonstrated 2 birds and even let us made photos with them. This man looks really obsessed with his work, and you can see it from his way of explaining things. 2 things were strange to me: - all birds were tied by their legs, and most of them were placed into rather small wooden rooms (I hope it was for a reason, as this center is about to recover wild birds and let them go into the woods) - our guide constantly made sexual innuendos to me (like, called me 'darling', suggested me to find a boyfriend and asked me, whom do I prefer - males or females. It was all kind of jokes and was in the context of his presentation about birds, but I felt really uncomfortable anyway). I hope the center will correct the presentation to be more respectful and less familiar, especially for lonely women.

Very peaceful and friendly place. It's a small, but very nice falconry and owl center. You can have a walk for yourself and see the birds or you can also get a guide with you. The 2 guides are amazingly friendly and funny. The guide costs 50kn per person and it's definitely worth it! There is also a bar where you can have a drink and toilet. You can also get on the picture with the birds and feed them little chickens. You can easily spend a good 2-3 hours here. So I recommend it for sure!

In the hinterland of Šibenik, in Dubrava, there is an interesting destination, the Sokolarski centar. A very nice place to relax and at the same time learn something about optics, primarily owls, falcons, and hawks. Friendly staff who are always ready to provide information about everything you need about these interested in birds makes the moments of the visit even more beautiful and pleasant. Therefore, if you are in Šibenik, do not miss visiting this destination and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

It's easy to fall in love with this place. Entire center is beautifully decorated with lovely smell of pine trees. But there is more to it. Every hour there is presentation about owls and falcons and you can even try hold the falcon during the presentation. Our host was very friendly and very interesting to listen to.

Best thing we did during our week in Croatia. Family with kids age 8, 12, 17, 20 and 2 adults. Low price and the show is amazing. We learned a lot and at the same time was able to study the owls and falcons up close.

The man running this center has remarkable knowledge about birds of prey and other birds. He showed us a beautiful Great Horned owl and a Harris Hawk. He gave s demo of the hawk landing on someone's arm to get a male baby chicken ( it was not alive). Thec bird landed without even disturbing the person holding the baby chicken.

Awesome presentation and staff. There is a small caffe there where you can rest up. And most of all, birds are magnificent. Great overall experience. P.S. If you want to contribute more than the price of your ticket ( which is cheap considering what you get out of the experience ), you are welcome to do so. They are solely dependent on visitors for maintenance and care for the animals.

I see many good reviews and understand generous idea behind this place, but my experience was bad. I checked opening hours at the website, arrived on time after 1,5h in a car. On site lady just said there will be no presentation today. That's it, I just lost my time. That's good they care about birds, but they don't really care about tourists.

What a cool place. We loved to see the birds from such a near perspective. The very interesting explanations were presented in a funny way. Definitely 5 stars!!!

Great and educational place for kids, beautiful nature, and all the profits go for the bird hospital in the center.

A very nice and instructive experience. Along with a lot of interesting facts about owls and falcons, there were also a lot of jokes, so it was interesting for our daughters (ages 6 and 9) and us adults. Congratulations on your effort and enthusiasm. I definitely recommend visiting.

Very knowledgeable and engaging guide.A lot of myths broken. Noble cause of wildlife (esp. birds of prey) preservation. Unfortunately no flight demo.

Very nice place to learn new things about owls, eagles and falcons. We'll definitely come back next time. Make sure you visit this place only on Friday or weekends otherwise it' s reserved for school groups. At least that was the schedule in April.

Amazing place to spend your free time while in the area of Šibenik. Interesting and enthusiastic people will have presentations (usually every one hour) introducing birds and fun facts about it to you. You'll have opportunity to see owl and falcon among other spicies.

An amazing centre that vas very nicely decorated. We visited mid October and had an opportunity to investigate around the premises for ourselves for a little bit, then we had a presentation of the birds. The presenter is really fun, nice and humoristic - of course, he knows a lot as well. We learned pretty cool fun facts and loved the experience all together! The only remark we had - the person we talked on the phone was a bit rude. Still, we forgot all about it soon as we came!

Falconry center is home of saved and injured birds of Croatia. Beautiful experience and educational. Staff is so nice and great. Highly reccomend

Fantastic place, must see if you are in Šibenik. Friendly hosts and very interesting stories about hawks and big ear owls. They demonstrate feeding and you can feed and pet birds. I was thrilled.

Very educational and interesting, and funny. They show you birds and teach you about them. You can ask questions and give the birds food.By visiting you also support their work. They take care of hurt birds etc. Highly recommended. We had a great time. You can buy coffee and softdrinks.

For the passion and there work for the birds they already deserve 5 stars. A good presentation about the birds, and a must if you are in the neighbourhood.

Excelent place to visit. People are kind and take great care for the birds. Visit included an hour long presentation with a photo oportunity with an owl and a falcon. Really worth a visit!

One of the most amazing places I've been in years. Place is situated in nice forest, sight is beautiful, birds are even better and staff is really nice. I highly recommend you to visit this site. Center also offers a short "story" about owls which is indeed interesting and educational so don't forget to stay for that as well. Entrance is 50 KN but it's somewhat optional since you pay after the visit (aka if you are unhappy with service you can just leave at any time, that ticket is more of a donation).

An absolute must for parents with children of all ages, and anyone who finds birds of pray fascinating. Recommend!!

Instructive, fun and suitable for children. We learned a lot about birds. Ambience pleasant, gentle forest, perfectly arranged and maintained, bar and other facilities perfectly blended into the environment. We got a lot more than expected and were pleasantly surprised.
