Such a lovely place! Free entrance with the tickets from Klis Fortress. We had a tour around the property, there is a modern olive oil museum and shop with lots of local products (some quite expensive, but you can try almost everything before you decide). Food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious (especially the cake ;) ), one of the lowest prices we experienced in Croatia and the staff was beyond helpful. Overall a great experience, highly recommend!

We had a nice yummy lunch at their in-house restaurant after a tour. This is a "risky" place to us.. especially with all the anti-ageing products.. 🤩 we couldn't help buying.. ended with a €250 bill 🤭😅

Stella is a hidden gem in the mountains of Croatia. You enter into an expansive garden that supplies their essential oils produced on property. All of their products are hand packaged locally and will not disappoint.

We first visited the Fortress Klis and the entrance to Stella Croatica was included in the ticket so we did a break there. It was very lovely and the staff of this family owned business was so warm hearted and friendly. Especially the wonderful garden of the tavern and the amazing drinks and food are recommendable, where many of the ingredients were grown and harvested in their botanical garden. Also the little tour of the olive museum was nice and the products from the shop are the icing on the cake! Don't miss out on a great experience!

A nice place with some interesting things about oil olive production. The major section of the cluster is the shop that you can taste and buy local products. The entrance is free if you have visited the Klis fortress before. The last tour is at 15:15 and unfortunately during winter there are doing only scheduled tours for groups. But the shop is opened if you wish to buy something.

What a great stop. It’s a great tour of locally made goods, and how they are made. Many of the things are made and packaged on sight. They have a great gift shop to buy locally made goods, and they also have a place to get a snack. If you like to see and buy local, don’t miss this stop! Our tour guide Pina was great! She knows the area and speaks many languages! Amazing!

Other than an informative tour on history of olive oil, it’s production and it’s benefits, we got to buy some cosmetics and essential oils all made by this private farm. We also took our dinner there which consists of pumpkin soup, sou vide pork and cakes for dessert. Ambience is that of a rustic country manor out house. They also gave us free rakijia shots.

A true 5/5 experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place if you are in Split or nearby. Visited Kliss castle and a visit to the factory/garden was included in the price (well played ;) guys). Its 5min drive from the castle (work on your signage, missed it the first time). A 10 min wait for the group to form was acceptable and there was water and a nice toilet in the waiting area. The tour was brief but informative, manufacturing was not in operation, as it was Saturday. Quick walk through the gardens and olive oil museum, modern one, with informative explanations about oil, medicinal plants and a knowledgable guide that answered quite a few of my questions. Exit through the gift shop, where you can taste most of the stuff you can buy. Spent ~50e there, #noregrets, as the goods are tasty and well packaged to pass as nice gifts. To end the experience we took a dinner menu (2 different ones) at their local restaurant (glass of wine included). Bread + olive oil ofc. 5/5 great. Pumpkin soup 4/5 ok, not exceptional Olive/curd spread with toast 5/5 Slowcooked beef slices with sauce 3/5, beef on the bland side and sauce i’d say a bit too simple (work on this guys ;)) Gnocci carbonara (is what i called it) was 4/5, good, not exceptional. Very decent wine (red and white, both) Loved the cake 5/5 Ice cream was 4/5 ok. Overall i would say this is definitely worth a trip from Split for sure. I recommend this place to you, as i will recommend it to my friends.

Very nice little place! We were unfortunately to early, the restaurant opens around noon, since we were hoping to get a tast of all the fresh and handmade products. Nice little tour around the premises, learned a bit about olive oil and you will spend to much money at the store. But its money well spend! Loving the products! I’ve been using the lavender oil on my pillow every day and it helps me calm and get to sleep.

An unexpected treat. Our ticket to “Klis Fortress” also included entry to Stella Croatica. We did the 20 mins tour on the history of olive oil (more interesting than you think) followed by a nice lunch at their taverna and a visit to the shop.

The tour of Stella Croatica was informative and entertaining thanks to our guide called Tin. We toured the factory where they make some of the goods they sell in the shop, the botanical garden (briefly because it was really hot) and the museum, before heading to the shop. In the shop you can try the products (cosmetics, food etc) before purchasing. We found some of their products in Split airport too, and I recall the oil being competitively priced. We then ate at the tavern, which is a MUST! The food was great as well as the service (the latter is thanks to Bepo). The food is made using produce on the land. You are free to tour the grounds yourself again.

Wonderful tour, very friendly people and language mastery with informative explanations. Naturally a company store, gerät selection but little pressure to buy. Tour is followed by ‘free time’ through all the tour points. I never knew olives were so interesting!

Great place to get a tour of 20 minutes and close off with buying some great olive oils or other fine products. The visit of the nearby castle is for free if you pay the entrance.

Love this place. Visited during a cruise excursion and had a wonderful charcuterie lunch with wine and learned about how to properly harvest and extract Olive Oil. Wonderful store to shop in at the end of the tour.

Worth the trip!! Amazing olive oils, creams, salts. Gardens are beautiful to stroll thru. You won’t regret.

Great tour round the olive museum and amazing to try all the products at thr end of the tour. The tour guide was very friendly and informative and we learnt a lot about the production and use of different types of products. Highly recommended!

We got in there with same day Klis fortress ticket. There are guided tours in english. We saw the olive museum and also the manifacturing. They have a little botanical garden there, a shop where you can taste and buy their amazing products. They also have very good restaurant with traditonal food with interesting three course menu options. Really liked it.

Stella Croatia, or as we found it signposted 'Olive Oil Museum', is a fabulous place to visit and, if you ever eat olive oil, it is a treat to learn about the process and history of high class olive oil production. There is an olive oil master class and tasting which costs a further €8.00 per person but that is a small price to pay for the first hand insight into what makes a great olive oil. Much like a wine tasting you are encouraged to describe the smells and tastes and recognise the different qualities of olive oil. Unsurprisingly there is a gift shop BUT it is a shop with a difference as you can taste 90% of their food products and try their cosmetics before you buy. It is also important to note that everything in this shop is produced by themselves. The taverner is a peaceful oasis to stop for a bite to eat and something cool to drink (when we visited it was 31°c and very humid so a cool drink was a must). It only has a small menu and as we were warned 'if you want hotdogs, burgers and coke, this is not the place for you'. The food was fresh, tasty and made using local produce and it was definitely not overpriced. If you have time and if you have transport then it is definitely worth a visit. If you like olive oil you will not be disappointed!

This place was absolutely beautiful! There were botanical gardens, a museum, a restaurant, and a wonderful shop to by nature honey, olive oil, lotions, and candies.

If you are interested in olive, olive oil, or just looking for an interesting place to visit in Split, then you must come here,, A true family friendly place,, Reasonable lower price if you bought the ticket that includes their tour and fortress klis entrance fees,, They have a guided tour every 30 minutes, so plan accordingly,, There is the factory “the main tour”, the outside garden and their shop (where you could buy some good gifts),,

Great experience, loved the Olive oil tasting and the treats, our host was so sweet and very helpful. The Olive museum is also very interesting, we did this since it's included with the Klis Fortress ticket and we didn't regret the detour

We’ve found Stella Croatica by coincidence. The tour trough the garden and little museum was perfectly managed. And all homemade products were so good, that we ended up spending over 150€. We wanted to end that lovely trip in the restaurant, but we were send away by a quite unfriendly servant, telling us that we can’t sit there and have to leave as a group of people will come in 15-30 minutes. It’s strange to first invite people to end their tour in the restaurant, but then send them away…

Got the complimentary entrance ticket when we visited Klis fortress. Went with lukewarm feeling thinking it might be a tourist trap, but turned out to be a great experience. Had a great tour of the olive making process, toured the garden, had alot of food tasting. Great place to chill and hide from the sun in the afternoon. Had lunch at tavern, there are only set courses that range from 150-190kn, 3 course + wine, smaller serving size but reasonable for price and ambience!

It was a splendid experience! We first got a tour of the estate, about how all the olive oil gets made etc, and then we had a delicious lunch menu with local products. The lunch took place in an authentic Dalmation village which added to the experience! At the end, in the shop, you can buy all their beautiful products! A must see!

Admission was included with our Klis Fortress admission. My husband and I decided to take the walk from Klis to the farm. While the walk was right along the highway and a bit dangerous, we would do it again if we had to. This family-owned modern Dalmatian Farm has so much to offer. Upon arrival, staff is helpful and eager to welcoming you. Tours occur often and in small groups, however we (hadn’t not eaten breakfast) were extremely hungry and asked to start our tour in the restaurant (: So, let’s start with the restaurant. Most of the ingredients used in the kitchen come directly from their farm. Everything is picked fresh and used accordingly. Pasko, our waiter, was extremely kind and made some classic wonderful recommendations from the menu. My husband and I opted for the classic meat course: bread and (of course) premium olive oil. Pumpkin/squash soup. Mixed greens with vinaigrette. The meat was tender and packed with flavor from the fig sauce. It was different from our usual meals but just as delightful. Dessert was a lavender infused cake which was heaven in your mouth. Next up: we started the tour of the land. Shows us the garden, process of how they make their soaps, and then the iconic olive oil museum. Don’t be fooled, this museum is one of the most interesting museums you can find. Inside, the guide will walk you through the history of the olive & the process of making olive oil. Our favorite part was learning the difference between premium olive oil and “lamp” oil. Buying Olive oil has not been the same for us ever since. Finally, you go through their shop where you can buy all the products they make ranging from olive oil face creams/soaps to different truffle candies, and even given the chance to buy their olive oil. Bonus: you can try the oil/candies as you walk through the store. At the end of our visit, we bought some face creams & a bottle of olive oil. (Unfortunately the airline lost our bags so we can’t speak on the behalf of the products.) All in all, Stella Croatica is a beautiful hidden gem away from the touristy downtown. We visited on July 6th during lunch time and had the place basically to ourselves. I highly recommend making your way to Stella Croatica. (IG: @_destinationparadise)

We were offered a ticket to visit this park when we purchased the admission to the Klis Castle. We visit this family enterprise and enjoyed everything we saw. Stella Croatica is a good example of a traditional, but modern, dalmatian farm. The industry produces great olive oils, almonds, figs, honey, and lavanda and immortelle essencial oils. The branding is beautiful and the traditional restaurant a good value for money.

So aweome! When I went here I was no expecting much of it, but honestly, it was awesome!! We got a private tour trough the whole thing and we could try food for free!! We bought a lot of stuff in the shop and also went to eat in their restaurant. The waiter was really really nice as well. The whole location and the people here are so wholesome!! Big recommend!

The road from the Kils fortress to Stella Croatica was not 20 mins as advertised. The road was very uncomfortable for the people going by foot, so I wouldn't recommend going there without a car. The buildings were smaller than I expected. I felt it's one of the good marketing methods to lead people to buy some products. Lastly, check whether a restaurant or cafe is opened there, because it's not always open. Tour was quite interesting even though it was short.
