Great
service
upfront,
but
not
so
much
once
you’ve
paid!
To
be
fair,
when
we
booked
for
the
wrong
date,
Zen
Travel
corrected
the
booking
at
no
additional
charge.
However,
on
the
day,
we
did
not
get
the
tour
that
we
paid
for.
We
booked
for
the
Blue
Cave
and
Five
Islands
tour,
for
3
August
2023.
On
the
day,
weather
conditions
made
it
impossible
to
visit
the
Blue
Cave.
According
to
Zen
Travel’s
T&Cs,
we
should
have
been
notified
at
least
a
day
in
advance
and
given
the
option
of
a
refund
of
the
deposit
or
to
reschedule.
Instead,
we
were
told
that
the
Blue
Cave
was
closed
only
after
we
had
paid
the
full
price
(which
includes
the
cost
of
the
Blue
Cave
tickets)
and
were
already
on
the
boat.
None
of
the
options
mentioned
on
the
company’s
website
as
an
alternative
to
the
Blue
Cave
(sunken
ships,
a
WWII
bomber
plane
and
Mamma
Mia
locations
on
Vis
island,
and
a
monk
seal
cave)
were
included
in
our
tour.
Furthermore,
the
itinerary
differed
considerably
from
the
rest
of
Five
Islands
description.
We
made
only
four
stops
and
instead
of
seeing
the
various
natural
landscapes
of
the
advertised
itinerary
(which
is
why
we
booked
that
particular
tour),
we
spent
well
over
half
of
the
land-based
time
in
island
towns
(one
of
which
was
entirely
lacking
in
interest).
When
we
contacted
Zen
Travel
to
request
a
refund
of
the
cost
of
the
Blue
Cave
(which
was
part
of
the
price
that
we
paid,
but
not
then
disbursed
for
Blue
Cave
tickets),
they
simply
ignored
our
emails.
Clearly,
once
you’ve
paid
up,
this
company
will
take
you
on
a
tour
that
suits
them
and
is
happy
to
pocket
funds
intended
for
Blue
Cave
entrance
fees
at
tourists’
expense.
