I wish I had taken note of previous reviews here and warnings in cancer group on Facebook. Then maybe I wouldn't have been so disappointed and felt so completely at the mercy of all my severe side effects and sadness after chemo and radiation. When I told the GP and staff at St.Göran oncology about how I had been treated and that they basically do nothing despite the boastful description of the clinic online (they don't provide treatment, they don't write referrals, they don't write sick notes, they don't give information about how to return to work, you don't get to see a doctor , you don't get continuous psychologist calls, etc.) then they will be completely shocked. They mostly tell you what they don't do and if you're lucky you get a couple of video calls. You will not receive any information about so-called rehab plan and they come up with goals and measures themselves at an internal meeting. I didn't even know until afterwards who was responsible for the so-called. rehab manager. The whole concept is a joke and largely useless. When I was honest with my disappointment and criticism, they dismissed me from the reception against my will. The only way to get meaningful help is to request that your oncologist hand you over personally to the family doctor with full information about your status and well-being. The GP must already clearly understand that it is he who is responsible for sick leave and rehabilitation when you are discharged from the oncologist. Unfortunately, there is no meaningful rehabilitation available for breast cancer patients today. It is a disaster for most when this place is worthless and few even have access to a family doctor. That being said, expect no help or rehabilitation from this deplorable place. The only thing you get if you're lucky is a few video calls, a bra or two, a conversation or two with a psychologist who is socially incompetent and clumsy and possibly a link to meditation and a referral to a physiotherapist at a fully booked Felgood who is impossible to get an appointment with without referral. Instead, try to get a referral to Mälargården or Mösseberg for rehabilitation weeks from your oncologist. It is the ONLY rehabilitation that makes sense today for us women with breast cancer. If I could rate this place ZERO, I would. Horribly incompetent and lousy treatment of cancer patients. I will report to a higher place. Our tax money should not be wasted on things like this⚠️

I am satisfied with the support I have received, according to the conditions (many who need support, few resources): Registration of a responsible nurse who sets up a rehab plan. After a waiting period, I was able to see a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist, and talk with a psychologist. The psychologist was fantastic and the talk show good, but there were few and short opportunities to talk about a life change that arouses a lot of emotions. It can be continued this autumn if they see that there is a need. Rehab = focus on regaining abilities and being able to work. A big focus is on exercise, which research shows is super important. I had to choose between dance and tai chi, as well as strength training.
