The words Grand Fitness make you expect something big and extra. It is not. Very small changing room where the cupboards are the size of bags. It is not possible to hang up your clothes. Crowded and humid. The gym is on two floors and is airy. On the day I was there, the connection did not work during the spin pass. The pass was shown on the big screen but no network was available for the sound. There was also no schedule as to what shift it was, the staff only knew that a shift started every full hour. Thought Grand Fitness would be a premium product, but especially the changing room and the cramped shower are far from a premium product.

Probably the gym with the nicest interior I've visited. However, there are some minuses that are quite large: - The dressing room is a disaster. Only small cupboards that you can squeeze your bag and winter jacket into. Also, only a small relief bench. If you are two people at the same time, it is full. - The insane placement of the bench press benches in front of the treadmills 😂 Really hard to have people running behind the head of one... Also, no weights over 5kg nearby, you have to pick them up on the squat rack. - Uncomfortably quiet in the mornings. The music is very low/non-existent. All you hear is the pounding of the treadmills.

I don't understand what is premium in this poor gym. The new Nordic Wellness in Älta has both more and a better range of machines. Larger changing rooms, more showers, free parking and costs me as a pensioner only 269 pix. Will leave Nordic Wellness there is no value for money anymore. How the hell can you run children's advertising etc. on the biggest screen and also other non-essential advertising. Redo, do the right thing and get the machines that are missing.

Nice and fresh gym with good equipment, e.g. eleiko competition bench. Very nice atmosphere for being a gym in town, you can do your training in peace and quiet. Minus for slippery barbells, not optimal for lifting.

Really like the gym, lovely atmosphere and all the machines and weights are there. But a big minus is that the personal trainers are incredibly rude and show zero respect for anyone other than those who attend the sessions. Half the gym is taken up in a small group and music is played for everyone in the gym at such a high volume that I can barely hear my own music in my noise canceling headphones. Think it should be a simple thing to solve but feedback doesn't seem to be accepted here. Will not extend my gym card and instead go back to nordic wellness. Sad because the gym has good potential. /From a person who is usually very positive and understanding.
