Old world charm with a generous host Sir Tommy

I enjoyed a weeklong stay at the Honiara Hotel and overall thought it was a great place to stay. More reasonable than other hotels in town and you have the option of a variety of places to eat and drink, and a huge clean pool (its 30m long or something like that) where you can lounge and relax. Our apartment style room was dated, but clean, had excellent air con, tea and coffee making facilities and a lovely verandah to enjoy the view of the city. The family that run the hotel and all the staff are lovely and will everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Hotel/airport transfers can be organised. There is an onsite chocolate shop (locally grown and made) and coffee shop.

The hotel room was clean but some basic things were missing. There wan't any minibar; although there was tea bags in the room there was no kettles to boil water! No safe. However the atmosphere was pleasant. The pool was clean and the quality of restaurants was good although a bit expensive)

They have a bar there that should be enjoyable. However the whole place needs some real make over.

Nice but a little old hotel, nice pool, great staff, good breakfast, close to central Honiara

Had lunch at the restaurant, quite reasonable. Reasonable thai options, service 3/5, food 3.5/5

The beds were uncomfortable. The bathroom is very outdated and has mould everywhere. Needs a revamp for the price you pay to stay here it's not worth it. Quite a dirty bathroom to be honest. The toilet had water halfway, apparently it was an old design of toilet I was told. The sealant around the bath had mould underneath...some photos for proof attached to my review... The view is very nice though

I visited this beautiful place for possibly the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Highly recommend!
