This is a fairly new hotel/motel in Cortland. The rooms were still immaculate and they were still finishing construction when I stayed here. The staff was helpful and seemed to know the area well enough. The location is good for travellers on Interstate 81, but if you are looking for a room with a view I would suggest the Ithaca area. I also observed some of the staff harassing some people in the parking lot. Not sure what about but the employees were causing more of a disturbance than the people they were arguing with. Not very professional nor called for on a Sunday morning while families were checking out and children were witness to vulgarities and threats of physical altercations if the employees orders werent followed immediately. The local police were even called by one bystander. No person, especially ones down on their luck as these people seemed to be, should ever be spoken to the way the employees spoke to these people. "But for the grace of God go I" The world needs more love and understanding. We need to help our fellow men and women when they are lost. You never know when YOUR world might come crashing down around you and you may need help one day and those people might be the ones you have to reach out to and ask for help. "Do unto others..."
