Sharing this here after Greek Peak deleted my review on the knot 🙃 We had our wedding at Greek Peak. Although the venue is beautiful, I wish I had listened to the negative reviews I read. Our wedding was a disaster. Chelsea is over worked and just can’t handle the amount of weddings that they provide. Food is mediocre. Service is absolutely terrible. My son’s ring bearer box was left behind by Chelsea and we weren’t even offered an apology. The catering woman made a comment to our dj that “although the wedding is until 11, I can have us on our way home by 8:30.” She rushed our food. Salads weren’t even half eaten before dinners came. My sister had two bites of her steak before that was taken also. We paid for food that literally was thrown in the trash by this woman. The state trooper showed up due to a noise complaint from a neighbor. Our rehearsal dinner and breakfast after took 2.5 hours each, I was serving coffee to my own guests. Our brunch buffet was never scheduled so we had to eat breakfast at carvers with another wedding party. Our guests weren’t offered discounted tickets to the water park like promised. If you want beautiful views, police at your wedding, hungry guests, and the feeling of either being rushed or forgotten about then Greek Peak is perfect for you. Oh and they take 6+ weeks to even begin to handle complaints.

All the elements for a 5-star experience were in place but execution came up short all around. We booked a room with a balcony in advance and were informed shortly before arrival that all balconies were off limits because they had been deemed unsafe. I do not believe we were provided any price reduction or credit for this change in room condition. We arrived at the lodge to find our room had been locked from the inside and needed maintenance to break in for us. When we were finally let in, we found that--despite it being unsafe--previous guests had been on the balcony because there was vomit and a towel out there (pic attached). It took considerable time for that to get cleaned because the door handle to the balcony was broken and the bolt lock required a special key that only certain maintenance staff had. So that was gross. The water park was fun for the younger kids but a bit boring for the teenagers. The shuttle to the mountain was mostly convenient but randomly went on "lunch break" without coverage and would leave people standing for 30 minutes. The mountain was in decent shape given the recent warm weather but many lifts were old and slow. Kids 6 and under ski for free, which was great. Lift ticket and rental prices were reasonable otherwise as well. The lodge offers complimentary ski and board storage, which is helpful. But we returned one evening and were told that no one was available and to just take our skis up to our room, which we did. The next morning, we were sternly spoken to by several staff on our way back out with our gear (which was one pair of 80cm skis for our young child). I don't think we'll be back and wouldn't recommend it to others until they dial in their level of service to match their prices.

The parking lot is a disaster, potholes like the moon. The quad lift is nice, but all the other lifts are beat. The new RFID system is great, very convenient. The slopes are generally well groomed. Not crowded at all during the week. If they would upgrade the lifts and fix the parking lot, it would definitely be worth the ticket price.

I use to love this place me and my family came many times. The 2 most recent times after spending all that money for my daughter's 5th birthday we did not appreciate at all such horrible attitudes from the life guards no extra night time no more for booking a room in the pool now no pool time before check out either cause the water park opens at 12pm verses the 9am time that it once was i don't think we will be returning again anytime soon

We stayed at Greek Peak for Land Rover's 75th anniversary celebration. I have to say, compared to another ski resort we've stayed at, this one was much better. Our room had a queen bed and pull out sofa bed with a fully equip kitchen. It felt clean and we had a nice big balcony with table and chairs. There were only two restaurant options and a little Waffle Shack opened daily. The hotel had a nice heated pool and hot tub. I actually thought it was better than paying for the indoor water park where the water was cold. My kids enjoyed the wave pool but they were too little to do any of the big slides. Water park tickets were worth it for the kids but if I was on an adult only trip, I wouldn't pay for the water park. The hotel pool was the better option in my opinion. The resort had an adventure center with zip lines, mountain coaster, and other climbing activities. We only took advantage of the mountain coaster. There was also an arcade connected to the indoor pool. The kids enjoyed the arcade and it was pretty inexpensive to buy tickets for the games.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful building and grounds. Many outside activities even before ski season. Food and drink were wonderful. Room is pedestrian but large. Great place to go off season. People are especially kind and helpful

Lines were ridiculous, mainly the unorganized nature of them. My main gripe was people cutting. Only reason I wasn't screaming at people was because I didn't want to embarrass my friend. Not hard to have 1 person per lift making sure the lines are good, or just train the lift team better. The teenage girl working definitely wasn't about to tell 50+ people to restart the line. Other than that, this mountain is great. It's big, wide open and has plenty of lifts (when the lines are normal) I will give the benefit of the doubt to Greek management. First busy week back, I totally get it. Hopefully this issue resolve itself as the season continues.

Beautiful location and lots of things to do. I am here in a conference and was placed in what was described as a triple room. It was my understanding that each person would have a separate room and bed. This, however, was not the case. The room has 1 bed, a Murphy bed, and a pull out sofa. I understand now why they have a spa downstairs, because after sleeping all of 2 non consecutive hours on a thin loud Murphy bed, my neck is out. Hopefully the ibuprofen kicks in. Honestly, in my opinion, the first thing a resort needs to consider is making sure their patrons have a comfortable sleep. The rest, although good, just isn’t enjoyable if you are tired from lack of sleep. There is nothing like sitting in a conference room for a few hours on little sleep and a stiff neck. The blanket provided for the sofa and Murphy bed was as thin as a sheet and added to my discomfort.

We stayed two nights at the newly constructed RV park at Greek Peak Resort. Sites are spacious and level. Plenty of room for an easy setup in our 36 ft Class A and had room for our pull car to park on gravel. The WiFi signal was strong enough for our laptop to use for a zoom meeting too. We'll be back!

We made an early summer trip and enjoyed Hope Lake nearby which has covered spots that you can barbecue if you have a grill. There are also uncovered grills there. Short easy trail there as well. Many finger lake trails nearby and west 40 min or so many beautiful waterfalls (Buttermilk, Taughannock)

#1 spot for my group, always a good time. New years warm weather will make for soft pow, Dec 27, they were making lots of snow and only a few trails were down due to bare and skim spots on trails. If you have your gear expect 100 dollars for 12 hours of riding.

did the ropes course… it was a filled group and got stuck behind everyone else slow, including people who should not have been allowed to go on the 2nd level crying freaking out. everyone who wanted got to try the 3rd level, but come time to me after finishing the 2nd group behind everyone slow and now there’s not “enough time” to let me do the 3rd level. i just paid as much as everyone else and wasn’t allowed to keep going because of other people? waste of money and time

Went Mtn Biking here! Had an absolute blast! Kira was awesome, professional, and she had excellent cosumer service. She was who we bought our day pass from. All the lift operators were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place 👍 👍

I don’t normally take the time to write to reviews but I thought it was worthy this time around. I want to start by saying my family of 5 had an amazing time at the water park and the lodge. The room was spacious enough to fit us all and it was clean and well kept. My only complaint is that I took time to call ahead and ask about water park passes for my family. I was instructed to purchases them ahead of time to ensure we got a spot at park that day. Saturday morning came around and I had all my passes ready, went down to the park right at 10 am when it open and there was already line out the arcade. There was no separation from the hotel guest or the guest that had purchase the passes ahead of time. Why did I buy my tickets sooner if I was still going to need to wait 30+ minutes to enter the park? I feel strongly there should have been two separate lines to accommodate the hotel guest. The food was great at the park and reasonable priced. The bathroom facilities could have used a cleaning we spent two days there and didn’t see staff checking out the bathrooms once. I’m in the middle of potty training a two year old so toilet paper all over the seats in every stall was a little frustrating. We had dinner at restaurant inside the lodge and the food was amazing. It was one of the best meals I’ve sat down and had in a while. My last complaint would be Sunday morning as I went to check out early I attempted to get coffee at the self serve station. I paid a few bucks for a cup of coffee and there was no coffee creamer at the station. This may seem like no big deal to some but I’m a momma who needs her coffee creamer. It was 630am and I asked the front desk lady if she had more creamer to re stock, she proceeds to tell me I need to wait until 730 am until the store opens which pretty much set me the edge. I want to say again my family overall had a great time and we would go back as it was a great vacation close to home. The hotel sent me an email with a survey to fill out when we had left- I took the time to write up this lengthy review and the survey told me my review had been rejected due to already being filled out and sent me back to the home page. This was also frustrating because I had taken the time to provide honest feedback with both pros and cons.

Stayed last night for a wedding and you cannot beat the location for a wedding. Views are absolutely beautiful and the staff did a great job, food was excellent. Great experience ! The room was average, you pay double what it is worth. One of our friends called to check if their room was ready and was told yes and when she checked in at the front desk ( a young man wearing a baseball with long hair, not what you expect to see at the front desk ) was given a key and when she went to her room the people had just left and the room was a mess. Not a lot of communication between housekeeping and front desk. Had breakfast at Cravers and was seated right away and was told it would be 20 mins before our waitress could get to us and the place was not even half full. Would not revisit but if you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue then you can’t beat this place.

Great mountain! People and service are fantastic. Lesson staff is great. Food is always way better than we expect and has consistently impressed. Repair shop fixed a broken snowboard quickly and got us back on the slopes. Lift lines move quickly and the installation of RFID lift passes moves everything along super quick. Night skiing, drinks, and outdoor fire pits to top it all off, and Greek Peak offers the full package. Will continue coming year as a yearly tradition.

I was there for a wedding. I did not stay in the rooms but other family did. The service throughout the event was exceptional. The hors de ovoirs were exceptional as well. I'm glad I filled up on them because the main meal at the reception there was just good. I understand it is difficult to serve buffet for large number of guests, but the flavor of the food was flat in my opinion. Service during the reception was excellent again. The hotel had a musty smell when in the lobby. The smaller rooms were as you would expect at a hotel but they were dimly lit. The larger 2 level suites were very nice with full kitchen and kitchenette dining table and couch. Bedroom was up a flight of stairs in a loft, which was cool.

This is a mountain biking review only I do feel Lucky to be within an hour of a lift access downhill mountain bike park. I think this place does an okay job of working with what they have. Lets start with the positives. The season pass is an okay price imo at $315. It's $40 for a day pass so you'd have to go 8 or more times to be worth it, if you own your own bike. The employees have all been great in my experience as well. There is some truly difficult stuff here. The lack of flashy jump lines is somewhat offset by the very natural techy trails. There's some fun wooden features and rock features which a decent variety of difficulty. This place will challenge even a very experienced person, just not always in a good way. The biggest positives so far have been the short wait times. This can EASILY be ruined by increased attendance without running a second lift which i'm nervous about. If the lines got ridiculous I would stop buying the season pass for sure. Most ski places in this areas have a major wait time problems which is why I do not snowboard anymore. Now for the bad. I really wish there were more horizontal flowy trail design. If you like flow trails this park has basically none of them. This park will have you breaking 80% of the time. Some trails are so steep that it sucks all the fun out of the trail. They have two main "jump lines" that should have been made opposite of how they are. On the section with smaller tabletop jumps 6-8 of them you have too much speed for the size of the jumps. For the three very large tabletops you lack speed. It's not quite as bad as it sounds but it's very noticeable after 10+ runs on it. Lot's of trails are tight and claustrophobic which again can be a good and a bad thing. They desperately need a less vertical flow trail with nice jumps and big berms . Currently most berms are very tight for how vertical the trail is in my opinion. The last negative is the pace of trail work and additions. It's very apparent that the trail maintenance and addition of new features is not given an appropriate budget.

This was my our first time visiting this resorts and let just say that we were totally blown away!! The rooms where vary spacious and they had everything that we needed for our 4 day excursion. The only thing I think that needs to be updated are the beds. The upstairs suite where we where staying had a queen size bed, and we found it rather to fall a sleep. If all of there rooms had king size beds that would be perfect. Despite the small bed we really enjoyed our stay and we plan on going back some time soon.

Greek Peak made a tremendous early season effort getting open early. Leak testing dozens of guns and laying it down for a decent opening run - top to bottom. Nice snow texture. Was impressive considering it was opening weekend. No cookies to speak of and could take a pair of dull skis with minimal edging through the snow. Well done. Had not been to Greek Peak in over 32 years and glad I did!

I booked a "Mom to Be Massage" they had absolutely NO accommodations for a prenatal massage, the massage therapist had no suggestions on how to make it more comfortable, when she asked if pressure was good I expressed it wasn't and she continues to pinch/barely apply any pressure. I had originally booked a 80 minute after 10 minutes I said I could only do a 50 minute massage- she ended the massage at 43 minutes. It was awful I left more sore than arriving. I was VERY disappointed in the spa services.

Small mountain, but wasn’t packed the 2 days we went. Slow start to the season, but the machines were able to make some good snow. Restaurant food is good and appropriately priced! Staff is really nice, ski patrol very helpful as well (friend had a bad fall). I hurt my shoulder after 4 runs on my first day, and I asked for credit for my first day. The manager gave me credit for both days since I only had 4 runs. Very appreciative!

Great variety of terrain. They make improvements all the time. 3 new trails added this year. Way less lift lines than comparable resorts. Fun water park, mountain coaster, tubing, and zip lines in summertime. Good at both restaurants, nice spa that my wife loves. Outstanding disc golf course around the lake, as well X-country & snow shoe trails. If you don’t like Greek Peak you don’t like ice cream!

Pricing doesn't match the hill. Fun overall but I didn't get a season pass this year because of the increase in price. Staff is nice and the guns work well. Just a little too expensive.

0 Stars do not stay here we were greeted with rude staff who promised a full kitchen upon arrival and never received one told management and front desk was never fixed nor compt couldn't use the elevator our entire stay due to unsupervised children riding up and down them all night. Also the children would knock on your door and then run away now I know what your thinking they are one time guest WRONG these specific guest rent it out 3 times a month and completely disrespect the staff who actually try to do there job (the restaurant and bartenders).

I’ve only been here for the winter Spartan races so all of the ski part was shut down. They do have a really nice facility for our purposes though and I can see the appeal for skiing. I wish I could have used a few of those lifts a few times :)

My friend and I went ziplining at Greek Peak this past weekend and it was worth every second. Grant and Tim were really awesome guides to have on the tour. They made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. They also made the tour really fun for the whole group. I never felt like I was in any danger with them either. To top things off, we got there for the 2 pm tour on Sunday. The tour usually runs close to 2 hours. The guides knew we were cutting it close to the time the mountain coaster would close. One of the guides asked the group if it was okay for my friend and I to zip down in order to catch the one of the last rides on the coaster. We definitely made it, thanks to him!!! I'll end by saying the ziplines and coaster was way better than we thought it would be! And the professionalism of the staff, top notch. We'll be back.

Best mountain in NY! Lines are never long, staff is friendly and the conditions are always solid. I spent over 30 days skiing here my senior year of college and well over 60 days during my time at school. I have nothing but good things to say about this mountain - fully plan on trying to make it back here soon Don’t forget about Greek Peak East. It is a hidden gem of the mountain with fantastic glades.

Room and the service was lovely. We had a loft bedroom, a full kitchen, living area, 2 bathrooms, and fire place. The state parks were so beautiful with the fall foliage! At the adventure center we did the zip line tour which was lots of fun!! We had a couples massage at the spa, which isn't the best we've ever had. The staff almost seemed uncomfortable at times. Also, the Steak House was nothing to brag about. We waited almost an hour for our food due to the fact that there were 2 weddings that day. Not super convenient for anyone else staying there due to the fact that the ceremonies were held right outside of the front lobby.

Great small indoor waterpark. Wave pool, pool that takes you outside (don't worry it's not cold at all!), little kiddie pool (shallow) with a small slide and swings, and a little play area with a couple slides. There are also a couple larger slides for bigger kids or adults and a small pool what appeared to be used for games but it wasn't open. Changing room and a bathroom that has showers are available and a small Cafe with food, drinks, and adult beverages. I give it 4 stars only because the busier it got, the more messy it also got and nobody appeared to be on "cleanup." But overall recommend and will go again, my almost 4 year old loved it.
