Mike is a top notch barista and is so welcoming. His LONDON FOG is the best I’ve ever had. He was so kind to my mom and me when we visited and recognized us by our second visit. I also love the maple smoked latte with oat milk. Great pastries, ample seating (it gets busy in the morning), and friendly staff.

I love this coffee shop so much! The employees are very kind and the food is amazing, as well as the coffee of course. I am diary-free and they have a lot of options. The only thing I do wish is that they didn’t close at 5pm. I like to enjoy coffee shops at later hours to work/study or read. Please change your hours 🙏

I think they have phenomenal coffee and a really friendly atmosphere. Simple quality bites are available to nosh on while you sip your coffee. They have a little mini fridge filled with cold tap water bottles, which i though was a very nice touch. I can see how some would call it, “small,” but I think it’s bright and airy for its size - definitely not cramped. I don’t live in Cleveland but when I’m there visiting family I ALWAYS make sure to stop at Heartwood because it reminds me the most of coffee shops back in New York.

This is a big city cafe in a small town. Downtown New York aesthetic and ambience with a perfect coalescence of bustle and cozy. All drinks in our group were thoroughly enjoyed and the morning bun was delicious - thank you! Truly an embarrassment for anyone who chooses to go to the Starbucks across the street. Hope to get back to this gorgeous, local cafe again!!

This is the best coffee shop ever the staff are really nice and respectful. The coffee is on point and the aroma is perfect for a day out or a study day around town. I appreciate the little tip jars, plants and, paintings. I also adore the fact that they have free wifi for guest. My only wish is that they would have more space for more guest!

I came here Sunday morning for the first time and had no clue what to try. I usually like mostly cream and sugar and a splash of coffee ha so I got the iced chocolate latte and thought it was too strong at first but the more it blended together it ended up tasting like perfection. Super smooth flavor. I wish I lived closer and could come more often! There were quite a bit of people but the ladies working the counter were really efficient and nice so it wasn’t a long wait at all. Can’t wait until I have another photoshoot in Chagrin and can go back! Just wished they had longer hours ;)

The coffee is great HOWEVER they advertise things from their bakery -like croissants - and then they sell them all off to the first person who gets there. I’ve tried five times to get some of their baked items that are gone immediately. Please quit advertising this if you are just simply baking for one or two people.Also, they don’t answer their phone, which is quite rude. I mean, they don’t answer their phone EVER and they have no answering machine so that you may leave a message. This has nothing to do with the quality of the coffee, but it does have to do with good customer service.

Amazing little coffee shop in the falls. Why would anyone go to the Starbucks down the road?? This was one of the best café mocha I have ever had, truly unbelievable. The cookies were delicious, however get there early as they lose freshness quickly because our chocolate one would have been even better had it been less hard.

Heartwood Coffee Roasters in Chagrin Falls is a must-visit coffee shop for any coffee lover. The atmosphere is top-notch, and the coffee is even better. I'd give this place a 5/5 rating without hesitation. The vibe at Heartwood Coffee Roasters is one of the best things about the place. It's trendy, welcoming, and cozy all at the same time. The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans was heavenly. Despite being a bit busy, I felt comfortable and relaxed, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Now, let's talk about the coffee. I tried their cappuccino, and it was fantastic. The barista knew their craft. Bold and strong. The foam was airy and light, providing an excellent contrast to the espresso's intensity. The cappuccino had the perfect temperature and taste, and I enjoyed every sip. Lead roaster Nick Wise knows his beans. Overall, Heartwood Coffee Roasters is an exceptional coffee shop that you don't want to miss when in the area.

We were there for just coffee having just ate lunch elsewhere. There are lots of coffee choices to suit everyone's desires including seasonal creations! Everyone chose something different and all agreed the hot beverages were delicious! Only negative was from the young mother in our group, she said there was no place in the bathroom to change a baby.

If you are allergic to nuts, you CAN NOT EAT ANYTHING IN THIS STORE WITHOUT RISKING YOUR LIFE. A serious nightmare for food allergy sufferers. I shared this review initially for the pinecrest location, however - I was told they use the same baker and not allergy friendly practices at this store as well. I am here to warn people so they won’t die from eating at heartwood. This doesn’t look like a peanut butter cookie, but it is. There is no sign indicating this whatsoever and no indication of nuts in this cookie. I only knew it was a peanut butter cookie because they had free samples out - without a sign. I asked what they were and they told me it was a peanut butter cookie sample. I told them how dangerous this was…Free, unmarked samples of one of the biggest allergens worldwide. And then you look in the case, and the peanut butter cookie is literally touching another “peanut free” dessert. This is cross contamination and a SERIOUS food safety issue. I mentioned this yesterday morning to the barista, who responded in a way that made me even more concerned. She stated that when the pastries are all delivered each morning - they are all just thrown together in the same box. They had no sign or disclaimer anywhere in the store mentioning this. If you are allergic to nuts, you CAN NOT EAT ANYTHING IN THIS STORE WITHOUT RISKING YOUR LIFE. I can not emphasize enough how quickly this could harm someone, especially since the peanut butter cookie has no sign saying what it is/ no visible indication of there being nuts in there. There is no disclaimer anywhere in the store about this very serious cross contamination issue. 1 out of every 10 people in the US have a lethal food allergy. Of those, 75% are allergic to nuts. Heartwood is playing with fire here. Since there is no disclaimer anywhere, you could sue them if it turned badly. However, I’d be more worried about risking someone’s life. Heartwood obviously doesn’t care about this. I’ve been a loyal patron of this business up until now. This is serious food safety negligence. Until this can be fixed, I won’t be coming back.

When this coffee shop first opened, it was perfect. Local artwork and plants (that you could buy) decorated the cafe. The drinks were good, quick, and the main barista there early in the mornings was so kind. The seasonal drinks were amazing (I LOVED one they called Sweater Weather). Lately though(2023), the seasonal drinks are meh and overpriced. Recently I've tried Blueberry Shakerato and the Queen of the Underworld. Blueberry Shakerato was just blueberry syrup and espresso over ice, and it cost $4 for essentially a doppio espresso. I couldn't even finish the Queen of the Underworld though it was no more than 5oz at best and cost $5. The service is less friendly and slower now, too.

Love this cute coffee shop. Coffees are fantastic but yesterday when I went in there were large fruit flies crawling on the baked goods on the counter which made me a bit concerned. I brought it to the attention of the girl ringing me up but I received no response back. May just want to check that out before you purchase the sweets. I’ll still get the coffee though.

I wish I would have taken a picture but omg the avocado toast! I've ordered it before and I've gotten coffee here a few times and this amazing cafe never disappoints me. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere and beyond delicious quality food and drinks. I ordered the avocado toast once again and I'm not sure but it was SPECTACULAR. I'm a big supporter of making my own but the price was fair considering it came with 2 pieces of toast and not just one. The flavor was impressive I now may have to make this couple of month trip more into a once a week.

Come on…you really can’t beat this place! In adorable chagrin falls, incredible coffee with fun seasonal offerings, delicious pastries made by their bakery, great vibe with lots of windows and plants. I love to come here to work and to spend time with friends! Know it is quite busy on the weekends, but for a good reason! If they’ve got a loaf of their sourdough for sale, make sure to grab that too!

Everytime I visit my family in Chagrin Falls, I make an effort to go here. Their coffee and specialty drinks are AMAZING. Huge fan of every drink I have tried. They also recently started making their own bread and it is an incredible addition. Although make you sure you go early because they tend to sell out of their bakery products. Overall, a must stop when in Chagrin!

The BEST coffee in Chagrin Falls hands down. Great environment for meeting and or working. Healthy but delicious treats to pair with your favorite drink. Try the “Honey Buzz!!”

If you are into coffee, coffee shops and great atmosphere, this place is an absolute home run. Awesome coffee beans, freshly baked bread, croissant and other pastries. Our daughter raved about this place for a long time and we can see why. Definitely worth the drive and visit!

Heartwood is a very nice coffee shop located in downtown Chagrin Falls. There menu is straight forward and easy to read. The service is very quick and the art is a nice added touch! Overall, it’s worth the visit.
