One of the most beautiful statues I've ever seen. If you visit Lake View Cemetery (and you absolutely should), you simply must visit the Haserot Angel. The detailing and care put into the statue is incredible, it is so lifelike and serene. The actual name of the statue is Angel of Death Victorious.

This bronze statue protects the burial plot of the Haserot family. Beautiful and eerie. It's tucked just off the road. **Please remember this is a cemetery and be mindful of where you step. There are other families buried on the way to the Angel. Be respectful of the dead and do not climb on our deface any of the memorials. You will see tokens left by those honoring the dead throughout the cemetery, leave them be. Honor the dead and remember them.

I hesitate rating this spot because unlike other "tourist spots" this one was relatively quiet. Cool old cemetery in general. They have great mausoleums, many fantastic sculptures, and I felt very comfortable walking around while respecting the space. Dogs welcome on leash.

Beautiful and serene. So many wonderful trees of all kinds! They are worth seeing any time of year, but my favorite time is fall. So colorful!!!

It is a masterpiece of human and nature. The angel was made in the cemetery with tearing down days by days.

I enjoy a good walk through a cemetery of yesteryear. This one takes the cake. Amazing cemetery beautifully designed. It was like a fine sculpture garden, an arboretum, and a cemetery all rolled into one. I intend to take another stroll there before I leave Ohio to go back home. For a cemetery, this was inspiring. If I was going to be planted in the ground, after I'm done living my dash.....it would be a likely place I would want to go.

Easy to find, even with it being in such a bigbig cemetery! Very popular spot. There was a line to see her up close on Saturday visit.

I have visited this grave before. It is beautiful and symbolic. I mean no disrespect to those laid to rest under her watch, but she is quite an emotion stirrer. The person who chose this sculpture to watch over them for eternity knew this as well. It’s a beautiful artistic piece and I’m happy to see that it remains in tact. I wouldn’t say this is worth a single trip for but if you were in the area and had some time, it’s a beautiful cemetery and she’s worth a peek at. I use Google maps and it took me right to her location each time, no problems.

A beautiful statue with a powerful presence. The Haserot Angel's official title is "The Angel of Death Victorious." She is victorious over life, and yet, she weeps. The meaning of her weeping is open to interpretation.

Lakeview Cemetery is a wonderful place to visit. The angel is both creepy and beautiful! She does a good job protecting the Haserot family.

Lakeview Cemetery is a cool place to wander around. The Haserot Angle also known as The Angle of Death in Victory is one of several iconic graves and Marker's. Some of the notable internees include Elliot Ness. President James A. Garfield, Michael Stanley, and Roger Thompson (my Grand Father in Law).

One of my favorite statues to visit over and over in Lake View Cemetery. It looks like she is crying black tears because of how the copper weathered and how the face is carved. Spooky.

The family took a lot of time and dedication. It looks very nice. I would like to have seen what it was when it was originally constructed
