Food was great but there is always a wait in this area. Went for a sit down lunch but the place was PACKED on a Friday afternoon. There were no tables. Space outside was available, however it was raining. My boyfriend milled around for 30 min waiting for food and I stood by the door waiting for a table. (We only got one when I raced some Jr high boys who didn't want to sit with their group.) Stuff like this seems to happen every time we go, so the experience always leaves something to be desired.

The entire experience was absolutely horrid. We. Had never been to Shake Shack, and we placed our order through the kisok and the main counter. Asked kindly for assistance, and the young cashiers were rude. One stayed on her phone, and though I smiled and spoke kindly, she was the rudest young lady I have ever encountered. I smiled and told her thank you despite wanting to remind her that she was at work and being on the phone was not appropriate, and her attitude was unnecessary. The entire restaurant was filthy. The tables and floors were dirty. This restaurant appeared to be run by young people (all under 25). This restaurant does NOT fit the area. New management is needed or training needs to be done.

First ever Shake Shack experience and it was overall ok. Nice place, well maintained and great location. Service took a bit and the burger was delicious but the chicken shack was terrible - flat, dry and funky. Otherwise I see why people love the burgers.

Burgers were good. Had the bourbon bacon jam with cherry peppers added. Fries and shake was ok not my favorite had the spicy cheese fries and strawberry shake. I did like the pomegranate dragonfruit lemonade drink. More on the expensive side and similar to most steakburger places.

Stopped into to get a quick shake. They have 2 kiosks and one at a register to order. I ca at about 9pm Ans it wasn’t too busy, waited about 20 minutes for 1 chocolate shake. The woman’s restaurant has a strong marijuana odor. Shake was good but have definitely been to better kept locations.

I remember when this place first opened a few years ago. The lines were long and people were at the registers. Now I know why this place wasn’t so busy when I recently stopped in. The restaurant was filthy, the registers were unmanned (self-service tablet was used for ordering), and employees were chatting and laughing it up in the kitchen—nobody that worked there could be seen. It was such an odd feeling, like the place was on auto-pilot. My daughter and I figured out how to order on the tablet, grabbed a cup for my drink, and went to the soda fountain to grab a Coke Zero. The drink was flat and full of a lot of foam..Diet Coke, same thing. Tried the Dr. Pepper…nothing but water. I just paid $3 for an unpalatable drink. When I finally was able to get the attention of an employee in the kitchen (interrupting the loud conversation taking place), she looked like she couldn’t be bothered—and she wasn’t. Nobody came out to the soda dispenser the 90 minutes I was there hanging out. Our food finally came out and it looked yummy. Korean BBQ burger, bacon avocado burger, two fries and a maple snickerdoodle milkshake. The fries and the milkshake were really tasty, but the burgers were nothing special. My daughter’s burger looked like it only had half a bun and it was soggy; my avocado bacon burger was flavorless. This was a waste of $38 that included a tip that I now regret leaving. Certainly, nobody earned it that day. Such an underwhelming and disappointing first experience.

The good: It is close to University Hospitals and is located in the Pinecrest Shopping mall, which is an absolute dream on a sunny day, especially with the option for outdoor dining. The inside is new and clean. Employees were all working, seemingly as a team. The atmosphere is definitely not that of a fast food place and while the menu only jas options one would expect of fast food, it is kicked up a notch. We ordered online. Our food was ready faster than expected. I was thrilled to have the option of a gluten-free bun, though there were no other gluten-free options since the fries, shakes, etc were all labeled in the menu as having gluten. When we received our order, both my gluten-free and my wife’s gluten-containing were packed open on one side and together in the same bag with the gluten-containing fries. Further the burgers BUT WERE NOT LABELED. We were dining in the restaurant, but if we had picked up to go, I would have no way of knowing which was mine. The burger was very tasty, though a bit salty. Overall, the price for the quality was the best value in Cleveland. There was also a sticker across the top of each drink that was very difficult to remove and the residue covered the whole for the straw. The order summary with my name and phone number displayed prominently on the outside of the bag peeled off without leaving a mark. Lastly, and I know this isn't their fault, but worth the mention, the parking is awful. There are two handicapped spots in front of their door. Those being taken, the remaining spots are impossible to navigate with a wheelchair and require you to ride on the street side of parked cars for over a block in order to get to a cutout.

Decided to stop in since we were in the area. I had the veggie burger, which was amazing. It's one of the best tasting veggie burgers I have ever had. The rest of my party had the regular patties. They said the burgers were okay. Shake shack smashes the patties down when they cook them and it ends up creating a sort of messy lopsided burger. The fries were a little on the salty side but not too bad. They messed up my son's burger twice as he asked for no spread and when they "fixed" it, they put spread again. We just scraped it off as it wasn't worth trying a third time. Overall if you're in the area it's worth checking out for the experience but it's definitely not as good as some of the other famous burger places around.

I am Canadian and was visiting Ohio and have always wanted to try this place. The service was a little slow but the food was AMAZING and so worth it. The burgers tasted incredible and had the best sauce I’ve ever tasted on them. The tiramisu shake was so delicious. and the fries were perfectly salted! I even liked the interior. I wish shake shack was in Canada because I would get it so often. When I visit again I’ll 100% come back to this place.

The area was good, such a nice shake shack and the food and shakes were good. Honestly if you can get to this shake shack, it's definitely a good vibe during dinner time.
