I
remember
when
this
place
first
opened
a
few
years
ago.
The
lines
were
long
and
people
were
at
the
registers.
Now
I
know
why
this
place
wasn’t
so
busy
when
I
recently
stopped
in.
The
restaurant
was
filthy,
the
registers
were
unmanned
(self-service
tablet
was
used
for
ordering),
and
employees
were
chatting
and
laughing
it
up
in
the
kitchen—nobody
that
worked
there
could
be
seen.
It
was
such
an
odd
feeling,
like
the
place
was
on
auto-pilot.
My
daughter
and
I
figured
out
how
to
order
on
the
tablet,
grabbed
a
cup
for
my
drink,
and
went
to
the
soda
fountain
to
grab
a
Coke
Zero.
The
drink
was
flat
and
full
of
a
lot
of
foam..Diet
Coke,
same
thing.
Tried
the
Dr.
Pepper…nothing
but
water.
I
just
paid
$3
for
an
unpalatable
drink.
When
I
finally
was
able
to
get
the
attention
of
an
employee
in
the
kitchen
(interrupting
the
loud
conversation
taking
place),
she
looked
like
she
couldn’t
be
bothered—and
she
wasn’t.
Nobody
came
out
to
the
soda
dispenser
the
90
minutes
I
was
there
hanging
out.
Our
food
finally
came
out
and
it
looked
yummy.
Korean
BBQ
burger,
bacon
avocado
burger,
two
fries
and
a
maple
snickerdoodle
milkshake.
The
fries
and
the
milkshake
were
really
tasty,
but
the
burgers
were
nothing
special.
My
daughter’s
burger
looked
like
it
only
had
half
a
bun
and
it
was
soggy;
my
avocado
bacon
burger
was
flavorless.
This
was
a
waste
of
$38
that
included
a
tip
that
I
now
regret
leaving.
Certainly,
nobody
earned
it
that
day.
Such
an
underwhelming
and
disappointing
first
experience.
