What else can can say! Awesome! I stopped in a few minutes before close and they turned the fryers back on and served me with a smile! If you are looking for great service and awesome food you found your spot. Seems to be a family run business. Get out there and support them. They made my night.

Literally just left there on my lunch break. First time there. Ordered 2 pastelillos and came right back for 2 more (my stomach is not giving me the best review because it's a little over full lol) but I tried different kinds and was impressed with all of them. Crispy yet tender where it matters. Perfect amount of spice. Very friendly staff. I mentioned it was my first time there (always a good idea anywhere you go) and was shown everything they have to offer. They even cater! Awesome mom and pop corner eatery!

The service was great, very warm and friendly. Nice old school family business atmosphere. Was my first time visiting and sorry to say I was very disappointed with the food. Pastelillos were over cooked, had one with only a small spoon full of beef and was nothing but hard dough, rice and beans were under cooked and flavor overall with the food was fair. However the desert was very enjoyable. Sorry, that was my first and last time.

One of the best places to eat authentic Spanish food, definitely recommendable. Thank you for the good service. 2 thumbs up for Lorain Pastelillo House.

The beef stew is out this world good. the rice its standard yellow rice nothing special but cooked right not hard or mushy just a little bland for me. the posteillo or half moons were great nice crisp outer but still tender, meat inside was very flavorful. all and all I really liked it. A lot of people will probably say the rice is excellent as it was cooked perfectly just lacking a bit of pop but not enough for me to not give 5 stars. it's also very clean which worried me by looking at it from outside but inside was very clean and staff is very friendly

My favorite place for mofongo & pernil by far. I don’t know if their other food is good because when I come here I only want this

Drove in from W138 to grab some tacos with the Birria dipping sauce. Yum. The young lady behind the counter couldn't have been more helpful.

Good food, good service. I've never had a pizza pastelillo before and it was great! Will eat there again!

Food was absolutely delicious, but when getting the rice and beans, and beefstew dinner, please use plastic wrap to wrap the containers. When I got home, there was juice from the beef stew all over my seat in my car, and spilled all over in the bag. Other than that, was really good!!

I grew up in Lorain but have lived in Idaho for many years. I came back to visit last week and this was one of my first stops. I've been eager to try it since following the FB page and seeing good reviews. We loved every item we tried! Excellent and we can't wait to come back. I pre-ordered a few days ahead of time and they had it ready and packaged right on time. Perfect 🀩

OMG. The food is delicious. Ordered the pernil and the guineo escabeche. Plus took an order to go of carne guisada & yellow rice. The husband and wife team are awesome. They chatted up a storm with us!

I am not from Lorain, but often in the area. I have heard about this place from a few people over the years. I am a gyros and more advocate so I never tried nothing else when I’m here. I had a surgery today so I was feeling spontaneous. I hate that a waited so long before trying this place out. The walk up will capture you alone the smell fills the air. The food was beyond amazing and the portions are great. Needless to say I’ll be taking a big break from gyros and more lol.

Finally tried birria tacos. Yummmmmmm! But the Puerto Rican rice n beans. Wow! Brought me back to my youth when my mom made it for me for every birthday dinner! Will definitely be back to try some more!

I think the food was good it was very tasty the pernil (spanish pork shoulder) was a bit fatty but what meat there was was really good. The person taking the order had a hard time understanding me a patron had to help me out but did eventually get it. I think their menu is a bit unclear and convoluted and could use some updating or clarification but other than that it works. It's a humble little place you can eat at but it was clean I only wish they didn't have such short hours at this current time it seems they're only open two or three days and not on weekends. I plan on coming again maybe I'll change my review if it's better then otherwise it's still a great place.

The food is amazing there. I loved the fact they sell jewelry too, drinks, and there's a place where you can sit down! Perfect place to get some good food,

Didn’t feel like cooking so I went here. Worst saltiest pork chops I’ve ever had. Salty tostones don’t even come with garlic oil .
