We picked up fish fries on a Friday in Lent (which are carry out only now). We called and the recording said we could call in our order, but I called 3 times and no one answered the phone. So we ordered and paid online which was ok. When we arrived the orders were ready. The fish was really good and so were the perogies and coleslaw.

My family has belonged to this parish since 1990 and we love our parish family. My husband and I have been members of the choir since 1991 and our daughter joined us when she was about 15. Our daughter attended grade school here and got a wonderful education!There are so many ministries in our parish you would be hard pressed not to find one that was of interest. The Night at the Races, Indians ballgame, fish frys, and the annual parish picnic are just a few of the great events held here. This year of course, things have changed due to COVID-19 but we look forward to the return of these fun events!

I don't know how to review a church other than things are good, most bibles are in good shape, pews are in good shape, parking lot is in good shape. FISH FRIES HERE ARE GREAT! PSR here is good, I don't know, it's a great church.

I was baptized here and have been a parishioner my entire life. My parents became parishioners in 1990. I attended the parish Academy and have been involved with several of the parish's ministries over the years. Assumption is a Catholic Church that does not hide its Catholic identity. The Benedictine monks that staff the parish, especially the pastor, Fr. Justin Dyrwal OSB, are here for the parish and the souls of all parishioners. Reverence in Liturgy, consistent teaching always in line with the Catholic Church's Tradition, and a place to discover Jesus Christ are what you will find at Assumption.

I have been to many churches; there's just something about the Benedictine Monks!

Not many people going to mass these days but you can sit socially distant and there is no hand shaking during the sharing of piece. The Christmas Alter was beautiful.

A beautiful church. The First Communion service was quite moving.

This church is beautiful! Visiting from out of town and thoroughly enjoyed attending the 10:30am Sunday mass. The pastor of 18 years was the celebrant and he gave a good homily. What more can you ask of a church experience?!

I have been a parishioner here for 58 years. The Church has gone through some difficult phases, but is coming out of the COVID restrictions nicely, and attendance/support is rising again. Newly updated to be more traditional and aesthetically pleasing, I believe that the Church feels much more welcoming than it ever has. The Academy is getting excellent academic marks and I am seeing the growth of young families, which is always wonderful to see.
