I have no words, but yet so many!! I'm putting myself on punishment for not trying it sooner. This food is amazing! I'm moving to Nigeria. That's it. It's settled. I'm moving.

Bobby/Jeff 😂 loves his dinner as always! Always a pleasure in every way when I come for nourishment here. Perfectly jazzed, super tender, always mega fresh n yummy. Tonight beef stew with jollof rice and plantains. And since i got dubbed ‘Bobby’ in a typo, I didn’t shave my stache. Tonight I’m Bobby. And tonight Bobby ate like a king. Thanks as always, to Desmond and Co. at FORK IN NIGERIA

The food was so spicy and delicious. I ordered the joloff rice a and stew lee veggies and plantains. The downside is i ordered from here a year ago and the portion size have went down yet the prices are higher. Good food either way.

I've ordered from Fork in Nigeria several times. They are so addictive!!! I love absolutely everything: the puffpuff, fried plantains, oxtail, goat shank (which just falls off the bone its so juicy and tender), jollof and fried rice, zobo juice.... I can't get enough. Customer service is also great.

Ewura Ama was absolutely amazing!! Her personality alone would have me coming back for more. As for the cassava leaves, I loved them and will continue to come back. I am from Sierra Leone and this food is authentic!!

The food is ALWAYS amazing. Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, there is something for every diet. Snacks, appetizers, entrees, dessert, beverages. Have never had anything bad from the menu. You can expect service with a smile, every time. Step outside of your norm, and allow yourself the opportunity to experience a myriad of tantalizing herbs and spices that are not only good to you, but good for you as well. Hats off to them, job well done!

Although some people say this food truck has good food, that was not my experience. I have eaten here twice. I ordered simple dishes like veg/rice, fries, and plantains. The rice was extremely salty. The plantains were cold/old, and the fries inedible. I really wanted to return and demand a refund. The food is over priced. Will never eat here again. Service is also slow.

Really wanted to try Fork in Nigeria for a while, the Food is Amazing, I had the wings, Egusi and Fufu meal. One thing that TRULY DISAPPOINTED Me was I ordered from Menu sitting outside the Food Truck but Prices are Different when you order, wing dinner $11.50 on sign but $13.50 when you order. I asked the Kind Gentleman if he could change it because that’s false advertisement, he told me he couldn’t I would have to contact the Owner. Working in Customer Service you don’t do that, esp to your Customers, that makes me Leary to come back. Please don’t do this to your customers, my bill was $35.00 and I still tipped. Very disappointed.

I found this place while on the hunt for Black Businesses in Detroit. Tried this placed twice and it’s literally my favorite treat when on the west! Food is always so good, staff is very nice and friendly. I get the Stewed Chicken platter which is always so bomb!!! Today I tried the Zobo Tea, which was so good and tropical! I recommend you come out and support this restaurant! The food is worth every penny!! 💯💯

My niece spoke so highly of this food truck, I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed! In Nigeria they must feed the entire village with one ox, because I've never seen oxtails cut this thin! The menu advertised 4 oxtails, but I only received 3. The rice was sticky and just did not taste good. I ended throwing the entire meal away. While the tea was pretty good (but also overpriced), it was a complete waste of $40. But the ladies running the food truck at Ferndale Pride were very pleasant.

I had 5 small pieces of goat, I also had a problem with the hard carrots I also had a hard piece of plantain . I also bought red snapper it was over cooked and didn’t need red sauce on it. There was to much rice as well for my first time trying out the food. Also, the portion is very small for the money they are requiring for the food. But the food did taste good.

Delicious and such flavorful food. The depth of flavor was amazing. Order a head of time with the food truck. Staff very nice. Vegan options. 100% halal. Got the jollof rice meal and the spinach & kale fufu meal. Plantains were so yummy.

Yall are sleeping on the okra. BEST OKRA I HAVE EVER TASTED. So I had some in Ann Arbor today. Got some egusi and Okra stew with goat and Fufu and it was legit the best okra stew I ever had and i am an okra fanatic and had it in from all cuisines, this is the best. Period. The suya was great too. Can’t wait for the next time they’re in town.

Been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest. I'm a foodie, lol. I enjoy authentic food. I was highly disappointed. The Okra Stew was salty, super salty. The Egusi soup was wonderful, wonderful spice and flavor. My pick up time was 3:20 pm. It was only 1 person on the truck. She was taking private calls, and didn't even know what my order was. She called her boss/owner. Wait time wasn't long...about 8 minutes. Okra stew is salt mountain. Not worth $23.50. And I drove 20 minutes away from home. Anywho, I spoke to the chef/owner, very understanding. Customer Service is A+ when settling disputes/misorders. I will be back for some plantains and a side of jollof rice...lol, as a replacement of $10. Yvette is my name, put my name down. No harm, no foul. I just really wanted the experience. Lay off the salt. Just an honest review, about a 2.5 if that was capable. Will even edit my review. Peace and love folks 😊

The stewed chicken meal slaps! 🔥 I am interested in trying the fufu next with one of the other veggie / vegan dishes. Edit: Fufu chicken meal was amazing, I loved all the spices. Mouth watering flavor. Can’t wait to sit down in midtown too!

Loved this meal! It was so flavorful and my plaintains were perfect! This food is not for the faint of heart, you need to LIKE SPICE to order anything. Lol. I'm spice adverse so I made sure to alternate with the sweet fried plaintains and the cool, refreshing Sorrel. Delicious!

Visited this place for the first time! It’s such a hidden gem. I ordered the fufu meal ( came with egusi and added chicken. Also, ordered the chicken wing meal with garlic parmesan fries. Everything was delicious and fresh!! Also, good customer service. I will definitely be back!

Fork in Nigeria never disappoints whenever they come to Ann Arbor. Yes, it can be slow sometimes but you have to keep in mind that they are handling so many orders in a small space. I usually get the Egusi soup and Fufu meal! I have added meat as well and it was fresh. If you order the oxtail it is expensive and not worth it in my opinion. Customer service has always been good.

This is good food that will make you want to dance in your seat! Large portions, very fresh, made to order. Rich flavor. I definitely recommend! I tried the meat pies, cassava with chicken , and the ox tail. Finger lickin good 😀 Don't sell yourself short with 1 meat pie, and get their 3 for 10 deal. 1 will only make you wish you had more lol. Thank you for the good service!

I just placed an order here for the first time in my lunch break. I called in my order, it came up to 36 dollars. When I returned to my job I see I only received 2 oxtails that were 10 dollars when I placed my orders I was informed that I would be get two big oxtails which are shown in the picture then two medium oxtails. 4 oxtails probably could’ve fit but when I called back they told me that couldn’t be now I’m left unsatisfied this wasn’t a good first impression hopefully I can still enjoy my food

This place is absolutely amazing and the customer service is excellent!!!! Even when they are sold out of an item, they go out of their way to make sure they recommend something that you will like. I have tried just about every soup they have and I LOVED every single one of them!!!! The portion sizes are generous in my opinion and definitely worth the money. I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. I highly recommend to anyone who likes flavorful and authentic Nigerian food. They have a loyal and faithful customer in me for sure!!!

I don’t know what’s worse, the food or the customer service. I had ordered food over the phone, picked up and on getting home realized I didn’t get a complete order. As a matter of fact, what I had specifically complained about over the phone and requested an alternative was what was put in my order. Called to complain and the person that picked won’t stop yelling and telling me she gave me exactly what I ordered and there’s nothing she can do. Can’t remember any service being so rude over the phone. She ended up dropping the phone on me coz I was sure what I ordered and I wanted her to take responsibility. Anyways if you’re looking for some subpar African food, some cash to throw around and a very rude customer service… this is your spot. NEVER AGAIN! 👎🏾 👎🏾

We got the jollof with a side of stewed chicken and zobo drink. I have never had jollof before and i am completely in love with it now. The side of stewed chicken was so good that i did not want to share it with my husband. Next time I will get 2 sides of stewed chicken. The way the chicken was seasoned was so tasty! I can not wait to go back.

Delicious and great customer service! If you’re used to Nigerian food, you may want to ask for extra spice because it’s not as spicy as you would typically get in Nigeria or if it was homemade. Still, everything is so good and I love that it’s a family business. I really hope they continue to expand. I’ve told family and friends to try it , and they all like it.

The food from here was absolutely amazing, I had to ask if they put crack in it 😩. If you want to try nigerian food this is the place to go! Customer service was great as well, everyone was so nice. I’m currently holding a grudge against my nigerian friends for not introducing me to their country’s food because I could literally eat this everyday :)
