👍👍 This place seems to be older than Hoysala period being Closer to Somnathpura . The rituals and practices of the villagers are not of “vainava” legacy, but seems mostly of “shaiva” and had been converted into vainava or a vishnu temple during Hoysla period. Also the form of lord vishnu is not of usu... People often mention temple,

This place seems to be older than Hoysala period being Closer to Somnathpura . The rituals and practices of the villagers are not of “vainava” legacy, but seems mostly of “shaiva” and had been converted into vainava or a vishnu temple during Hoysla period. Also the form of lord vishnu is not of usual idol but more of Aruba form. But for us God is one, and this place sure has the legacy of centuries and emits the positivity of the prayers offered for 1000s of years. Do not forget to sit on the rock and close ur eyes and meditate to feel the power of calmness and positive aura of the place.

A very remote temple of Lord Ranganatha on Malavalli Mysore road. You can go by your vehicle/ auto atop the hill till the temple. Enroute you have beautiful view. Major renovation going on right now . Don't miss this if you like offbeat places.

Visit during evening time. Day time, it will be crowded. Just 4kms from T.Narasipura - Kirugavalu main road. You find so many beautiful peacocks roaming around carefree. Serene and calm. If you visit during Shraavana month Saturdays, there will be festival going on. Free food will be distributed during those days. Small hike and beautiful views for your sore eyes. You have three different roads which can connect you to different parts of different main roads. So easy to drive, nice place to visit with family. So I recommend this place for leasure hours visit.
