The Tinicum Rear Range Lighthouse is one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the Philadelphia Area. If you’re ever near Paulsboro, I highly recommend this historic structure. It is 112 steps, and has a beautiful view of the Philadelphia Skyline from the top.

Constructed in 1880, the Tinicum Rear Range Light still serves as a navigational aid along the Delaware River. The light is open for tours every third Sunday between April and October. With only 112 steps, the climb to the top is fairly easy and worh the view!

There was a gentleman painting and we were blessed to climb up on an off day! What a great guy gave us the lowdown.

It was an amazing experience. My son and i had a great time we got to watch an airplane take off from the Philadelphia airport clear as day. The view is breathtaking. So happy i got the chance to walk to the top. Thank you to the amazing people who ran it and was able to give me the information that i asked for.

Cool light house near the Delaware River. Only open on the 3rd Sunday of the month, April-October. Will return on a day that it is open so that I can climb the tower.
