Beware
the
blue
haired
charlatan
that
is
Janine
Binneman.
As
lovely
and
bubbly
a
person
that
Janine
is,
I
had
the
most
sloppy,
unprofessional
and
overpriced
experience
with
her
and
her
team.
I
feel
I
need
to
express
my
bewilderment
at
the
chaotic
journey
that
we
had.
Not
only
was
I
overcharged
by
nearly
R9000,
54
diamonds
were
not
returned
to
me
and
wouldn’t
have
been
had
I
not
chased
them
up,
the
wrong
ring
was
credited
as
my
mother’s
and
melted
down
before
we
could
check
the
weights
and
carats
were
correct,
which
was
devastating,
and
I
was
charged
an
extra
R4400
for
alterations
that
I
was
never
quoted
for,
believing
them
to
be
part
of
the
design
process.
I
do
not
believe
that
any
of
this
was
done
with
malice
or
intent
but
the
multitude
of
errors,
one
after
the
other,
is
unacceptable.
I
am
so
disappointed
also
at
the
lack
of
bewilderment
on
Janine’s
behalf.
I
never
dreamt
that
such
a
comedy
of
errors
would
have
then
been
so
persistently
invoiced
and
chased,
all
without
meaningful
apology.
Because
it
was
just
before
Christmas
I
paid
in
good
faith
believing
she
would
get
back
to
me
after
the
holidays
to
try
to
rehone
my
rings
into
something
I
loved,
but
I
have
since
to
hear
a
single
word.
Not.
One.
Word.
This
was
an
important
project
to
me
as
I
was
reinventing
my
late
mother’s
jewelry,
and
I
do
not
feel
as
though
proper
due
care
was
taken
and
now
the
sentiment
of
something
that
should
have
been
so
lovely,
in
honor
of
my
mother,
has
been
at
best
blurred,
but
sadly
pretty
much
lost.
What
I
got
out
of
the
process
was
two
eternity
rings
that
are
beautiful,
but
set
in
such
a
way
that
makes
them
scratchy
and
uncomfortable
against
my
skin
every
time
I
touch
my
face.
The
upside
is
that
they
look
shiny.
But
the
biggest
disappointment
of
all
is
that
I
was
presented
with
a
ring
that
originally
was
two
different
heights,
had
a
gaping
hole
in
the
middle
of
it,
and
is
set
in
such
a
way
that
does
not
offset
the
diamonds
at
all,
making
them
lacklustre
and
making
the
metal
look
silver,
certainly
not
a
pure
shiny
white
gold.
And
I
absolutely
hate
it.
I
do
not
believe
that
refurbing
jewellery
is
Janine‘s
passion,
as
she
outsources
all
of
her
work
and
charges
the
client
for
every
change
made
(which
is
not
ever
mentioned,
until
time
of
-
very
large
-
invoice)
and
as
good
as
she
may
be
in
her
own
unique
style
of
design,
I
would
not
recommend
her
for
a
passion
project
that
involves
redesigning
existing
jewelry.
