Just
the
3
stars
this
time,
people.
Read
further
down
if
you
want
to
know
why
not
5
stars.
I
use
lidl
for
two
reasons.
The
first
is
that
I
have
the
choice
of
two
stores
to
use,
choosing
the
closer
one
when
my
list
is
short.
Each
store
has
different
bargains
as
well
as
goods,
which
vary
both
in
selection
and
price.
They
also
have
different
layouts,
which
cause
me
to
look
that
little
bit
harder
for
my
usual
purchases,
picking
up
some
good
bargains
I
wouldn't
have
othereise
spotted.
The
second
reason
is
that
Lidl
is
cheaper
than
Tesco
or
Asda
for
most
of
my
weekly
shopping
list.
This
saves
me
money
both
at
the
till
and
in
petrol.
There
are
plenty
of
car
parking
spaces
at
both
venues.
Although
being
a
disabled
person
with
breathing
issues
and
a
blue
badge
holder
does
not
guarantee
me
a
parking
space.
Most
of
the
time,
the
disabled
spaces
are
taken
up
by
taxi
drivers,
some
waiting
to
cadge
a
fare
while
others
do
their
shopping.
This
happens
a
lot
of
the
time,
or
other
inconsiderate
drivers
who
are
more
than
capable
of
walking
longer
distances
than
me
but
are
just
plain
selfish
and
lazy.
White
van
men
also
use
these
dedicated
spaces,
sometimes
taking
up
two
or
more
spaces
at
a
time
as
their
vans
are
too
long.
Most
have
sign
writing
with
telephone
numbers,
but
complaining
is
fruitlessly
a
waste
of
my
time,
often
with
a
rude
response.
My
last
negative
point,
I
promise,
which
must
be
raised,
concerns
the
fruit
and
vegetables.
I
have
stopped
buying
fruit
and
vegetables
from
Lidl
because
I
was
fed
up
having
to
return
the
following
day
with
produce
that
had
gone
bad.
It
would
be
covered
in
mould
or
rotten
when
the
peel
or
skin
was
removed.
Lettuce
with
more
than
the
average
amount
of
dirt
or
insects
or
cucumber
that
would
turn
to
slush
after
four
days.
From
time
to
time,
I
purchase
the
occasional
fruit
and
vegetables
in
the
hope
that
things
have
changed
but
within
a
couple
of
days,
the
peppers
have
developed
mould
around
the
stems
where
they
meet
the
skin
and
when
cut
open,
there
would
be
mouldy
seeds.
As
for
other
produce
such
as
oranges,
they
would
have
that
distinctive
rotten
smell
ehrn
peeled
or
cut
open.
Peaches
would
be
mouldy
on
the
underside
and
mouldywithing
three
or
four
days.
Plumbs
were
no
different,
but
bananas
are
always
ok
for
some
strange
reason.
That's
my
rant
for
today,
folks.
Life
is
too
short,
so
I'm
getting
on
with
it.
