The
food
and
service
is
moderate.
It’s
definitely
a
busy
place
even
after
coming
on
a
weekday
night
for
dinner,
and
slightly
overpriced
at
$16
for
a
bowl
of
ramen.
The
starters
are
even
more
expensive
and
are
also
average,
like
the
takoyaki
came
only
with
5
pieces
and
didn’t
have
much
flavor
inside
the
batter
and
barely
much
sauce
on
top.
I
enjoy
how
you
can
choose
your
soup
base,
protein,
and
add-ons
which
allows
for
more
customization
and
they
have
several
different
protein
options
including
unique
ones
such
as
bulgogi
and
chicken
katsu.
It
was
good
that
the
chicken
katsu
came
on
the
side
with
a
separate
japanese
dipping
sauce
that
I
used
alongside
dipping
it
into
the
soup.
The
katsu
was
bland
which
makes
sense
since
it
was
paired
with
the
soup
but
also
wasn't
that
crispy.
In
my
opinion,
all
of
the
soups
are
on
the
saltier
and
very
intense
savory
side,
especially
the
spicy
ones
which
are
packed
with
spices.
The
spicy
level
was
great
for
me
in
both
the
volcano
and
spicy
miso
ramen,
but
I
feel
like
it
was
too
much
that
it
overwhelmed
the
base
richness
of
the
tonkotsu
broth(which
I
should
probably
try
next
time).
The
shoyu
tori
was
a
chicken
and
soy
based
soup
which
was
good
but
kind
of
salty.
Personally,
between
the
volcano
and
spicy
miso
I
liked
the
spicy
miso
because
of
the
umami
from
the
miso
paste,
though
both
were
pretty
good.
The
portion
sizes
are
pretty
generous,
but
I
wish
there
were
more
vegetable
toppings
like
mushrooms.
