Checkout fast, really felt rushed to pack items, so spoils visit. Store shelves very well stocked, fruit, veg, meat and fish excellent also use by dates. Cool and airy in store.

I appreciate the parking company isn't Sainsbury's but all the same surprised to learn the parking cost for 2 hrs will rise from £1.50 to £2.20 which is a 47% increase. I guess some people take advantage of 10% inflation to gain 30%. And in any event, how inflation is impacting parking will I'm sure have a dubious rhetoric.

Large store, but you have to go up two flights to get to it. Currently the escalator to the second flight is being repaired so you need to take the lift from the ground floor, or you will have to climb stairs to get to the second floor. Lots of spacious aisles, but not in the standard layout we are used to. Found what we wanted and paid through the self service, as only had two items. There is a multi-storey car park where you can park on the top floor to have level access to the store.

Good sized shop. The larger trolly self check out area is brilliant - the one for baskets feels like I’m hemmed in. Always well stocked, and the fruit and veg is turned around timely. -1 star for frequently running out of baskets at the entrance, leaving me to search for a stack of them at a checkout, wasting time and I often have to get past people queueing to get to them.

Like the shop, close to my house. But totally fed up of having to que to pay for my shopping with real money. When there are empty pay by card checkouts. I dont want to get in debt and so use real money so it's easy to keep track. Why are shops pushing to get us to stop using cash?

Very nice place with great prices, and amazing bakery. Having dedicated section for vegan/vegetarian food frozen and cold. Massive selection of groceries, and great prices. I’m always happy to visit, and satisfied with experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Once thought of as a bit pricy, and it can be if you but some of their unusual items. Standard fare is good prices.....they have also jumped on the price match bandwagon which is good for customers. Quality is still better than average

Easy access with multiple entrances. Parking space is also available. Drive or walk in, shop, and leave Happy.

So this was a last minute trip to grab a few essentials whilst on holiday although lot of the shelves were empty. I appreciate COVID is having an impact on distribution but not used to seeing shelves like this. Pay and display carpark where you can claim back the cost with a voucher as long as you spend over £10 although due to lack of products this proved to be its own challenge

A very good supermarket with great quality food and items. Although, I have had times where staff members on the checkout till stop work to engage in conversation with other customers. I have no issues with staff chatting to customers or myself, as long as they are still working. However, waiting an extra 5 minutes for the cashier to finish a conversation with a customer in front is unnecessary when it causes a hold up.

Top supermarket .. tad expensive.. but always nice things. E.G; Sainsbury's Red label tea, Sainsbury's Jumbo oats. Good selection of decent wine and beers. Some peopled checkouts. Wide isles .. Deli counter and fresh bakery. Very supermarkety.

Friendly staff. Good range of stock but still missing some fairly normal items such as lime pickle. Let down by the car park and shopping centre. Although parking is refunded if you spend over £10 the ticket machines don't give change (and if there was another option for paying it wasn't obvious). Lower level doors to the shopping centre closed over an hour before sainsburys did so the plan to nip to some of the nearby shops before going to the supermarket was somewhat scuppered by having to haul a pram up a flight of stairs to get back to the level sainsburys is on. Doesn't have SmartShop scanners and the app will lose data if you try scanning it at the checkout before the cashier is logged into the right system.

My daughter has just broken her ankle but we needed to do a shop. We were given a motorised wheelchair and shown how to use it by the security guard, sorry didn’t get his name. Her crutches were looked after by the gentleman on the kiosk who offered and we were helped by Gary on the self serve. The store (I usually use the mega store and not this city centre one) was clean and well laid out. It must be difficult to be disabled but your store has considered all its customers. Well done, we’ll be back.

Cafe food and drink cost to hi. not enough choices on the menu. Food and drink very good . everything in the Sainsbury's shops too expensive. choice of food has dropped and prices have gone up. I though Sainsbury's cafe is better than ASDA and Tesco at Lee mill. but the old days Sainsbury's cafe it was better than not now I would say it's ok. the best cafe at the moment is Plympton co-op supermarket cafe for for snacks and drinks not for big meals plus staff our friendly toilets available for customers parking at the Ridgeway or or get the bus there 21A and 21 city bus

Not been there for a while but it was clean and tidy, I wasn't disappointed. The shelves were well stocked and the staff were helpful and efficient.

Always use this car park when visiting Plymouth Town Centre. You can get 2 hours parking repaid if you spend some money in Sainsbury. There is a Wilkinson underneath which is well handy.

I am not a big fan of Sainsbury's because of the high prices. I do agree the products are good. Today I the prices were almost same as the place where I regularly buy. Some things are cheaper too..

With a convoluted and poorly signed route up from the main shopping centre (for foot traffic at least), a well hidden Smart Shop QR code - and with personal pricing offers you want to use it for sure - slightly confused layout and lack of products on shelves (both range and availability of stock) makes this a bit disappointing On the plus the city centre location is helpful Could be better but not issues that will stop me shopping here just lower expectations than usual for Sainsbury's

I used to love shopping in my local Sainsbury's, but not as much at the moment. Went in again today used my mobile to scan everything we wanted. Quite a few of the end of shelves were empty so covered up. Alot of the shelves were empty of necessities and treats. It's bad enough with the prices going up let alone not being there! Have chosen food over leccy and gas. It's getting that expensive to shop here that we will probably go back to Lidl and Aldi as they do work out cheaper. Even with my Sainsbury's discounts it's still too expensive for me and my old man. It's not ok being dearer but every time we go in the same items are even dearer than the day/week before. Thought I was in M&S or even Morrisons with them prices!!!!! Not doing themselves any favours with putting the prices up by so much.

You have to pay for parking. You do get a a coupon equal to the value of your parking ticket - however you have to spend £10 to redeem the coupon. Absolutely ridiculous.

Quality food and various home equipment. Would recommend their kitchen stuff. Bit pricey for students and people on a budget but you pay for quality

Excellent customer care today from a lady called Elizabeth working on till 13. Even though we were the last on her till before it closed she stayed and helped us figure out how to set up smart shop on my mobile (whilst on her break). It took a good 5 minutes at least. Lovely helpful lady 👍

😠 I visited the cafe with my 2 year old twins for lunch with friends. Food and service was good until we prepared to leave. We heard shouting coming from the kitchen, then a member of staff seemed to be followed by a woman in a trilby hat (manager?) who continued to shout at the waitress. We were shoc...

🫤 Good selection of products and nice quality, but checkout staff in the supermarket section are rude and biased. They only seem to greet certain clientele, stereotyping at its best. Didn't think I had a sparks card or I needed a bag, no hello, no thank you , no goodbye....
