Overall it was a beautiful day and it all worked out well! Julie was a pleasure to work with from the beginning and Anna was a big help on the day of. We were SO happy to find an indoor venue that was pet friendly. Guests were impressed with the venue and enjoyed themselves. The only issue we had was with the audio system. We were excited to hear that we would have access to it but unfortunately it kept shutting off randomly and had to be at a specific volume level. The staff kept trying to help fix it but it kept happening. Our guests didn't seem to be bothered by it but it was a little frustrating for us. All in all, we were happy to have celebrated at the Mansion.

The James Ward Mansion is stunning! I had passed it countless times over the years but never imagined the hidden gem that was inside. We held my daughter's baby shower there last weekend and all our guests were beyond impressed by the beauty and uniqueness of the space. Having access to the entire mansion for guests to explore helped make our event very special. Julie was incredibly helpful and accommodating from our first meeting right through the day itself. It was a wonderful experience!

I was the Djay for a Wedding this past august weekend The venue is beautiful nice westfield nj neighborhood, parking lots nearby , i did both ceremony and reception. The staff was professional and friendly. Highly recommend

Absolutely loved having my sweet 16 here. The place was beautiful and in a great location. The DJ and catering in the lists they provided were so accommodating and lovely. This was perfect for a “small” party (I had about 35). I would recommend this place to anyone!

What an incredible venue! We just had my bridal shower at The James Ward Mansion this past weekend and everything was impeccable. I'll be recommending this venue to anyone that will listen. Julie and her team made everything a seamless process.

As I previously posted about an experience I had near the James Ward Mansion (but have since removed) I found out that it was in fact not the owners of The James Ward Mansion I interacted with today but instead the V. President of a publicly held company on the stock market called AvalonBay. This building is directly next door to The James Ward Mansion where the altercation I had today happened.

AMAZING!!!!! Magical! Enchanting! Memorable! All of the positive words! Mine and my husband's wedding would not have been possible without the staff at James Ward Mansion. All of my guests had the most wonderful time! All of the staff were attentive and made me feel at ease with every step of the way. I just want to say thank you to Julie for everything she has done for us. Thank you to Anna for being there for anything I needed (even when I didn't know I needed it haha)! If anyone is planning a wedding, THIS IS YOUR VENUE! On top of the amazing staff, this venue is unique and stunning!

The James Ward Mansion is a vision. I cannot thank the Mansion's team enough for making our wedding reception memorable and simply gorgeous. The venue had our guests exploring and taking photos of every inch of the property. And if you plan on having young children attend your event, the upstairs rooms provided an excellent place for them to lay down and/or take a break from the event's festivities. In addition to the glamorous interior of the Mansion, downtown Westfield, NJ provided an excellent backdrop for more photography locations. I highly recommend the James Ward Mansion!
