Wow!! after staying over at other places in Songea eventually tried this hotel on some positive reviews. Well, for starters the management and staff were absolutely wonderful, pleasant and accomodating. Managed to negotiate the price to within my budget and that for a beautiful clean double room with aircon, TV(good channels), comfortable double bed, clean sheets and hot, hot bath/shower. The restaurant stays open until 23;00 and served the most delectable chicken curry, the best in Africa so far, as well as the hugest portion. The menu is really extensive with an excellent variety of dishes. There are many snacks to be found as well, if you're feeling peckish. Breakfast was a super buffet. There is secure parking and also a playground for the kids on the premises. All said, definitely worth 5* and I would not hesitate to stay over again on my return to the town. Well recommended....
