    Rooms and beds are good, the young staff at the front desk are not service-oriented and serious enough though. They regularly make fun of customers when they leave the counter. The bar at the lobby is good and service we received excellent! Although we can't say the same for the "All day dinner restaurant" at the 2nd floor. After welcomed they leave you sitting and waiting. Even after 20 minutes no one came to take our order and drinks, despite of enough personnel being around and only a few table's occupied. They were to busy with their phones or other colleagues. Breakfast buffet was good and enough to choose from. But the same issue here, personnel get together to chat with each other. In my opinion not done in front of customers, again lacking service a hotel should offer. Anyway it's a good hotel no doubts, however you may expect more service from a Holiday Inn!

    Room is cosy, bed comfortable. No funny smell in bathroom. Whole place looked nice and inviting, part of shopping mall and busy touristy streets with lots of good buys and food. Service lifts are limited for this 18 floored hotel, so need to wait for little especially at peak hours. Big surprise is indoor heated swimming pool and its of good size. No duty lifeguard, someone is in charge of fitness room and pool together. overall pleasant stay.

    Leaves a lot to be desired, not anywhere near the IHG standard of hotels in Europe / US. Breakfast is mainly oriental. no real issue with that, however the European options were very poor in quality, cheeses and cooked meats when available were dry and shrivelled up, generally very poor quality. Room ( I had an executive room), really poor room, old and very tired. Most of the time the club lounge was CLOSED, and when open what was on offer was very poor. Bar, when you could get someone to serve you, it was OK, only problem was, half the time no one seemed bothered on the check in to get someone over to serve drinks. Gym and Pool, without these the overall rating would have been a 1star, good facilities, nice big pool.

    You have to pay your full stay upfront plus deposit. Unlike what is mentionned at check in the deposit is not returned at check out but later on if you pay by card... Swimming pool is not available, the open time of fitness room is reduced versus website and you need to register at the reception before. The breakfast is average with a few option. The room are ok even if the bath tub in mine was not possible to close making it impossible to take a bath.
