I saw a reel on Instagram raving about this Spa and I had to go. I am an English speaker so I followed the instructions on their Instagram account to book my appointment thru What’s App. It was super simple and the response back was quick. They do ask for a 50,000 won deposit to be paid via PayPal which came to $38 USD. I booked a package 2 which is a full body massage and facial. When I arrived at the location (which is in the 4th floor) I upgraded my facial to their lift option. The room I was in had a relaxing atmosphere and was very clean. The service was absolutely fantastic! My masseuse was Joann (English name I believe) and she was fantastic. Best massage I’ve ever had and the detail and stretch incorporated in the massage was wonderful. The best part was there was no point where she wasn’t massaging something even when waiting for my face mask, she massaged my abdomen and décolleté. Better service and attention than what I’ve gotten on my facials in the States. I will be back before my trip is over. Thank you so much!

I received an amazing Sensitive Facial package. The treatment was tailored to my needs and the results are fantastic. My facial specialist, Rosalyn was attentive to my body’s response and had kind energy. The unexpected massage was productive and will encourage healing to my neck and shoulders. When I come to Korea again, Spa Gogyeol is on my list of must do again.

I enjoyed a full body massage at the Spa Gogyeol, and it was truly delightful. The treatment was superb, and the staff were incredibly friendly. All information was provided in English and the massage therapist made sure I’m ok with the intensity, making the experience even more enjoyable. This place is super relaxing! We came after being super jet lagged and really got to decompress here. They first asked us about where we wanted to focus on for our massage and then looked at our skin to recommend us different types of facials (I chose anti-aging). I felt pretty inflamed / swollen after the long flight and pointed it out - the massage was extremely thorough and afterwards I felt so much better. Would highly recommend this place for a massage and facial!

I had an amazing spa facial experience at Spa Gogyeol and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, my therapist Olivia was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I opted for the detox facial and was blown away by the massage that came with it. Olivia applied great pressure and it was so relaxing! Not only was the massage fantastic, but my face feels incredibly refreshed. I mentioned that I wanted to brighten and lift my complexion, my skin now looks and feels amazing. The environment at Spa Gogyeol was also very luxurious. From the comfortable massage table to the soft lighting and calming music, I felt like I was in a true oasis of relaxation. Overall, I had an incredible experience at this spa and will definitely be returning for another facial in the future.

This was a fantastic experience. I have had Thai and Shiatsu massages before and this one knocks it out of the park. They were very English friendly and they tailored each part of the experience to my specific skin and body needs after a quick assessment. Definitely recommend to anyone in Korea. I paid about $120 for a two hour experience this was definitely worth the amount!

My friend and I had the most wonderful experience at spa Gogyeol. We also were running late and they were very understanding. We quickly went through the evaluation per person to go through concerns and various treatments. I highly recommend the lifting one in addition to the gogyeol package. Overall experience was wonderful. Ending on a high note with tea and traditional snacks. I’ll be coming back on my next visit to Korea.

Very clean and therapeutic spa place! The service was great, massage was well done and made me feel super relaxed. Jemma was attentive to all my needs (I took spa package 1) and I had an acne outbreak which she quickly solved with the Repairing facial treatment. Thank you, I will be back!

Came to the spa when visiting Korea. The service was excellent. Starting from communication to the treatment itself. After consultation, we decided on repairing treatment and could not be happier. Olivia was amazing, and I felt really relaxed and taken care of. Staff speak English so easy for foreigners to enjoy.

I am glad I chose spa Gogyeol amongst all the luxurious spas in Gangnam area. The place is very clean and Olivia is very friendly and she knows the right pressure for an extremely relaxing and revitalizing face massage. I totally enjoyed the experience!

Spa Gogyeol was amazing! I got the upper body with facial (90min). I booked by WhatsApp in English. The massage and facial techniques are unique (compared to Japanese, Swedish, Thai, and American) and seemed focused on releasing tension and increasing lymphatic system flow. The product quality was excellent as well. Very glad with my experience.

A boutique spa with beautiful interior. Very clean environment. Emily welcomed me with the warmest smile. We went through the treatment program. I picked the total body and face combo. It was such a relaxing experience. The body massage was on point and at the right pressure I enjoyed! Would definitely come back next time I visit here!

Foreigner friendly environment. They can communicate very well in english. Tried the 70mins Lifting session which includes facial, neck, should and bust massage. My therapist Olivia is very skillful and making the entire experience very pleasant.

Finest traditional Korean spa, highly recommend! Relaxing experience from beginning to end. I am so glad our hotel concierge recommended this spot and we were able to get reservations last minute for our group of 6. Easy to get to from public transportation. What a lovely experience! From the start, Olivia treated us with care, finding out about our skin and skincare needs and concerns, and matching us with the right treatment. The facility is beautiful and tasteful and the treatment beds are heated and cozy. My friend and I got the anti-aging facial which included the facial as well as neck, shoulder, scalp, and hand massage. It was heavenly. At the end we were treated to a traditional Korean snack and tea. Olivia has over 10 years of experience and teaches students at a skincare academy, so you know you are in good hands. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, and will gladly come back.

I found this place on Naver had the best reviews. I see why they have 5 stars. It’s clean, service is excellent and the ambiance is nice and quiet. I got the package 2 service which includes 60 mins repair facial and 60 mins body. Ellen (우진) greeted me and went through all the services we were going to do. I had few procedures done prior to coming here so she was very accommodating. I was in a room with a water bed. I was told each room is slightly different and has different types of themes. The products were from Swiss and the aroma scent was super soothing and relaxing. Ellen started off with body and she hit every area. She knew my back was stiff and needed extra work. She then worked through the facial. While I had the facial pack on, she went through my abdomen and my chest. I felt like a new person after the massage. I’ll definitely come back for another massage! Thank you, Ellen!

Booked a couples massage here a couple weeks before my trip and it was so so worth it. The environment was beautiful, great ambiance and the massage pressure was perfect! It was so hard to stay awake because it felt so good. I did package 2 and went with a facial upgrade to the lifting facial and my face was glowing afterwards. The tea and snacks was a definite added plus. Overall it was amazing and I will definitely try to come back next trip!

I got the anti-aging package with the full body massage and it was fantastic. I chose that package because during intake, they asked me questions about my skin and my body, and we determined that the anti-aging option had the better ingredients that are more appropriate for my acne-prone skin. I also selected the areas of focus for the massage here, and my technician Ellen had excellent English and really paid attention to what I said. During the massage, she really worked at my knots in the shoulder area and did it with such excellent and varying technique that I was never in pain even though I asked for deep pressure and these are huge knots. I would even say she had the best technique I’ve ever experience in the numerous massages I’ve gotten throughout my life. The facial was also very comfortable, and my skin was indeed very glowy after, and even the next day I found my makeup was going on much smoother than normal— absolutely no flaking or dryness.

Massage and Korean facial therapy at Spa Gogyeol is an art. Very impressed with the technique and meticulous care. I chose the two hour facial and massage package with an anti-aging facial upgrade. Lily was my therapist and she was excellent. My skin was in desperate need of extra hydration after all the travel and she recommended the bamboo hydrating face products. The two hours flew by, and this was one of the best treatments I’ve experienced. All the neck and shoulder tension from the long flight to Seoul was gone by the time the treatment was over. Amazing. The spa itself is lovely, with streamlined and tasteful design. The snack and tea at the end is a nice touch. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back. The therapists and staff speak English; this is a foreigner friendly establishment. Recommend booking through Instagram DM, requires PayPal deposit to lock in the appointment.

One of the most relaxing and effective massage and facials I have had. Recommend here if you need a good stretch and thorough massage during your stay in Korea or become a regular if you luckily live here! Package 2 includes both a full massage and a facial, I recommend you come in the morning to start a relaxing day 🩷 After the massage I had Rosalyn explain which parts she concentrated on and brief recommendations to take care of my body- thank you! Next time I think I will book through the Kakao channel and pay the deposit by PayPal which is required when you book.
