First of all, the location of this establishment is absolutely amazingly strategic. You will experience absolutely no inconvenience finding anything you need. The customer service is quite incredible, although it's that typical Korean-speed customer service. I pulled up for valet and was surrounded immediately by 5 reception personnel before I even had a chance to put my mask on. If you aren't used to Korea, it could overwhelm you. It does overwhelm me time to time, even though I spent the first 14 years of my life in Korea. The receptionists were incredibly helpful. My Korean isn't very fluent, but they were patient with me and explained my way through some of the COVID related documents. The breakfast is very tasty. I wouldn't call it a 5 star experience, but it is modest, has a wide variety, and like anywhere else in the hotel, the service is top notch. The general cleanliness of the entire building really satisfies me. Not a speck of dust to be seen. This hotel deserves 10 stars.

The revamped decor was tastefully done, rooms are cosy in prime location. Service of hotel staff are constantly great and dedicated. Plenty of transport modes, malls, shops and kids friendly grounds nearby. Only setback is breakfast costs per pax is high at USD 50. Bathtub is smaller sized compared to average. Will be even better if suite comes with kids amenities.

I recommend this hotel! It was our first time in Seoul. Idk where to start!! This hotel was amazing, the service is great, clean, and they had many amenities. We often utilized their one day pass to the gym/hot spring, they have 7/11 upstairs for last minute munchies. Insane bathroom and room technology (I miss the heated toilet). Maid was nice. When we chose not get our room cleaned, she caught us going out our room and asked if we needed complimentary water. They cleaned our room perfectly each time. Convenient location, subway is underground plus shopping mall is attached. Plentiful restaurants/cafe located within the mall. You can never be bored! After we checked out, we were able to leave our luggage in a secured room before our time to leave the airport. Definitely a 5 star hotel. I would love to come back!

All the staff are very kind. I visited a convenience store because I was hungry, but nearby convenience stores are not open 24 hours a day. But the room service was open 24 hours a day. It takes some time for the food to come out. But it was delicious and I could eat comfortably. If I come to Korea again next time, I want to visit.

Old hotel, not the best but overall I satisfied for business trip

We stayed at Lotte World Hotel for 3 nights. Hotel is across the Lotte Tower, connected to Lotte World Adventure and underground passage to Lotte Mall. I love the sauna, indoor pool and the gym. Room is a bit small for the price but the amenities are good and the location is perfect. There are a lot of decent restaurants to eat inside the Lotte Mall.

Friendly and clean, updated... Small closet, though.... Came in way early before allowed check in, the front desk allowed to hold the luggages and let us use the gym and the sauna... It was refreshing..

Stayed here with my family in Aug'23. Everything was great. We took the family package which included the theme park tickets and all of us had a blast. It was pricey but worthy. And don't forget to try their breakfast buffet at La Seine. Truly one of the best in Asia!

Great location as it was next to the theme park. Room is spacious and clean, no bed bug found (since korea announced the infestation of bed bugs that period). There are plenty of shopping malls within walking distance too.

Our fav stay in Seoul ✌️Stayed in early Dec with my family and were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service from the porter to the reception staff. Staff at all areas were very attentive and gave assistance. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The views were amazing and very luxurious. Breakfast was good too. The awesome connection to Lotte mall. Lotte world , Lotte department and Jamisil underground shopping is just amazing.we didn’t even go out of the area for 3 days :) The porter assisted us with our luggage to the Airport Limousine station. Thank you again. We were very sad when we left :( Will surely return. Shopping at Lotte department and service was great too . Thank you for the best hotel experience in Seoul . This was our 5th hotel stay in our 10 day trip .

Large and rather expensive 5 start hotel in the area. Very practical location. The hotel lacks a bit on services, and is a bit old fashioned, no lounge seating area or cafe readily accessible which seems is in renovation.

Excellent experience at Lotte Hotel World. The room and bath was very nice; clean, comfortable, quiet, big enough, and well equipped. The breakfast buffet at La Seine was mind boggling. During our stay my friends and I had a competition of how many different dishes we could sample. We also ate at the Loungs a couple times and found it to be excellent; great service, excellent food, very personable staff. The hotel is connected to the Lotte World department store and the shopping mall, which is enormous. There must be close to 100 different restaurants in the mall. Also part of the complex is a connection to the subway system, which makes getting around Seoul incredibly easy. If/when I go back to Seoul I would not consider another hotel.

Amazing hotel with excellent service and view of the city. I could see the LOTTE World Tower from my room. There was also a view of the city. There was also a convenient direct entrance and exit to the theme park and mall.

Great hotel at a great place in Seul. Gang Nam area, metro lines 2 & 8. Superb.

I stayed here for a night with my family, enjoyed the early check-in. The hotel is well located and connected to the department store. The room were clean and had a good view of the lake. The check-in was smooth however the waiting area is limited, it was odd to see the reception area widely spreaded out with only few seats for waiting at the lobby area. The service here was professional and fast! I enjoyed my stay overall.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this hotel for 2 nights stay. Location is absolutely wonderful and loved the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff members. The swimming pool and sauna is a true gem of this hotel that's included with the stay as well.

I stayed there for two nights two rooms when i came to Taiwan i got a mail from hotel to inform me i left my t-shirt there the staff help me to sent it back and track the package to make sure i received it it is so sweet and considerable i strongly recommend the hotel for everyone

Good. But it wasn't sound proof. You would hear noises from other room like you are in the same room. Buffet(La seine) is fine but not so great.

I spent ~$70 pp for the ticket + 5 magic passes through Klook. Klook's entry to the theme park was very smooth and easy, but the hotel's deal is very attractive because of the short cut through the hotel and the one time reentry privilege ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 7 Eleven on site ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unexpectedly, there's a large airport bus running all day from the hotel door. According to the airport bus company website, this line is running temporarily. I feel lucky. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very happy I chose this hotel

Best location, many shopping malls are just next door, best experience, near lotte world too. Kids love it too. Breakfast was good, but they dun provide service for any birthday or anniversary.

Staff are wonderful and helpful. Response to requests is almost immediate. Proximity to the theme park and shopping mall is a tremendous plus. Would like to see access to some late night restaurants, especially after the theme park closes.

I have attended International Conference held during Nov 28 to 1 Dec. in Sheraton Walker Hill. This conference held biannually in Seoul normal attendees are around 1,800 to 2,000. This year was half of the number though. Family with attendees were assigned to stay at Lotte Hotel World Jamsil, this year. Conference organizers provided us the information about the group conference room booking rate for one week before and after the conference. This group rate, what I understand is agreed much before between sales representation of hotels and conference organizers, that is why conference attendees provided written information. When I and my husband checked in on 8:00 pm. 26 Nov 2022. A male clerk in front desk advised other booking rate than I got informed, but we checked in anyway, we believe we can fix this misinformation of the clerks, because we have written information from the conference organizer. After little chat with some of conference attendees, I enquired front desk about the room rate again, one day before check-out. Same male clerk responded in Korean to me. My husband is an English speaker, but he could not understand him. "it is confirmed rate from sales manager. But, It is weekend rate, if your disagree with the rate, get your organizer, not with front desk. His English was pretty bad for front desk information staff working at International hotel and attitude was pretty rude, perhaps not respectful to group booking stayers. But for sure, he will be very rude to local Korean people as well. He was not informative, not helpful for hotel customers, and even with rude attitude "As I said this rate to you, this room rate will be fixed. I will not consult to senior manager or whoever other associate reps, in the hotel. So you are the one who bring your organizer's referral or opinion" Same night of 30 Nov, I contacted a female clerk again, her response was she does not know, but there is message saying that this price is confirmed and fixed by sales reps. So she will have sales reps to call our room, she asked about our sleep time and wake-up time. But it did not happened until we check out. If she could not reach one, she should have informed us about her efforts at least. This female staff looked not so well trained form the team. In the midday when I checked out, a front desk clerks still said it is confirmed price, they cannot change the system! What a poor excuse on the contrary to their inefficiency and rude attitude. If the clerk has lower level of data entry access, if required, by permission of supervisor or other team consultation, they can fix new data. This customer has agreed written information between hotel sales reps and conference organizer. But this was not the case of system fixed room rate, as soon as the organizer call the front desk staff, she straight away fixed the rate with the contact details of the organizer. What I found issues of front team in Lotte Hotel World 1. Integrity issue: "I cannot change the system data, this is fixed by somebody else" 2. Authority Issue: "But, I do not want to discuss with this to supervisor or whoever within the Hotel" 3. Misinformation: "there is group booking information, but I do not want to read thoroughly and I do not care to deliver misinformation, as long as I over-charge it is better than under-charge. 4. Authority and Rude Manner Issue "Because I said this rate to you, this is fixed rate in system and this is confirmed price from manager. I saw the written information from the organizer's,, but you group booking stayers has to put the organizer's on the phone to me. Otherwise you will pay the room rate what I said. This is my sole authority" I hope this unpleasant customer service skills should be revised, if possible, corrected. I still do not understand why Lotte Hotel World has given the powerful sole authority to the male front desk clerk not even a higher level of position.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in 40 years of traveling. The room was immaculate, the food was exquisite and the staff was very professional and friendly. I would suggest that if anyone has a chance to get to Seoul ,stay at this facility.

We stayed over the weekend. The rooms are a bit smaller then I expected. But, we enjoyed our stay there. The location is great and easy to get to everything just a walk away. And the metro station is easy to access. If we are back in the area we would stay again.

It is quite pricey but a very nice hotel. Even though the room itself wasn't as nice as the rest of the place. Very friendly staff and nice view of lotte world and very close to lotte world tower. Go online for a cheaper room and unlimited mini bar access.

After years of debating to start reviewing, here is my first one! I stayed at the hotel about 1 month back and it was excellent. I felt the rooms could use an update to a more modern style. I think I was expecting modern and got classic instead. The location is excellent. You cross the road and you are at the mall and the tower. There is park as well with a lake. I wanted something a bit more modern so I moved across the street to Signiel at Lotte Tower. That will be my second review.

Hotel has been recently refurbished and their rooms are lovely. Service, as usual from Lotte, is top class, they don't mess around.

Recently renovated. Nice, spatious Hotel room with an amazing wall mounted mini washing machine which made our stay so much easier being able to wash clothes nightly. The hotel is also attached to Lotte World Adventure, Lotte department store and Hi Mart... Very convenient. Also attached to the underground train system. Highly recommended.
