Garak market is a wholesale fruits and vegetables market. It's an older market, and so it's a bit gritty. The market has a great retail seafood market with excellent fresh and live seafood. The seafood is well recommended and provides good value. The seafood is fresh and there is also lots of live seafood. Well worth a visit for seafood lovers.

I highly recommend this shop(garak fishcenter mainfloor B 05) for foreigner to enjoy sasimi and sushi. There is seldom cheating. Believable young staff(rather than other shop) is very kind and professional. Variety pack price is 50,000won It makes me happy. This enough to enjoy 4~6pax.

Looking for a wholesale market in Korea? Well head to Garak Market! They offer local products at very affordable price and if you're lucky enough, you'll get some free service or additional products. They have variety of products from wet to dry goods. Their wet section was amazing and products were really fresh! I'd love to go back here to buy fresh meat! I bought some kiwi for two thousand won and I got 10pcs, isn't it amazing? This is very close to Garak Market station.

Most of the seafood items over-price. Tourist spot ! Not bad as commented, we enjoy the place too. Dont forget to visit 2F - second floor, good deal with all local stuffs

Had some local bring us here to this fish market. You pick your seafood downstairs and send it upstairs for it to be made at the different restaurants to choose from. Everything is super fresh ofcourse! What a delightful experience. Would have never been able to find this place by ourselves!

not the biggest seafood wholesale but not as crowded and firefly staffs. they have all kind of seafood and some unique ones: sea pineapple, raw octopus, Alaskan crab. a nearby restaurant can help you cook all the good food at a reasonable price.

Garak Market is the biggest wholesale market in South Korea. It is where the different agricultural products of farmers from different provinces of the country were delivered for auction. The products were safe and of good quality. The market atmosphere is good for shoppers. It is clean and well organized. You can find different products in this market from fresh to processed. One of the best market I've visited so far. Kudos to the management.

You could buy fresh products with decent price if you are okay to spend your time on foot.

A huge seafood market with amazing prices and a huge variety of seafoods - fish, seashells, crabs, squids, seaweeds and all kinds of seafoods that are not familiar to foreigners! You should go and visit :) Be brave and try some too.

Was very hectic due to upcoming Korean Thanksgiving holidays but a good market to buy fruits, vegetables and seafood at reasonable prices compared to major supermarkets.

Huge huge huge, would be an understatement……it is huge and till now the cheapest place that have come across to buy vegetables and fruits in Seoul. The place is located just off Jamsil and is easily accessible via bus, subway or a taxi. It is a wholesale market and one of the best places to shop for fruits and vegetables and also sea food. There is also a sea food indoor Garak mall. The place is a heaven for non vegetarian and vegetarian alike.

One of the best fresh sea n agricultural product in Seoul or Korea. U can buy live fish or similar to make sashimi urself. Or buy cheaper deadstock of variety of fishes n others. Not very cheap but cheaper n fresher than supermarket. But check price of 2~3 shops to bargain. Oops, sometimes they give discount.
