I am so glad I found this place by accident! So cosy, as if you are eating in someone’s home. The food was excellent. I had traditional Ukrainian borscht followed by Ukrainian cheesecakes. Absolutely delicious and better value than the restaurants in the main tourist areas. Service was genuinely friendly and warm. Slava Ukraini! ☺️

Absolutely worth visiting. You may need to wait a bit longer, but the quality of food is amazing, all made from fresh. The size of starter and main was so huge, that I had to ask for doggy bag! The atmosphere is very friendly, food is made with love. Good wine as well. Highly recommended. Slawa Ukrainie!

A gem of a restaurant, it feels like you're in someone's living room. Food comforting, homely and incredibly tasty. Recommend if you're looking for large portions of yummy food.

Very unfriendly staff, cold food. We told the staff our food was cold and they asked if they could just reheat it in an oven - they did remake the dish in the end but it was still not that warm or good. The staff made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Would not recommend!

Great place to have meal. The staff was very polite and friendly, they suggested a great place to sit and tasty tea. Highly recommend cherry dumplings, they are so delicious with sour cream.

I’m constantly visiting this place since September 2021 and place is always surprising my by tasty food. I was enjoying much more delicious food here, though advising borsch, dumplings, “homestyle salo”. The staff is really friendly, food is amazing. Tried also to order home delivery - no issues.

Really a great experience! The dishes are prepared really with love and dedication, like really pieces of art. Victoria is very nice and her service is just great! 😊

The food was delicious, even tried some Ukrainian red wine and it was pretty nice. It was very hot inside on the upper floor, no air conditioning. The service was rushed and did not feel so friendly, shame though as the food was excellent.

My first experience of Ukrainian food and all I can say is "wow". Absolutely delicious, be aware there is a wait after you order but the food is freshly cooked and sourced. Definitely try the cornmeal porridge.

Good Ukrainian food. Especially the Pelmeni (dumplings with meat). The Borscht soup was good as well. The waitress was nice, but I don't understand why she is the only waitress. She should get help. Didn't like that our table was on an uneven part of the road. Also, there were some nagging mosquitoes in the evening.

Great restaurant tucked away just off the main street in Gdansk. The food was delicious and at a great price, topped off with great service. The restaurant was very homely and had and also had outside seating which we made the most of. Would definitely reccomend to anyone!

Came for a Ukrainian meal and really enjoyed it. Everything was really tasty, full of flavours. From the borscht to Chicken Kyiv to the periogies/varenyky. It was a quiet evening so was not really vibey but overall great traditional Ukrainian decor and lovely staff and great Ukrainian meal options with excellent Ukrainian pierogies.

Such delicious food. Absolutely recommend the deruny po huculsku, especially if you're in need of a hearty meal. Only problem is that service was pretty slow, but I would say it is worth the wait.

Some years ago we used to come here often to eat eastern European food. It was great. Now the food is Ukrainian and still is a great deal. Service is good and friendly. Stroganoff beautiful plate and price very reasonable to be in center of Gdansk . See you soon!

Food was okay, not the best I had. Only when I tried ordering mulled wine, I mistakenly got regular red wine, because Waitress didn’t really speak Polish or English. Still recommend

~20 euros for a full meal. Traditional Ukrainian restaurants with wooden tables and Ukrainian atmosphere. Run by Ukrainian people. THE GOOD - The food is authentic, fresh - Big portions - Sauces - Vegetarian options THE BAD - The music is pop, not matching too much the atmosphere - You may not manage to finish the food - One day it was really crowded and we had to wait really long to get the dishes, two of us got the food after half hour that I got it. - They forgot to bring me the cream sauce BOTTOM LINE I like this place, next time I will order one dish for two.

The food is insane, the staff is very nice and they really know Ukrainian cuisine. This is my new favorite place on the map of Gdansk

What a gem 💎! I ordered the Solyanka Soup and the Stroganoff Beef, both the starter and the meal were quite tasteful and very well presented. The waiter was polite, the restaurant has a big terrace but also a nice room upstairs with A/C. Thanks again :) EDIT: I came back in the evening the same day to try their Pelmeni with beetroot sauce 😋 I don’t have a nice picture for this because I took it away but it was also delicious !

Family restaurant of Ukrainian cuisine. home atmosphere Ukraine national style. A varied menu. Ukrainian beer, wine 🍷 and liqueurs of our own production. Ordered Wuhu in Odessa, Galushki in Poltava and Deruny Check for about $ 20 Very pleasantly surprised. Served by Anna she speaks excellent English. Recommended

If you love great and autentic tastes this place is a must! One of the best food experience!
