Now this! Is the place to stay. Take any criticizing comments below with a grain of salt! The out side is very well kept up for a dated motel, and the inside is absolutely clean, gorgeous and quiet. Look no further than this, the owner should definitely charge more than they are already charging. You won't find a more secure parking lot in Santa Cruz, cameras everywhere and there's an option to park right outside your room. Laundry facilities are dated and there's no gym but who uses a hotel gym anyways? Definitely see what I'm talking about for yourself.

Really reasonably priced motel for whatnot has to offer. I enjoyed my suite with fireplace and jacuzzi tub for only 195 in the summer! When other places were charging 3-400 for just a regular room!

Gonna give it a 5 because they are trying to make sure your stay is nice. And really change the bad reviews. Girl who runs the front office is so nice and helpful.

Quaint, old Adobe charm which reminds me of old Santa Cruz. It needs new carpet and it's inexpensive. However, I would stay there again, and again if luxury isn't a priority that trip.

Beds were hard, the pillows were lumpy, and cleanliness was suspect. It seemed clean, but we found trash from previous guests on the bed and floor. We weren't planning in staying in the area but had to and everywhere else was taken - the only reason we stayed

The woman at the desk made me pay for two days because I checked in shortly before the day is suppose to begin. She did not offer to prorate the price, and not only that but the motel was empty. I had no choice because I needed somewhere to stay. I felt strong armed. Not happy with that encounter.

Manager was rude, broken english thats hard to understand. Refused to put her cell phone down because she was on an "important phone call" yet she had time to put the phone down to tell us she could help us right now. We already had the room reserved, she just needed to take a couple minutes to run the credit card. This was also during normal business hours on a monday when she is being payed to tend to customers. Horrible PR skills, she needs to be retrained in customer service.

I was so excited to be staying in Santa Cruz. But couldn't even sleep because the beds we're so hard, that I ended up sleeping on the floor. The pillows we're lumpy and flat. It has great potential, not at the current status. I would never recommend. I should have just slept in my car for the 175 I wasted.

Rude and plain awful. They refused to provide me with extra blankets to sleep on the floor, and refused to upgrade our room (we were willing to pay). Very passive aggressive and unpleasant. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY.

The room was spacious. Had a little couch and a T.V. Really liked it was within walking distance of Moes Alley!! She said some rooms have jacuzzis.
