Visiting Belgium from Australia, we went to Hasselt for the Christmas markets. Came across Quetzal cafe. Actually, we went in to get out of the rain. We asked for “just a hot chocolate” the guy said “we are not just hot chocolate, we ARE hot chocolate. He was so right. We had the BEST hot chocolate. If you want to experience a ‘true’ hot chocolate, you need to go to this place. They really are passionate about all things chocolate.

If you are looking for a delicious and cute place as a chocolate and coffee lover, this is the place to be! The staff are some of the sweetest of all and I love that the owner is very passionate about what he is doing.

Best lava cake ever! I also had the brownie Sunday with bananas and it was excellent. Great staff and service too. I am a chocolate connoisseur and I give this the highest possible rating!
