Enjoyed our stay here. Very nice property. Our room was in 8th floor and had amazing view from the balcony. Room was moderately clean (dusty inside the closet, otherwise clean) provided bottle water, amenities (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion), tea, coffee. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC could be cooler, temperature is controlled centrally; balcony lock was broken (we didn’t need the lock as room was in 8th floor). Had complementary breakfast buffet, plenty of options - breads, cereals, eggs, fruits and hot dishes; all items were delicious. Had lunch in Soho Lounge (the poolside) Fish (42 TND) & Marinated Chicken (32 TND), dinner - shrimp salad (24 TND), Shish Tabouk (34 TND) food was good. Staffs are very friendly and nice, not everyone speaks English but they understand body language, had no problems in communication. Enjoyed the pool area, comfortable beds, couches and sofas. I recommend this hotel and would love to come back. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

Sousse Palace Hotel&SPA is a huge hotel of 4 buildings with a pleasant national flavor. The premises are decorated with bas-reliefs and paintings on historical themes. There is also an exposition of the national costume. Despite its impressive size, everyone will find a place for a comfortable seclusion. Standard room with an area of 25 sq m accommodates everything you need and even more. Beautiful furniture thoughtful design elements with a French accent lace on furniture bedspreads and finishes. The territory of the hotel is small, but very well thought out, so it will be convenient for you to move from one restaurant to another, from the indoor pool to the outdoor one, and then to the beach. All free space is occupied by a lawn with wooden flooring. You will not get your feet dirty while walking. The beach is small, fenced with a wicker fence on both sides. There are covered tents and parasols with sun loungers. The restaurant deserves special attention: buffet meals and all-inclusive systems. My God, what miracles did the local chefs do! The visitors of the restaurant froze with delight, at first they clicked cameras on their mobile phones and only then they started eating. Everything is incredibly tasty. Just look at the pictures and you will understand. It so happened that I celebrated my birthday at this hotel. And it exceeded all expectations: wonderful gifts from the hotel, a fruit basket and fresh roses, pleasant surprises in my room. Thanks to all the hotel staff and personally to Mr. Khabib for their attention. Thanks to the lovely girl Halima from the reception for the secrets of tun cuisine and "the peppercorn" that I took with me. Thanks to these people, I had a holiday for a whole week. I dream of returning to this hotel again.

Cockroach in the room and no animations at all. Boring hotel. Bad choice of alcohol and bartenders are grumpy. Drink served in small paper cups or not at all (bad service at meal times). Not bad food but there's no way this hotel deserves 5 stars.

It's not by any means a 4 star hotel. By European stardards it would not even qualify for 3. Good - nice position, close enough to the city - Nice views on the seaside rooms - Great beach right out of the hotel - Nice pool Bad - very basic and worn out room - Very dirty dining. - Some unpolite personal - Bad food, can hardly eat anything on most meals - Ques for everything - Everything seems done in a way to stop you from using it. Small plates that you have to wait for. Just one waiter so you have to stay in que to get a glass of anything. No table service. - Slow elevators, takes forever to change floors - terrible wi fi signal and speed. We could only use it around the reception.

Positives : - Location : the hotel is right in the heart of the city. You can walk for a few minutes and find yourself in the Old Town, the Marina etc. - Food : we only had 1 breakfast before we left, fairly decent but nothing crazy about it. - Facilities : though we did not stay to try it, the pools looked big enough and fairly maintained. We did not visit the gym, spa or other areas. Negatives : - The hotel was NOT clean. From the corridors to the rooms, you could see and smell dust everywhere. The bed sheets were clearly used and not cleaned before. The rugs and sofas i. the rooms were filled with dust. It was beyond tolerable. - Services : we arrived to an empty room with nothing in the mini bar, nothing besides a small bottle of water for 2 persons to share. Then we were charged for every bottle of water we asked for. - Entertainment : entertainment systems are way too old for the 21st century. - Staff : fairly responsive but lacks the kindness, it won’t hurt them if they smile more .. Conclusion : I am not sure how the hotel is ranked as a 5-star-hotel, it can get away with a 2.5 star ranking thanks to its location. It’s a scandal that a 5-star- place is so dirty.

It was very very expensive 285 dinar something like 90€ for a 5min steaming room a 5 min Hammam wash 10min Jakuzi and 1 hour massage. The steamingroom was ok far away from good. I dont know what they think about Hammam but that was completly terrible for the amount of money you pay and the Jakuzi was very poor too. I have to say the massage was good thats why i gave 2 Stars. In my opinion if you want to get robbed go to the market and throw your purse into the masses. You might help someone with it who really needs it but so t go to Soussse Palace „Spa“ 😂😂

The hotel has everything to be a great hotel. If only the carpet would be clean in the hall ways it would get 5/5... Everything else is clean...

Good hotel in general...room was ok (not that fancy for a 5-star hotel). Restaurant and food were absolutely amazing, delicious food. Outside pool is small. Indoor pool was nice, it has jacuzzi and massaging water flows. Staff were polite. Reception area is nice too. This hotel has a la carte restaurant on the roof as well.

How can an Islamic country ban the wearing of the hijab in a swimming pool? This is disgusting. I have not seen these things in non-Muslim countries

Well, I had the opportunity to stay for a week in the Sousse Palace hotel. Upon my arrival, I was already charged extra if I wanted a room with a view to the sea! Although it seemed a good idea to fall asleep to the waves of the Mediterranean Sea, the fact that next to the Hotel's beach was a public beach, with local people enjoying the water up late in the middle of the night, added a bit of salt and pepper to the sound of the waves... The room was decent, the cleaning staff did their job properly, but I would expect to have at least a bottle of water in my empty mini fridge, on a daily basis, if I opted for an All Inclusive service upon booking. The other staff, except the reception, were not very friendly and I was quite surprised when I was on occasions saluted with a "hello" and a smile in the morning on my way to breakfast. The buffet was quite well equipped and prepared with a decent variety of food and cuisine, but the fact that I could only drink instant coffee in the morning left me disappointed. Moreover, in the lounge area, where I could opt for drinks and local beverages, the coffee was also instant coffee. I also noticed a discrepancy of how the staff serviced and helped the guests in the restaurant, if a guest used English to request something in contrast if the guest was able to speak French. So, I quickly updated my French language skills to get a more amiable service in the restaurant. Sometimes I have been frustrated when at 6:30 I still had to wait for the omelette making staff to make his appearance, although the breakfast was served starting at 6:00 a.m. One time, I went to the gym facility to work out. Maybe 10 years ago, this gym was a great place to work out, but now, I can hardly call it rudimentary. The equipment was old and not everything was working properly. The area that was covered with rubber tiles for adherence and grip, was indeed heavily abrised. And the absence of air conditioning made me swimming in my own sweat during the lifting workout. So, be advised and be prepared dear guests! For the management, I can only recommend making a trip to a 5 star Turkish Resort and take some notes!

The staff is kind and location is super, but unfortunately, the breakfast is poor, service is slow, and covers are worn out. Not recommended in its current status and definitely not a 5 stars standard.

I stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed the experience. The room had a lovely view and was clean and had everything needed. The staff were really helpful and friendly - they organised a PCR test in my room for me, always there to open doors and give advice. The location is great - close to the beach and the medina. I enjoyed both the hammam and the 12th floor restaurant as well. The only negative was that they do not allow any food or drink to be brought into the hotel - not even bottles of water. Considering I was only given 1 small bottle of water for the entire time I was there, this seemed unreasonable. But other than that, I highly recommend.

A lot could be written in a detailed review, since there are some small flaws, but in general the hotel is ok. It all depends on what you are looking for. The food is superb, as is the cleanliness of the rooms. What I have to emphasize and why I am writing a review is the service of the staff, and the best of all is the wonderful Mehdi from the reception. Warm, kind, always smiling, and if someone fails or turns a deaf ear to your problems, Mehdi is there to fix it. He definitely deserves a promotion and a raise. The waiters, the beach maintenance guys are great too.

, Good Morning … As you know, always the goal of any hotel satisfies customers need and want which world wide regulations but what happens with last 3 nights never happen with us even in 4,3,2,1 star hotels. If the management in the hotel inform us from beginning or at least before extending the other nights will be fine . But they promised and we paid immediately without any writing paper because we trust as all of them Arab and understand the meaning of promise .. Also , all this rules of hotel must be mentioned in the : - booking And other booking Apps and keep picture clean to the customers AC will closed from October till ………. The period but we booked coz it’s mentioned air condition available and work . Also , once it’s not working should be clear and informed there unable to fix but not says with hour will fixed …. Even if not fixed should apologise as kind of respects or as country culture… Just to let the management know . The all room items which is complementary for customers not provided unless we asked . Which very Shem for 5 star hotel .. for example : room shoes , Rope , bathroom items . Amazing thing we enter room with 2 adults they keep 1 bottle of water (500 ml) without adding… unbelievable 3 nights with 1 bottle I don’t think any human can stay alive with this situation.. I can’t believe my self I am in 5 star hotel. Hopefully this will not happen in the future coz customer in the hand Bette than thousands of non confirmed customers … My self honestly never recommend and will deleted this hotel from my favourite 5 star hotel. My plan of stay here to good deal and to ask about corporate deal because next visit will be Business visit

Let me start off by saying that I’m still residing in the hotel at the time of writing this review. I was waiting for a few things to pan out(or not) to see how this review was going to go. We were welcomed and led to our room on the ground floor. The room looked nice and seemed clean but had a moldy musty basement like smell, a smell which was prevalent in the closets, so much so that we couldn’t unpack into the closets. We waited a whole day to see if the smell will go away with the ventilation working, but it didn’t, and we had to move rooms, which the staff was kind enough to give us. We moved to a new room, which luckily smelled really nice and we were happy with it at first, only to find out a bit later that the air conditioning does not work. We asked reception to fix it in the morning. They said they will. We came back to the room in the afternoon, and it didn’t work, we asked the reception about it, and they had no idea what was going on, and asked me to keep the AC on because maybe they fixed it in the morning. I kept it on and it didn’t work. I came to reception again in the evening and they sent a maintenance guy up to fix it. He climbed up, did something and “5 minutes and it will be ok”. Nothing changed. Tomorrow morning I went to reception again to complain, they said they will send someone to fix it. Again same scenario like the day before. We come in the afternoon, AC still broken, they send another maintenance guy up, he does some work. Says: Give it 30 minutes to an hour for the water to circulate, and it will work. 2 hours later, still no AC, and this is at the time of writing this review. I will update the AC situation with the latest as I will not give up on this. Negatives apart from that: -Low quality meats and cheeses at breakfast. -Instant coffee only. -90% of staff is not hospitable, some are downright rude. -Poor wi-fi An extra negative is the one “A la carte” dinner that you get as an all inclusive customer. The a la carte is that you get to choose between the main course being the fish, chicken or beef. The appetizers are set by them, and deserts as well. We went for the beef and we’re surprised to find that the food was all exactly the same as it was offered in the buffet downstairs. So, simply don’t do the “a la carte” dinner as you’ll have a much bigger choice downstairs in the buffet restaurant. Positives: -Waiter called Nabeel. -Guy on the beach setting up sunbeds -Wonderful beach -Fantastic pool area -Well equipped gym -Location really close to the center and the Medina -Lunch and dinner food selection Summary: While the hotel might have amenities on paper, of a 5 star hotel, it does not have the service of one. So adjust your expectations before you come here. We’re really not picky travelers, and are enjoying our stay here. But both me and my partner feel that having a working AC in the room is a must for a room in a 5 star hotel, and if the AC situation does get resolved in the end, I will change my review. Update: We moved to our third room of the stay and were notified that the AC was fixed. It wasn’t, and the lowest temperature you could get in the room was 25 degrees. I will keep this as a 3 star review.

This place is awesome, clean, beautiful, and well-built. The staff was very nice and kind, and the service in general was excellent. I recommend going to the rooftop's restaurant, the food in here is on point.

Verry nice vacation in this hotel, all the staff very kind and very smiling. At the reception any problem is solved thanks to Merdi. The all-inclusive meal plan is very diverse and very tasty. The hotel is highly appreciated for its location in the city center, the beach and access to the beach very close.Wireless internet throughout the hotel. I had a very nice vacation at this hotel.

Great architecture and many nice paintings. Yes, this is not a museum, but what a nice downtown AND seaside hotel! Food was good (not excellent but good). The room was clean yet small. Meeting rooms were well-equipped for our business event. I enjoyed my stay there.

Few Europeans. Many Arabs, mostly Algerians who in the dining room fill their tables with food and then leave a lot of it on the table when they leave. A terrible waste of food. There was a couple of English families. Unfortunately their children were completely out of control and had no idea how to behave in public.

The price was good for the accommodation and breakfast. However the cost of the dinner buffet was a bit expensive for what they served. Spa services was super good.

Well located hotel in the heart of Sousse city. Close to several restaurants, shops, cinema, etc. Staff os friendly but had to wait for ine hour to do our check-in even though rooms were booked in advance. The Must lounge is a delight wuth the best view over the mediterranean. Food is delicious. Thw rooms are nice and clean and you would have the best view from the 6th floor.

Worst hotel service I've ever experienced!! The room didn't even have something as basic as a soap?!!! I was so disappointed because the hotel wasn't bad, it had good vew, nice beach and decent rooms, the food wasn't bad but the service was so bad. The cleaning service was also not good.
