The worst experience ever, do NOT trust photos : hotel is old old, facilities in room are broken, bedsheets are yellow, NO beach towels, CONSTRUCTION in the territory, starts at 6am till evening. Dust from construction everywhere, in air, on sun beds, on tables, even on chairs in a room on 7 floor. I am allergic. Impossible to get a second card for room ( even though we are 3 in a room). Staff is not helpful, they don’t know what the service is. hotel is horrible. Maybe food is fine only, at least you could find what to eat; and animators do their best. All positive reviews are fake

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. Got off the bus to be greeted by a voice saying its not to late to turn around (true) god were they right. Upon checking in was given a room with a filthy bath, holes in the tiles and mould right around it. Half bottle of vodka in wardrobe and wardrobe handle hanging off. The place is absolutely filthy from top to bottom. The all inclusive is a joke only aloud 1 thing at a time (the beer is vile) little white plastic cups good enough for a child's party. All soft drinks out of bottles and not even cold (no ice either). Enter the restaurant at your own risk food is some of the worst food I've ever seen and doesn't taste any better than it looks. No cutlery on table and when I asked for some the staff were rude. Glasses are either cracked or the rims are enough to slice ya lips off. Cockroaches also found on several occasions. The pool area although looks nice from afar it is full of dirty food, stains and cigarette ends. Entertainment staff were on the other hand brilliant and very friendly. Also another thing to take note the hotel holds upto 900 people of which I noticed around 90% were German or French. If you go to this hotel go at your own risk its disgusting.

The only positive things about the hotel is the location as it’s on the beach and the animation staff whom were wonderful! The rest for the price you are paying is not worth it. I will list below the queries I had. 1. Towels! Good luck getting fresh towels everyday. You have have to make sure the maids leave you towels and check after cleaning that you have the towels because majority of the time you will not. 2. Do not let yourself be scammed. I got scammed by the pool waiter for bringing me two non-alcoholic drinks which he told me were 20 dinar each, and I naively paid because I thought well maybe that’s what they charge to bring it to you. I was wrong and maybe this is my fault but I didn’t imagine that I would get scammed in the resort by staff. 3. Luckily the A/C worked in our room but that could be because you gave a “gift” at check in but you will not be able to adjust the temperature. The A/C is a take it or leave it situation. 4. The rooms are cleaned only by emptying the trash, and making the bed. If you want the floors cleaned or anything else then you need to google translate to the maids to do it. 5. The drain in the shower did not work as in the water was not going down and only after a few days they fixed it. Also get ready to have the water jump by itself from hot to cold no matter where the lever in the shower is pointed. 6. The safe in the room has a mind of its own, sometimes it will open but mostly you will be stuck inputting the code again and again until it feels like opening for you. 7. The pool lounge chairs are dated and the net is breaking. If you want the good chairs make sure to be up early to put a towel down. 8. Speaking of the pool area. If you want to rent the towels there is a 20 dinar deposit which you give to the front desk and they give you a towel card which you then take to the gym and they give you the towel. Now when you want to leave and get the towel card make sure you keep the receipt they give you from the deposit, or else say goodbye to your deposit even if you have the towel card. 9. The food is not that great, but edible. The biggest issue is getting silverware. Also save yourself the disappointment with the Oasis “fine dinning” by just not going there.

The hotel is near the city center and just in front the see. It has a nice see view and a big pool. Rooms are clean and warm during the winter and the atmosphere in general is nice. The food is not that good but you can find something to eat.

The hotel is old but stands the test of time. The staff are trying to keep it in normal condition. The location is good. For my taste, it is too big an industrial hotel with one pool and a beach where there are not enough sunbeds for all the guests. The food is of solid good quality. Sometimes it is a problem to find a room because the corridors are very long and like a maze. My personal and realistic feeling is that you are in a 3-star hotel.

This hotel does not deserve 4*, the list of problems is endless. I only list a few below: - AC not working everywhere (when temp. Was 43 degrees) - Elevators can bloc you for 10min or more at any time (and they don't work most of the time) - Service quality is horrible (it's the worst) no one will support you when you need it (and you will need support) - Food is ok but endless lines and missing stuff will stress you - Overall quality is really poor (use plastic cups for drinks, sink leaking, toilets leaking, cockroaches (I had 2 in my room) elevators, AC...) This hotel is huge so the pool is full of people and you won't be able to swim. But wait, the best part is that they kick you out of the pool at 6pm everyday. Only good point is that the view is nice (if you have a room with sea view) and the beach is near but full of jellyfish. So enjoy !

I do not recommend in any way! A single main restaurant where you mostly only find rice, fried liver, milk and pastries, drinks served in plastic cups, a bar on the beach set up by refugees fleeing the war, hot drinks, few and of poor quality. Unavailability to change money at the hotel reception, a gentleman who is always angry that you want to change money and he has nowhere to give it to you. Fridges in the room that don't work, complaints after complaints without resolution. More special food offered secretly only if you make the intention to ask the restaurant manager. The worst experience in a resort ever!

The only positive i have to say about the hotel, is the location....... The staff were extremely dismissive and quite rude at times Tried to state i did not give a deposit for the remote control, and also tried to take an extra payment for my beach towel ( keep an eye on this ) No plates, no cutlery, food was bland, no organisation skills whatsoever. Smoking should not be allowed in the lobby, staff were smoking on the premises therefore looked extremely unprofessional. Staff having social conversations whilst serving customers, again unprofessional. Towels were not replaced in the rooms and it was unclean, thick cobwebs on the curtain rails etc. I have stayed in many 4 star hotels and this was far from 4 star.... disappointing.

this hotel has the worst food i've ever had in any hotel, bad quality, very bad taste, same food every day very simple you get bored with it, there is no change, breakfast is the worst.meat is old. cheese is old. many wrong laws in the hotel. pool closes at 6pm which is absurd. bar closes at 12am seriously? they don't serve soda until 9am. pool's water is not clear due too much clore. elevator is mad, not functioning right. to be honest the staff is friendly but the hitel needs some better management i give 4 stars to the spa serenity i had the best service best treatment from the staff i recommend it

Will share my experience with this hotel. We were 2 families with kids under 10. After the first day I have a food poisoning and continued over the whole holiday. The other guest experienced same . Only the kids were fine, because they don’t eat from the restaurant. The pool, very nice and beautiful, but too many people and the high temperatures required more chemicals. We all have ear infections from the pool. All the bad reviews are true, only the animation team is super. Food is disaster, drinks are disgusting. 10-15min in the queue and they gave you a beer in coffee cups. The other alcohol is very poor quality. No ice cream for the kids or slushes. Private beach is massive plus, but too many thing can ruin your holiday. Whether was very hot +48 and I have a good time there, but will never come back in Tunisia.

If you want to train your nerves this is the place to go ! Arrived1st day in the morning, got the room the last from our group waiting one extra hour with a kid ! The room not ready...... Booked a room for 3adults and one kid ,we got 3single beds ? Staff, especially at the reception, extremely rude cold unhelpful and uninterested ...... when I told them they will get reviews about everything , they said they don't care about the hotel and its my problem! Booked 10days ,every single days something wrong! AC not working anywhere in the hotel- rooms, restaurant, reception lobby bar area,corridors.., elevator stories every time when need to use ,you'll get faster by stairs , food was disaster , drinks in small paper cups 👀.... They only looking a reason how to steal money from you-from the beach towels , spa treatments, excursions... you need to pay deposit if you want TV remote 😄 Only good thing was our girl cleaning the room Waffa , the location the sea and the beach This hotel doesn't deserve a star 👎🏼 Couldn't wait for the vacation to finish!!! Never again.....

Poor service. Queues for all food & drink. Not as described by travel agents (Holiday Gems) Booked 2 rooms got 1. Room not serviced. Not enough staff. Buffet no service & was like feeding time at the zoo. Not enough Sun loungers people have to put towels on sand when they ran out. Tip if you want to try & avoid queues. Use the 2 paying bars to get any kind of service.

Is absolutely not worth any money to stay in this place . I absolutely feel like I need to be paid because I was eating food in that place. Reception staff just looking to squeeze some extra money from me. They don’t speak English. I end up to pay a person £20 who told me is a member of staff and also a lady from reception confirmed to take me on Medina Market to try to rip me off. He tried to make me to buy carpets and fake gold on fake 50% discount. Also they make me pay 210 Euros for a boat trip and a camel ride where they squeeze me for £70 on pictures. Food is a disgrace, I’m in phone call with NHS today on suspicion of a food poisoning or whatever it is , having severe kidneys pain and severe digestive problems. Rice is orzo , not very well cooked meat, always received half of small glass of wine , need to tip the waiter to get another small glass of wine. They serve salad prepared and exposed days ago. The worst coffee I had in my life. In the Hogmanay night was a kind of party where my kids were not being allowed to be there , in the same time all the local people kids who were able to speak Arab they where allowed. The have a big issue with a elevators falling or didn’t operate well. The location of this hotel is fabulous, but the personal doesn’t have any work ethic. I will never ever go back in Tunisia in my life.

Me and my family were here for 2 weeks, at the beginning we were given a room without air conditioning, we waited 4 days for them to change our room. The food is terrible, most of the hotel guests got food poisoning. The staff is very rude, even for the most basic services that you get following as a guest of a hotel that offers all-inclusive service and is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but in fact there is none. The air conditioning in the restaurant and lobby was also turned off, the elevators did not work all the time. Our dream vacation turned into a nightmare. I do not recommend stay here to no one.

Elevators were not working most of the time. There were 4 of them and usually 2 were always out of function. Our room was okay. We had AC, normal water and view on the sea which we have paid for, but other guests were having issues with broken toilets, ACs and etc. Room was not to clean, bad sheets were dirty, as well as the towels. Some of the receptionists were quite rude. The restaurant was not well organized and it was very dirty. Some of the glasses they have given us were smelling funny and were probably unclean. Food was plain and almost the same every day. The restaurant was too small compared to the amount of guests staying at the hotel and it was hard even finding a fork and a plate. My entire family had stomach issues and I even had food poisoning, mind that i only ate at the hotel. The beach was very dirty. Only clean thing was the pool, but we came for the sea not the pool. Animators were amazing, they were bringing up the atmosphere and without them this would be a 1 star review.

The hotel has its advantages and disadvantages. It has a great location, private beach, nice pool and you can always see the staff cleaning the stairs and hallways. The staff itself could be friendlier, often I asked for something and they just ignored me. The safe in the room wasn't working and the money exchange was nearly impossible. A lot of staff members are seasonal workers and don't really know what they're doing and don't really care about hotel image. WiFi connection was also not great.

I spent seven days of vacation in this hotel and I have never had a worse "vacation" in my life. They are very poorly organized, you pay for a room with a view of the sea and you get a room where you can see the sea a little around the corner, and at the reception they say that the room has a view of the sea, Very funny. Then the rooms are very dirty, the kitchen is in a very bad condition, the food is disastrous, you are constantly waiting for a plate, fork, knife. Drinks are served with small children's plastic cups... Queues are everywhere, starting from the bar, the kitchen, the elevator... At the very least, I just won't come again and I don't recommend anyone to be a guest there...

Nice hotel , we stayed here in June and had a good time, not too crowded & not to empty. Positive things: +room not the most updated & high class but had everything, towels changed every day & the view was great +great pool & private beach with a lot of sunbeds +entertainment programs along the day +hotel has a gym & play area for kids a couple of bars & restaurants. +good food +friendly staff Negative things: -kitchen staff overwhelmed by the amount of people , cannot imagine in high season. -sometimes the elevators had issues -noise from the hallways & loud music from the bar at night (we stayed at 7'th floor so the lower levels I think are more exposed to the music. But all & all a good experience we definitely would stay here again.

Well, the hotel has 4 stars but it does not deserve any single one of those. When booking we paid for a "renovated" room with sea view, from which we only got sea view. The room ceiling has mold circles all over (see pictures). The toilet has a broken seat (pictures included). The wardrobes are from the 1960s as well as the beds. There is a cockroach, some human hair and dust inside (see pictures) There is no internet in the rooms and the internet in the lobby was not good enough to even write this review. There is moisture all over the hotel and there was dripping water next to the toilets close to the lobby where the ceiling fell off one day. (Literallt almost crashed on someones head) They sometimes forgot to bring new towels but took the dirty ones, leaving us with no towels at all. This goes for toilet paper as well. Elevators do not work, so if you are checking in as for a low level room otherwise you will walk multiple times a day up and down. There is no possibility to get a second keycard for the door, so forget about going separate ways if multiple people in one room. They don't clean the sun beds and every morning you need to clean sand and suncream off of them before lay down. The hotel does not provide beach towels so bring your own. One thing that is good is the food. It has a lot of variety and is almost always freshly cooked and nice. However, since it is self service style and there are a few chefs cooking some kinds of food that need to be eaten right away (like tunisian traditional chi-chi) for example, when you go and take some (max 2) the guy is always asking for money and if you don't "tip" they make faces (this is included in the all inclusive price you pay btw). The location is good. The animators (entertaining team) does it's best and are quite fun and easy going.

The hotel has 4 stars, but the real quality is one and half stars: - The bathroom looks like the 2000s - The electricity sometimes works sometimes not. - The toilet 🚽🪠 disgusting. - The food from the canteen 2 stars - Hot water in the bathroom is not all time - We are sitting in the room from 3 days and the service room didn't clean yet.

There are a few good points about the hotel but it's definitely not a 4 star. The food are good and the staff are very friendly. Pool is nice and it's pretty much right on the beach. The hotel is very old or not looked after at all. It's not very clean. From the outside the paint is peeling off and it just doesn't look good. The lift doesn't work properly and most people use the stairs. Luckily we are on the 3rd floor and not like some on the top floors and have to walk up and down every day. Or for some unfortunate people who might not be able to walk up stairs this would be a nightmare. The gym is pretty much non existant. Nearly everything broken. The rooms are by far the worse. Extremely dirty and most electrical equipment broken. We had to change rooms because the toilet was broken and water everywhere. The second room was not much better. Aircon broken. Plus sockets not working. Hair dryer not working. They do come and fix it straight away when you phone the reception but still not very convenient. Toilet not able to flush proper so it really smells. The mattress is about the thickness of my hand so have not had a good nights sleep in over a week. The cleaners need to he briefed about what their job description are. They forget allot to change towels. Rearly empty the bin. Don't always make the bed. Haven't swept the floor once. In general I'm not sure what the room cleaners do. Now this part isn't the hotels fault but something to note incase you think of booking this hotel. There are bars and clubs surrounding the hotel that plays music VERY VERY LOUD until 02:00 everyday. If you go to bed after 02:00 its not so bad. But before that and its like they are playing it in your room. Although I am enjoying the pool sun and food I do not recommend this hotel. If they advertised it as a 3 star I would expect these things but paying for a 4 star ....

I can't even image a worst place to spent holidays in. It''s dirty, you have to ask for towels and toilet paper in the lobby, otherwise you don't get any. Theo glass and cutlery are so dirty and sticky. No enough staff, the food isn't tasty at all as it''s not seasoned, and there's not enough food to be honest. Theo snack bar is just a joke because there's no any. It is only a room called snack bar, but if you ask anyone from the staff about it, they say they never heard about it and they don't know where it is. But there's a lot off staff people who walk through "resort" all the time, and try to sell you something, and when you refuse to buy their service, they offend you. The best thing you can do about Riadh Palms Hotel is never go there.

To sum it up, Riadh Palms Hotel exceeded all my expectations. I left with a heart full of gratitude and a suitcase full of memories. If you're considering a stay in Sousse, this place is a gem. It's like a cozy home by the sea, with the most incredible people taking care of you. Huge thanks to the whole team at Riadh Palms for making my trip extraordinary. I can't wait to return and relive these wonderful moments!

No air conditioning in the rooms. the 4-person room was a 3-person room without air conditioning with a party and a highway outside the window. Service lazy, slow. battle for plates, cutlery, deckchairs. There is wifi but you can't do anything on it. Cockroaches run around in different parts of the hotel. The only thing cool there are the animators and lifeguards who were not allowed to even take water to drink. Toilets in a tragic state. Poles grouped in this situation, we met many wonderful people thanks to which we will remember this trip with pleasure.

We stayed here early this year in February for a short all inclusive 10 day break. having read reviews on line. having arrived at the resort the pool was closed for maintence, the room was okay, we were located on the 4th level in the centre facing the beach, overlooking the pool side and outdoor entertainment area. We went all inclusive, having heard a lot about the food facilities, only to be disheartened to find that the catering on offer let us down the most. there was nothing available for people who are veggie, apart from Chips and Salad and bread. me and my wife were both very disappointed and feel let down by the hotel and the catering staff considering we paid extra for all inclusive. having had the same food for three days we went out looking for good veggie restaurant's only to find that as we went off peak, majority of the places to eat where closed including bars and clubs. What a shamble break this turned out to be. IF this was not enough we booked several excursions where we were hounded by local tradesmen in forcing us to buy gifts and souvenirs that were not needed and taxi drivers offering to take on local tours that were only 10 min away from the hotel. A total waste of time this break was. We are sorry say that in all our years of travelling we would not be coming to this place again. A total waste of time and money.

We stayed only one night here but had a great time overall. The front of house manager was amazing and organized everything for us. The atmosphere was calm. Room was standard hotel style, but the bed was actually really comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend!

If it would be possible I would give a 0. - room was dirty, bed linen dirty, the balcony door’s window was missing a piece of glass so it didn’t close properly - everything is old and low quality in the room: AC, TV, Hairdryer (didn’t even work), mattress is absolutely uncomfortable - there was no variety in the food, same every day - cocktails at the bar you get in plastic glasses .. - huge masses of people who are very impolite, untidy - they left an absolute mess at the canteen table and it was disgusting - the beach is dirty, construction waste in the sand, water is dirty, broken glasses everywhere - same music everyday all day at the hotel If for some unfortunate reason you are at this hotel don’t bother to go on any activities. They say it is 20 mins away by bus with AC and then you end up traveling an hour with 50 degrees of celsius in the bus. Trust me, don’t go here!

Big and clean rooms. Free WiFi everywhere. No remote control in the room. You have to pay a deposit of 10 dinars to rent it. At the same time the possibility of changing channels directly on the tv is blocked. Wide variety of food, but a lot of dishes are not good, some are even inedible. You can’t exchange money in the reception before 9 a.m. Common places are dirty. In the room some sockets are blocked so that you would not be able to use them (?). I would not choose this hotel in the future.

Best value for money hotel we have ever had. We arrived 9th January for four weeks. Flew with Easyjet from Manchester (horrific). Nice warm room with all day sunshine. Bath with loads of hot water and modern furnishings in bedroom. Not many in hotel so Restaurant was quite civilised. Plenty of food with plenty of choice and a microwave. On sunbed by beach and happy to be saving money! So happy with our holiday we returned on 10th March for another 4 weeks. After 2 weeks it was the start of Ramadan and because of this all the Arabs had left the hotel and this left about 30 Europeans in a hotel which in high season has around 2000 guests. During the first few weeks the weather was really warm and it was nice to just lay by the pool, relax and read. Or it would have been had it not been for the so called " Animation Team". We have been on many holidays and this was without doubt the most useless Team we have ever seen. Apart from a very occasional game of French boules they had absolutely nothing to offer to the small number of "elderly" tourists who were relaxing round the pool. The members of the team were either playing with thir phones or strolling aimlessly around the pool area and very occasionally interacting with the guests. Unable to provide any useful entertainment they opted instead to blast music nonstop round the pool area. Bearing in mind the number and age of the guests one would think the team would provide an appropriate selection of background music. But no! From early morning we were subjected to heavy, repetitive and extremely annoying back-beat noise. It was impossible to find an area to minimise the constant assault to our ears. Even some good quality noise reduction earbuds could not eliminate the noise. The "music" had obviously been pre-recorded and the team simply switched it on. However they did have control of the volume and our requests to lower the volume were totally ignored. During the 2 months we stayed at the hotel, January and March, it became obvious very early that this Animation Team had virtually nothing to offer guests in the form of entertainment, and what they did provide could easily have been achieved by one person, rather than a team of 8. The management of the Hotel seriously needs to consider the wellbeing of the guests at this time of year.

The hotel is okay but the food is a disappointment. There is not enough seating and too much people pushing and tugging for food. Its not a nice experience at all. Elevators are a headache. First and last time.

the location is perfect, but service is rather under average...rooms need a little bit of refreshing and the staff is not really nice either; don't be surprised if you wait for the plates during lunch time and drinks are "served" in plastic glasses and you need to get it alone...food was often cold so l preferred to eat outside ...l was expecting more from it; l had all inclusive and room with a sea view, which was the most beautiful thing, but the only one...

Where do I begin with this utterly appalling hotel? From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was just chaotic and horrific. Day 1 - when we arrived we were greeted by an overcrowded reception which had no logical order with people jumping in the queue randomly and getting served first. We were told to come back after 30 minutes several times and as we had a child with us we asked if we could go to lunch in the meantime (we had all inclusive and it was around 2:30pm, lunch was ending at 3pm) As we entered the restaurant the staff were ill mannered and unwelcoming, with one even commenting why we were coming so late. The tables were not cleaned, we had to ask for knives and forks. The food was cold and tasteless. Eventually our turn came after waiting about 2 hours and we finally felt a sigh of relief when we got our room key. To our dismay it only got worse upon entering our rooms. The toilet had some kind of dark muddy water inside the sink was blocked and so was the bath, the same muddy water would rise up through the bath and sink too. Simple tasks like brushing our teeth was disgusting. Nevertheless we had some rest before going down to dinner in hopes things would be better (going early this time) You can already guess it was the same show of charades. Food was not just tasteless, but made you want to throw up while eating. items such as bread were stale and beers flat and cloudy. We felt sorry to have to waste almost anything we picked up. After dinner we approached the receptionist to ask him to send someone up to have a look at the drainage issues and possible room change. He took our room numbers and to no surprise nobody had come up. Just walking around the hotel, it’s dark and dull, filled with cigarette smell and smoke. Coming here on holiday really felt like a hotel in "the wrong part of town" as opposed to the fantasy they portray on the website. … and this was just day 1, could we possibly endure this for another 6 days?! Unfortunately no. To conclude, I highly recommend this hotel for the ultimate horrific experience.
