😐 Tunisian dishes in a nice, traditional atmosphere. Overpriced though. There were no menu, no prices and when the check arrived it costed ~80,000 dinars for two dishes, one lemonade and a bottle of water.. People often mention good, menu, restaurant, service, soup, friendly,

The place is very quaint, the service and food is also good. The menu is short (however only in French and Arabic) and you cannot really see the prices of the meals, unless you ask.The meal consists of a starter and two side dishes +a small dessert (when ordering a grilled fish). You cannot get alcohol here. I"m giving 4 stars only because my grilled fish was a bit raw inside. Calamari was not a big portion.

Wow! What a great meal with fabulous service! We got water, brik + salads, a bowl of baguette, small bowls of a tasty tomato soup, and a piping hot chicken “cocette berbere”. For two people it was 64 TD, which is about half the price of a meal back home for one person. If we were staying longer in Sousse, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect place to have lunch/dinner in Tunisia. 100% recommendable. The rate quality/price is unbeatable. Gluten free option available.

The food was arguably the best food I have eaten in Tunisia over the last 18 months. I had the Berber Cocott beef which is a spicy slow cooked dish with vegetables served over couscous. I highly recommend it. The service staff were very friendly and prompt. We definitely come back!

A lovely little place with excellent dishes of the day. Very friendly owners. Very nice food. We had the grilled fish and the stuffed squid. Both delicious. The meal starts with soup and appetisers and finishes with mint tea and fruit.

Given the rather rave reviews here and the price point (menu with coke, plus tip: 40 DT), I found my dinner experience underwhelming. Fish stew as a main was dull, overcooked and lacked taste as well as freshness, the small salad was not dressed, the spring roll mushy. Best thing was the inconspicuous soup although the bread was stale-ish. Small tea after dinner only lukewarm. Friendly service with good English though. – Overall, overpriced mediocre food, unfortunately.

Service is good and fast. The menu is also good but food isn't as spicy as expected. Though, I'll still recommend it.

A very good restaurant to try in Sousse. I ordered a Cocotte berbère boeuf and it was delicious and well seasoned. The full menu with starter, main course, dessert and tea for 28 dinars not expensive at all ! Very kind staff that speaks English as well.

Me and my partner had a great time here. We ordered 3 mains (stuffed squid, lamb casserole and fish soup) that came with plenty of sides, a little soup , fruit and tea for a total of around 30£ (90 Tunisian dinars). The food was very tasty, the place is cozy and the guy serving us was nice and professional. I would definitely recommend a stop here!

It is the best restaurant in Tunisia. The owners are so nice and friendly. The food was so good that I ate all even though I had much food before and I wasn’t that hungry. They don’t have English menu but it wasn’t a problem at all as the restaurant owner explained menu with pictures. The best service with the best quality. I think I never forget this wonderful restaurant, I am so lucky I experienced this restaurant during Tunisia trip. you should visit if you wanna really good food!

A strange place without any menu (Arabic only), they serve very spicy typical local food for decent prices

The restaurant is in the medina of sousse, easily accessible. The theme is very traditional and so is the food. We ordered pasta with seafood and kammounia with octopus, they are served with a delicious fish soup, some salade and brik. My favorite is the kammounia, a real delight. Moreover the staff is very friendly. At the end you get some fruit and a light tunisian green tea. I highly recommend it.

We came here because of the good reviews, but sadly it was just average food, questionable hygiene (it didnt look too clean and the owner's daughter came and grabbed my husband's plate / food when the food was served to us for no reason) and the bread was old and stale. The people who own the place were arguing loudly, their kids were running around being really loud, and we had to remind her about getting the bill - which instead of bringing it on the second time just plucked a number out of her head. Massively overcharged us and no receipt was given! We wanted to leave so couldn't be bothered to argue with her. Quite a disappointing experience
