6.30am and you can not find a bed next to the pool. Because everyone has woken up and put their towels down then gone back to the room. Even though it clearly says no reserving. Staff are not bothered and will allow this to happen. Don’t bother going to the pool you are met with rude Russians who have no people skills. Ruined the holiday definitely won’t be coming back to this resort for that reason. Day 2 into our holiday and we are leaving for another hotel down the road. 8am and the staff are only cleaning the pool area whilst everyone is sunbathing water is getting brushed everywhere. The breakfast area is still filthy from dinner the night before. Overall this has been one of the worse hotels not just for the dirt but also how rude the other guest are. My daughter getting smacked in the face by a ball and a group of grown men laughing was the last straw. definitely won’t be returning.

First impressions were OK. Arrived around 9:30am and was told check in is from 2:00pm. Fine we'll have a wander about, even though we obviously wanted to get changed and freshen up after the long journey. Once we'd seen the pool area and beach there's not much more to see. Stumbled into what I now know is Boca beach bar/restaurant at the back of pool area thinking it must be part of hotel but no it's a separate entity from hotel where everything is purchased. Went for lunch. Usual buffet style lunch, grab a plate and shuffle along in the queue looking at the questionable offerings occasionally being queue jumped by impatient kids/adults. Drinks in small paper cups but on tables also some small glasses. Bottles of water freely available. There is something to eat and drink for most palettes at both lunch and dinner. Breakfast however is stated to be from 07:00am but every time I arrived around that I found them still setting up, the pancake and doughnut station mostly unattended without the griddle and pan being heated. When asking when this would be ready, he's just coming, in a minute were the excuses. After 10 days I thought I'd ask reception why it's never ready and was told the machine had broken when it clearly hadn't. With the exception of a couple of the waiters and the always happy barman the rest of the staff sullen and unwelcoming. The room when available was perfectly serviceable but a little tired all round. The wifi however doesn't reach the room or so we thought. Discovered that if you're out on balcony you can connect and if you're behind front door or in the toilet you can connect but in the middle of the room nothing. This was room 1036. Our maids were outstanding and with the odd tip performed excellent towel origami. Pool area was fine if you were up early enough to "reserve" a bed and if you haven't bought your own a towel which are kept in a locked hut and sometimes the key is left in a palm tree trunk other times guest wander about trying to find someone to unlock. The 3 regular guys serving from the pool swim up bar are all top guys. Obviously with the occasional tip they work very well. Again the pool area is looking tired though. You are allowed to use the facilities of the adjacent sister hotel but no information obviously available as to what and when etc. The animation team are all friendly and bubbly as you would expect offering the usual fair of aerobics, darts, archery etc. The evening shows take place in the sister hotel as well. We found more entertaining evenings in the Boca beach bar and even though its mainly Tunisian , felt comfortable and welcomed there. The hotel does try but sort of fails mostly on most aspects, however this has to be balanced out against the overriding factor, cost! What is offered for the money paid is the fine line being trodden here and as long as you're expectations aren't too high then it's just about acceptable.

The service in the restaurant is piss poor to say the least. The waiters attending the table are very rude, they’ll either ignore you or speak in their language with one another. Instead of helping their customers they’re too busy being pervy and staring down every woman in the restaurant. From our experience we have sensed discrimination from the waiters. We have seen them go out of their way for white customers but weren’t willing to carry out their job role for us? We knew that we had to pay for drinks from the bar as we only paid for breakfast and dinner and didn’t opt for all inclusive. But throughout our stay up until the last day we had been ordering soft drinks alongside our dinner at the restaurant and we assumed it was part of the package we paid for. But on our final dinner we had to pay for our drinks. This would not have been an issue had we been told this from the start like how we did with the soft drinks from the bar. However, the staff at the reception and the cleaners who clean the room are really lovely and helpful. They go out of their way to help you with all your queries and requests. Overall the place has been spectacular but the waiters from the restaurant have been absolutely awful and put a damper on our holiday they have no professionalism and no mannerism whatsoever really disappointed and ruined it for us.

This is some parody, of four stars hotel. The only good thing for me is a beach, nothing else. The rooms are decent, but needs renovation. The food isn't tasty, every day the same things. The products are not fresh ,no variety There isn't glasses for a drinks, they serve in paper cups for coffee and tea. If you ask for normal glasses, they said that don't have enough. The problem is general in management . It's not value for the money, at all. Totally disappointing. Definitely not recommend.

I was here for 10 days with my partner. Upon arrival we walked into a beautiful lobby and we were greeted with a drink. We had a very nice member of staff help us with our bags and forget his first name but his middle name was Ben. Super nice and helpful individual who would always say hi and wave when he saw us. Rooms were okay, a bit outdated and the walls were very thin. Had to move to another room as we could hear everything happening next door and lost nights of sleep. The pool area was nice and clean and plenty of sunbeds available . The animation team were great and worked their butts off. The drinks were okay, I mainly stuck to soft drinks but my partner said the beer wasn't the best. Cocktail menus were not great and pre-mixed drinks were used. The food really let the hotel down! The dining area was spacious but the food lacked variety and quickly became repetitive. Desserts weren't great and tasted cheap and like gelatine. The area around the kitchen smelt like drains, it was awful. My partner and I ended up losing 5 days of our holiday due to food poisoning from the hotel. We have never been so unwell and were up all night projectile vomiting and battling through horrible stomach cramps and diarrhoea. Not sure what is going on in that kitchen but I am aware at least 6 other guests also have food poisoning during the time we were there. We ended up eating out once we recovered and could hold down food. My partner did not eat the last 3 days; in the hotel or outside. That's how bad it was! Although our experience was not great, there was one saving grace by the name of Wassailia. She is a housekeeper at the hotel and the sweetest individual. She works hard and showed genuine care towards us. I will miss her very much and will cherish our time together. I would really like to commend her and hope management will acknowledge and praise her as an employee. So although we did not have a great experience we were extremely fortunate to have met her. Thank you so much Wassailia and we wish you nothing but joy and happiness in life ❤️❤️❤️

Hello to all future visitors of hotel ‘Marhaba Club 4 *’ ! I was at the hotel from 21st to 28th July 2022 with my Mum. This was my birthday present for her. After looking through the photos, published on the hotel web site, we chose to go there. The troubles began from the very beginning: instead of our booked /and paid/ room with a sea view, we were given a room with a view towards the roofs. Thankfully, this was fixed later, BUT: 1. The food they offered was very bad, often undercooked or stale. 2. Service /if any/ depended on the tips. 3. We were harassed by the beach security for three consecutive days. The story is as follows: Day one: At 7:30 a.m. we spread our towels /in signal colours/ on the sun loungers to reserve our places at the beach.  Later, at our arrival at the beach, we found out that our towels had disappeared. A crazy search followed which ended up with finding the towels under an umbrella. We considered it an accident. Day 2: Again, at 7:30 a.m. we spread the towels to reserve our places at the beach. Two hours later, we discovered that our towels had disappeared again. We referred the matter to the beach security man who told us to wait for 5 minutes. These 5 minutes turned out into 3 whole hours. After this long waiting he returned with the towels telling us that he found them in the beach bar warehouse. Day 3: The towels disappeared again. The security was notified again. At the same time our neighbours at the beach told us they had seen how in the last three days early in the morning the security man was taking and carrying away our towels. At our attempt to clarify what they saw with him, he began to shout at us. Eventually he did not confess and our towels permanently disappeared. Our next step was to ask the representative of the organizing company for assistance. No result! Although we had already paid for our places at the beach /price included in the vacation package/, by paying additionally we spent the last two days enjoying the beach. This was our real vacation! Moreover, we never received the breakfast from the last day of our all-inclusive excursion. This celebration of my Mum’s birthday was ‘unforgettable’ and well paid by me. We were lucky to be back home. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

Positives: - the staff are their biggest asset by far. Most are very friendly, helpful & extremely hard working - the beach is a short walk away & the hotel has sun loungers and fixed parasols for free use and the sea is crystal clear and warm - there is a hotel beach bar that provides beer, wine & soft drinks - there is a swim up bar in the pool with fixed seats that serves hot drinks, beer, wine & soft drinks - the water in the swimming pool is warm - there is a small shallow round swimming pool for toddlers & the main pool has a walk in path that leads to the main pool which is ideal for little ones - the daily activities are varied and my son particularly enjoyed the daily water polo. The pool has been designed with a swim passage that runs around the back of the pool to the bar, so that you can still access the bar when there are activities in the main pool - at breakfast the made to order omelettes are tasty - at lunch and dinner the chips & ice cream are good - there is a small fridge in the bedroom - the hotel is on a main road that comes alive at night so if you want to go out and explore, you can - the Easyjey plane was comfortable with lots of space Negatives Overall, the worst all inclusive hotel I have ever stayed in (I have stayed in more than a few) which is a shame as a lot of the issues could be easily remedied. I am amazed this is a 4* hotel. But to be fair this was not an expensive holiday but even so, a lot of things were very poor. We visited the adjoining sister hotel, the Marhaba Beach, & this was so superior in so many ways! At the time of booking the holiday, this hotel was not that much more expensive and I wished we had booked it instead. On looking now, it is 30% more expensive, but worth every penny in my humble opinion. So here are my negatives: - the restaurant was chaos. We arrived on 15/7/22 and as it got busier by the day, the chaos worsened. I suspect this was no fault of the staff but more the fault of the owners/managers. Quite simply there was not enough cutlery, glasses or crockery so a lot of time was spent asking the staff for these items - as there was not enough staff to clear the dirty tables quickly enough, sometimes you had to wander around looking for a clear table - the food was not very varied - the ice cream spoons were smaller than tea spoons and plastic - the orange juice and bread at breakfast were often running out and so you had to ask for more & wait - the restaurant is not set up in a logical manner. There were no bowls or spoons by the cereal and fruit cocktail at breakfast and at dinner the dinner plates were at the end of the food rather than at the beginning - the air conditioning in the communal areas like the lobby & the restaurant was very poor so that it was just too hot to be comfortable - there was nowhere for large numbers of guests to sit at night after dinner to have a drink/play cards/chat. In the front of the hotel there are five tables and chairs but that is the only place to sit outside so we had to resort to going by the pool to sit on our loungers but as this area has no lighting we could not see to read or play cards - the entertainment wasn’t very good although 100% for effort from the animation team who were all very nice - the only bar that served cocktails or spirits was the lobby bar - the cocktails were not very good - as there were so few glasses 90% of all drinks were served in small plastic disposable cups & the staff frowned at “doubling up” -for 4 of our 7 day break the hotel had no Diet Coke and no other diet drink - only 7 hangers in a room for 3 - most of the time there was no toilet roll in the ladies toilet so you had to ask staff for some - all of the toilet are fitted with small water hoses but no drains so the floor floods - the beach only had one ladies toilet which was often blocked - the Easyjet rep. was poor. Never told us anything useful re the hotel or area - no pool table or table tennis

Just spend 4 nights at Marhaba club, it was an awesome experience, the staffs are so friendly. I was originally given a room which I was not happy with however as soon as I went to the reception my room was changed without any problems. The food is a buffet style with different varieties of dishes for each meal and the bar for all inclusive is open until midnight. The beach and premises are clean and maintained by security at all time The facilities are shared with the sister Marhaba hotels and the entertainment is very nice. There is a spa available which I will recommend as the price and services were excellent. We choose to do some activities which we booked from the easyJet rep(day trip) and the hotel rep for the pirate boat. I will definitely come back for a longer break next time. Thank you to all the staffs to made this break wonderful ❤️

Hotel is nice enough. All inclusive (although do bring your own glass/drinks container as they only serve in pitifully small cups or glasses). Beer is pretty poor, spirits are non brand and it's very hit/miss on how much you get. Coke/Fanta/Sprite all good - except for the restaurant where they serve some pretty weird rola-cola. Rooms were clean, tidy. Shower was excellent. Air conditioning *just* about works well enough - expect if it was much hotter it would fail miserably. Pool is great, as is the beach. Lots of beds, no real need to fight for one. Towels were available but we brought our own. There are many flies - which will irritate you to your wits end during the day. What is odd is that the all inclusive wrist band doesn't work during the day at the adjoining Marhaba hotel, but they appear more than happy for you to use their pool (which is nicer) and all the evening entertainment is there too, by which point they will serve you drinks. It's a five minute stroll. Entertainment is awful. I realized that as we watched a light show when three people came out in glow in the dark emu costumes and pranced about for 15 minutes to an assortment of 90s hits. Generally, more of the same each night. If your expectations are set very low, you might just like it. Food is quite hit and miss. There's always fries, but after that your looking at cheap fatty meat cuts, often in a stew. Some fish (loads of bones) apart from tuna steaks, which were excellent. Waiting staff vary enormously - some ignore you completely, others are engaged and clown around. Drinks are served in the restaurant by the waiting staff and often very slowly, so if you find a good section, stick to it as the waiters keep their sections. The animation team (entertainment team) were ok. They definitely tried to get us all to join their zumba, water pool, darts, archery and other games around the pool. If it's your thing, I guess you'll like it. I wish they'd just leave us all alone. Music pumped out over the pool all day - bring buds. Off site trips are tempting - cost us 1240D for four of us to do the three trips - camel riding, pirate boat amd quad biking. Camel Riding is the only worthwhile trip. Quads are super slow, round a litter infested building site. Pirate Boat is OK, but consisted of so much 'forced fun' through shouting and clapping where they try and insist you join in - because you will have fun, made me want to swim to shore. Camels were out the back of a neighboring town, and there's a tradional bred making demonstration. Take some money - they'll ask quite aggressively for tips, and for photographs. There's no elegant way to mount a camel - they will literally manhandle you up there. Guides are generally quite pleasant, although vulgar as they address women. All together, it's worth spending a week (definitely wouldn't stay longer as you run out of things to do, and you will have had your fill of the food and drink).

The second stay was the middle of 9/2022, the place to the worst, I do not recommend it The staff is not kind to the Arab hostels, and the place needs a lot of attention in terms of hygiene and food

We stayed here for 2 weeks and are glad we're going home! There's the brochure....then there's reality! There is only one thing positive to say about this hotel and that is that the lobby is lovely. The food was very samey, we ended up eating out most nights and skipping lunch. The morning pastries were rock solid. The bottom of the pizzaa were burnt. The Head Waiter stood at his podium watching loud films on his phone during every meal time. We had to send out a search party to get a spoon for soup. Guests were turned away at 8:30pm as there was no food left. There was a great waiter by the pool area who attended to your every need, and there was one that didn't. Nothing was consistent. Maintenance started drilling at 7am most mornings. The towels smelt of bleach. We ran out of toilet roll, reception were not helpful so we had to grab some from the lobby toilets. The rooms are tired but clean. The whole place needs updating. There are rooms that aren't used anymore that are just shells, with broken glass strewn everywhere. The beach and the sea were covered in rubbish although security were clearing it whilst we were there. The pool and surrounding area is grotty and was never cleaned. The pool was missing large amounts of tiles. The lounger cushions are left out overnight so are mouldy. The outside ovens are left outside uncovered all year round. There are kennels directly outside the front of the hotel and dogs barking throughout the night. The hotel is on a main road so can be very noisy. The right side lift kept breaking down and one guest got trapped in it. The beach toilet was disgusting. Only 1 ladies loo with the door literally hanging off! The WiFi password was updated halfway through the holiday but no guests were informed. The bar/waiting/cleaning/maintenance staff all work extremely hard and were always very helpful and friendly. The reception staff seemed to just sit around. If you venture out of the hotel DO NOT listen when the locals say 'Do you recognise me, I'm the chef/waiter from your hotel', ignore them and walk away. We got a great tip, turn your wristband over as it confuses them. They know every hotel by the colour of the wristband and grab you before you know it! They wait as you walk outside and then pounce! Flappy Glow in the Dark mini golf at the Soula Center is a must! It's brilliant! Beb Al Medina Sky Restaurant does good food. L'escargot is a lovely French restaurant with good steaks.

A week ago I came back from a wonderful vacation. I'm very impressed with the organization of the animation in the hotel. A big plus for the daily show that involved us dancing and singing! We never got bored during our sunbathing by the pool and on the beach (big thanks to the animation team- Vito, Mario, Jordan, Joe, Rio and to all the rest of the animators) Polecam z całego serca!

The hotel was great although a little tired in places. Rooms are a good size but the bathroom needs some TLC. The staff are fabulous, very helpful & accommodating. Food is of a good quality, & the desserts are to die for. Don't expect to lose weight if you visit here!

(Translated by Google) Maybe due to the fact that it is September, which is almost out of season, but everywhere there is a lot of space, there are always some free sunbeds, 2 swimming pools close to the sea. The animators with a smile on their faces do everything they can not to get bored, friendly service and very good food. I recommend this hotel! (Original) Może ze względu na to że jest to wrzesień czyli już prawie po sezonie ale wszędzie jest dużo miejsca zawsze są jakieś wolne leżaki, 2 baseny blisko do morza. Parents be aware. Stay away from this hotel and their restaurant. We booked an all inclusive stay. Our 2 year old daughter got Salmonella from their restaurant. We all got diareea for weeks. We drank only bottled water but still their restaurant and even bottled water is very bad with bacteria. I hope other parents learn from my mistake.

Excellent hotel , staff can't do enough to help, rooms cleaned daily , food Excellent. Pool area kept clean , short walk to a beautiful private sandy beach which has sun loungers for guests of hotel. On the beach there are activities e.g. paragliding, speedboats, etc. Great value hotel which I would highly recommend

I enjoyed staying here at this hotel and had a great time but this hotel is definitely not a 4 star - I would class this like many 4 star hotels in Tunisia as a 3 Star hotel. The hotel is very clean nonetheless and is cleaned on a daily basis. The entertainment was okay. The food is good in that you will always find something that you like to eat. The reception staff are very nice and professional. If you are to stay at this hotel, I would recommend a Seaview with a Smart TV.

Amazing hotel. We arrived here after being moved from hell. The staff are polite and go above and beyond. Rooms are beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The facilities are brilliant. Food is delicious and there is a massive variety for everyone. It was my birthday and staff even made me a cake. We would definitely recommend/ come back.

Hotelliga võis rahule jääda, tubades võiks remonti teha aga muidu hea. Söökidega jäin rahule.Suur plus oli see, et meri oli ligidal, basseinide suhtes ei nurise.

This is more a 3* star, food was a bit hit and miss. The toilets near pool had a bit of an unpleasant odour at times, needs to be cleaned more frequently pool was good and so was swim up bar. There is a children's part with slides but the jets are set too high for the kids so needs looking at. This used to be one hotel with the occidental next door. The spa, indoor pool and shop and a very small crazy golf are the occidental and the stage is better there. You have to pay for drinks and food in the occidental. The Bocca bar is not free but this is ok. There is a bar between the 2 hotels so can get free drink from here and take to other hotel. Should be one hotel. The lights don't stay on when in toilets. The animation team worked hard but they were the main entertainment. The list for what is on is on reception desk and outside dining room. Only saw the one on reception desk when we were going home.

Location Not bad, 40 mins from airport, on main drag, next to the beach. Hotel Okay, could be better, could be worse. Cleaners do a good job on cleaning rooms, cleaner waxing floor in lobby last night, so they make an effort. Room is okay, clean, hot water, clean beds, no smells, ok views. Pool is good, needs a tidy up at night though. Lounger beds need a bit of TLC. Staff Everyone is pleasant and nice, waiters running around cleaning tables in restaurant, working hard, lobby waiters happy and helping out. Music is really loud by the pool, need ear defenders at times. Food For us, it is quite good, we enjoy it. Local cuisine and normal chips etc. Lot of variety. We have stayed at 5 star hotels and isn't that quality of course, but still OK. I mean I had brussel sprouts today!! Just wish people ate all the food they got as so much waste. Drinks Again quite good, plenty of free bottled water, cocktails in lobby, don't expect top class cocktails, but they're adequate. Beer is OK, coke and lemonade from Coke Cola. Overall Not bad, would I come back, yes. Needs a lick of paint, but think the hotel are trying hard to bring it up to scratch. Western Europeans are very much a minority here, about 5%, the rest are from the Mediterranean region. Chatting to an Algerian family earlier!!

Stayed for a week here with my family.we booked on the basis that there were kids playing facilities but didn't see anything. The hotel is clean, staff are lovely and welcoming, food was exceptional, pools were clean, beach was walking distance and the animation team were good. Although we noticed they were more attentive to the European tourists, on the last day they made the effort to play with my kids which was nice to see.  We did find that unfortunately a lot of people do end up reserving sun beds at the poolside. Having said that, I can honestly say I didnt want to return home and had a great time!

Spent a week in the hotel, from July 5-12 in 2022. Spent a wonderful holiday in the hotel, everyone loves the tourists in the country. The room was upstairs and had a seaside view. It was clean, and they cleaned the rooms every morning. The food were okey too, we only spent money outside to buy cola and some snacks. The beach was a little bit dirty but it is not a big deal because we spent our day in the sea. You are able to change dollar and euro in the reception of the hotel. Pay a little extra money to everyone around you.

Location is great! Affordable price ! The morning staff working in restaurant and the reception is very efficient and friendly but the one of the night shift were unprofessional and rude. Blankets were missing from 3 person room we had to call them at 1am. The pool was dirty. The food was ok-ish.

For Tunisian conditions, the hotel offers a truly superior price / performance ratio. The staff, which is not paid enough financially, I learned that they have from about 1 dinar = 8 CZK per hour, they still smile at you every day and are nice. I must also appreciate and highlight the entire team of animators, who not only work intensively on young children, but also have programs for adults and amazing evening shows every day. Overall, I rate my stay here very positively and I also really enjoyed the food here. It's all the sadder to see food wasting (downright gluttonous) at some of the tables sitting next to us.

As is common with this type of place the rooms are just a little tired. However that is more then made up for by the service, the good food and a great location. On a wonderful beach but close to the centre of town and all the shops, restaurants and bars you will ever need.

Visited the hotel multiple times and always had a good experience. The main strengths of the hotel are: 1. The great location. 2. Nice park in-between the hotels. 3. Great food. 4. Nice pools, including indoor one. 5. Nice service. 6. Beautiful sandy beach. Very good price to quality ratio.
