    We stayed here for 3 weeks in June 2023. The hotel boast 5 stars, but failed to live up to it. We booked and paid for a suite with a sea view, we didn’t get one. We got a family room overlooking the golf course, nice, but not a sea view. We complained and were told by the hotel and TUI to read the small print. The restaurants were overcrowded and understaffed, the food plentiful but contained no information about ingredients, again we were told to read the small print. The hotel pool and outside areas are great but you need to be out before 0800 to get a poolside or beachside sun bed. If you want what you paid for or expected, expect an argument. They just won’t understand poor performance gains poor reviews. Never again.

    Such a beautiful hotel! Great setvice, quick and friendly staff. The rooms are specious and clean. The food itself is great (good quality), but not the best variety. Thanks Barcelo Green Park Palace for the amazing stay🥰

    Worst 5-star hotel experience so far! Be careful! During check-in time, we were told that there is no record of our reservation, though we have presented the agency voucher confirming our booking for 3 days. We stayed in the reception for around 2 hours before they gave us our rooms. Reception agents are very unwelcoming and unpolite. We made a reservation of a 3 bed room, they gave us a 2 bed room and they asked one of us to sleep on the sofa, unbelievable! The hotel was obviously overbooked, and the services were very poor, we couldn't find a spot on the pool or on the beach, and the staff was reserving spots for the ones paying more on the side. People were treated differently based on their nationalities... The bottom line is don't go to this hotel.

    the services are very bad, if you don't pay the waiters every time, you sit at the table and they don't serve you ..you have no drinks or salt. (the drinks are only served at the table) , the fish served smelled like a corpse, internet only in the lobby, and the minibar existed but was never filled. Room cleaning is poor and housewives can come at 8 am to clean or at 4 pm, there are no signs in the room with "do not disturb" so everyone enters the room directly. No bathrobes, no coffee maker (that they advertised)There is no laundry, or if there is no information about it. The fitness room consists of only 3 water bikes. There is no other information about other activities in the hotel, and if you ask it is answered with "I don't know" or "no". Rude staff, you don't feel welcome. I WILL NEVER COME BACK and will not recommend this hotel. I have traveled a lot, and i saw hundred hotels, but this ist the worst.. no customer service and just RUDE STAFF !!!! Stay away

    We had an amazing stay! Room was big, elegant and clean. The lobby was beautiful and clean, the pool and the beach were really awesome. The best thing was the bar in the pool with really delicious drinks. I was worried after reading bad reviews but I really cant agree less. The staff was polite and superquick! I really love this place I hope to come back soon. The only drawnback was the fitness centre as its opening hours were 9-18 who would excercise in this time? It would be great if it was open since 7 when the heat is not so strong yet.

    Currently I'm in vacation on this hotel (all inclusive package) we are a grup of romanian people and all of us (and even more others..) we all are dissapointed by the services that they offered to us. 1. Food is the same on all days on all meals and even on lunch and dinner (both are almost the same). The fruits are not verry variant. The drinks are poor in quality, sometimes they replace coca-cola, fanta with some no-name local brands which I don't like them too much. The alcohol is bad quality. The personal who serve us the meals are not too presentable, their stands are not so clean, they are giving us the dishes like they are dealing us cards. 2. Cleaning is not verry good here, the dishes are not cleaned well, on glasses I can even scratch the solid dirt from them.(I saw this on 4 days in a row on different glasses so I don't think this was a coincidence). 3. The pool is ok, but I didn't saw to change the water or to filter it, I saw only a guy who throw some chimcals (I think clour) into the water around the whole pool in the evening after everybody left. There are some missing tiles on the pool (they are even presenting the hotel like this in pictures) 4. Internet wifi signal is low in some rooms and also is missing on all restaurants, on pool side and on the private beach 5. Towels, if you are not going in the morning to get them, later you can't find any of them.. I discussed with other people who stay on hotels around the turistic location and the situation is not the same (the food is good and variat), even where the stars level of the hotel is lower than this resort which is ratted with 5*. I even saw this with my eyes on hotel rated with 4* when I went to a 2 days Sahara trip, the food was verry good and personal who served us perfect. The only thing that I can say it was perfect is the rooms. They are so big, cleaner and good furniture. Also the beach is ok and hotel arhitecture is beautiful (too pitty the services are so bad)

    It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, but needs updating. It has some facilities but most are paid ones except a swimming pool and a fitness suite. The food is generally good and a selection to choose from. But the waiters are a bit pushy in terms of forcing you to get a drink (only to find out later that you have to pay for it?). If I wanted to buy a drink I will buy a drink but not when someone is literally forcing it to me.. Not a 5 star.....

    Great location: the most beautiful resort in the area with very nice beach, it is close to the El Kantaoui port and piazza (we recomend habibi shop for souvenirs). The resort is about 15 min with taxy ride to the ribat of Sousse and 10 min to the Mall of Sousse (great sweets at Sucreri shop). Wonderful staff: many thanks to the receptionists, and at the restaurant to Iman, Farsallah Mahmoud, the dedicated chefs and the sport activities animator. The food is great and diverse. We would have loved to see more traditional deserts (instead of international). As a recomandation for the beach: it would be great to wash/change the covers of the sunbed mattresses. Overall, we are happy that we chose this resort. If we would come back, we would pick the same location.

    A 5* hotel with 10* experience. The hotel has everything you could ask for and more. Not sure where to start from. Service was exceptional. The friendliest staff ever! Always there to help which makes your holiday A DREAM. (especially morning receptionist Abderrahman) 1. Rooms were so comfortable. Cleaned every day and even decorated with flowers on the sheets(as seen in the picture) Very beautiful and thoughtful 2. Again, staff members are amazing. Can’t praise them enough for the friendly service and big heart, always with a smile on 3. The restrooms near the reception area were always clean even though guests were using them all the time 4. The wifi connection is bad but not a downside for me as it makes the holiday a peace of mind 5. The white sand beach was perfect! Almost full but unbelievably quiet which was so relaxing 6. Went for all inclusive and the food and drinks were top notch. Delicious variety of everything. They even made a special pizza for me due to my dairy intolerance. Restaurant service amazing, (Houssem&Anwar). Attentive, won’t let your glass empty. Always refilling it, very professional. 7. Even the beach security would chat you up and tell you about the country in general and what’s worth visiting. Friendly friendly!! We were made to feel at home and thats the most important thing, a huge thank you to the special team💙

    Fantastic place to stay for a few days. I fully enjoyed it with my wife and kids. Friendly staff. The food is amazing. There’s plenty of fresh food varsities for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is clean and relaxing. The beach is fabulous with many other sea water activities.

    We stayed at the hotel for 8 days and we have nothing but praises! The staff is super friendly, they met every request we had, the entertainment is amazing, rooms are clean, the pool is amazing! We would kindly recommend the all inclusive package. And remember to tip!

    Stayed 1 week at Barcelo, booked a room with side sea view with additional cost but had no wifi in the room. Such a shame for a 5* hotel. Stinky corridors, same food, same animation each night. Got an ear infection which had never happened to me before and had to go to the doctor when we returned to my country.

    It is a shame that this is calles a hotel: 1-Rooms are dirty (cokroaches ++) 2-There is no food (Breakfast is only a coffee and lunch is always spaghetti without anything - no fish/ no meat / not even chicken sometimes). 3- Waiters are greedy (they ask actively for tips for pouring you some coca cola from an already opened bottle). 4- Reception is very hot, No cooling. Great experience for a horror house, bad experience for a hotel. It only misses ghosts although it's also very noisy at night.

    Where do I start... No info given on hotel just some times written on key card cover which were all wrong. No towel cards given so had another trip back to reception. You will be lucky to get a bed around pool even at 7am all reserved.... All the smaller outside tables at lunch and dinner reserved so no choice but to sit inside quite far away from food .. definitely a money talks hotel..appears daily tips for everyone to get anywhere... Apart from the bars..staff were amazing and lovely and clearly being over worked. Food cold no matter what time you went in unless you were lucky enough to hit it and right time when fresh things been cooked. 3 days running we had no lunch as could not get a table.. We were told only 1 speciality restaurant opened which we were just told full in a very abrupt manner by head guy in reception... Pool needs maintenance.. saw few peoples feet go hrough drainage part around side of pool which were then left broken.. tiles missing around pool and sunken beds. We paid for sea view but was mainly a view of a golf course with sea in the distance which you could not see until sat in balcony.. I'd say majority of rooms had side sea view so a bit of a con.. No bath robes or tea/coffee making facilities in room as advertised Dead cockroach and thousands of ants in room..4 trips to reception (had no idea how to dial down as no info) and constant lies and rudeness from the reception staff saying they had been up and knocked on door but weren't there when we were up waiting til after 1am... Treated my elderly mum so appallingly on more than one occasion.. Thankfully the weather was amazing and the staff on the beach and bar staff (particularly the man that was running round on his own doing waiter service at lobby bar) were brilliant Would never recommend or return to this hotel and I am very well travelled

    Lobby and corridors ⭐️ no A/C therefore HOT & HUMID Breakfast ⭐️ very poor, cheap local products, no choices, no variety, mainly local brands Lunch ⭐️⭐️ the whole week repetitive items, poor quality ingridients Dinner ⭐️⭐️ repetitive items, poor quality ingridients, food not labled with tags showing what is what, so what's in that stew?! Theme restaurants ⭐️ zero, no sushi, no teppanyaki, no national cuisine restaurant, nothing Drinks ⭐️ third class alcohol, only one poor local beer, poor local whine... sodas mainly local, only here and there, major brands i.e. CocaCola etc. Snacks ⭐️ zero. No snacks on the beach or in the pool area between the meals Entertainment ⭐️ no info on what where and when is happening, and almost nothing is happening Pool ⭐️⭐️⭐️ spacious but needs cleaning on the bottom, mini tiles comming off loose all around Beach ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ sandy with planty of sun shade umbrellas and sun beds, be aware of jellyfish sting Rooms ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ spacious with nice bathrooms, balconies, lot of cupboard/storage space. Main bad good quality, folding bed poor quality Room service ⭐️⭐️ cleaning and bed making is fine, but zero room service, no coffe or tea supplys, ask the room service for tea bags, go to reception, ask on reception check with the room service on the floor ping-pong game but no sign of coffee or tea bags Reception ⭐️⭐️ mainly rude behaviour, they argue with guests, telling lies and not issuing second room key card with 4 ocupants in double room appartment, telling lies about internet in the room, previous huest poured whiskey over the router, and the router is above the cealing etc, rear exceptions but down to a person not down to following hotel management rules and policies Hotel management ⭐️ very very very poor In general, if this is Tunisian five star hotel, o e of the best, then it is a shqme that well managed two or three star hotel can easily beat these standards... For sure, for my family this was my first and very last time in Tunisia as a tourists...

    Rooms are clean and modern. Receptionists are very kind and helpful. Restaurant is great, there is large selection of food. Unfortunately the pool is very crowded so we had no chance to get a spot any of the days, you need to wake up very early for that. The beach is very nice and clean. It can happen that its a bit messy after a heavy rain but nothing serious. We also found some small jellyfishs but not that much. As a european be prepared with some pills for your stomach because things can get messy if you pick the wrong food or just pick something that was cleaned with tap water. Also try to avoid ice cubes in drinks.

    Nicely located with private beach and short walk from port. Hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Food for all three meals were varied and tasty. Staff were nice and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my 4 day stay.

    Fraud! Arnaque! Scam! Stay away from this place! Extremely dirty! No AC when it’s 50 degrees outside! The room was dirty, had no AC and had only two kid beds next to each other, and no view at all! I asked for a sea view room with a king bed! When I asked for the room I booked, they said it’s impossible! They told me they will refund me for the whole stay but in order to get the refund they charged me for an extra night! So I paid the whole stay and 1 extra night while I didn’t stay there at all! Avoid at all cost! Worst experience ever! I wish I could rate 0 stars!

    Good location, service over all very good. Had a couple problems, room could not change the A/C thermostat, was set @ 25C after 3 days sweating the maintenance changed it to 22C then we almost froze. We still could not change the temperature. We requested a second door key and they would not give us one, said they did not have enough. Told us to come the desk and they would take us to our room if we are separated. No internet in most of the facilities, only around the front desk. The food was very good, just could not get coffee cups. Waiters worked excellent just not enough to service the amount of people in eating. We would return if given the opportunity.

    Overall stay experience is so bad, not even 3-star hotel. Overpriced for 40%. 1. Cleanliness, dirty rooms, dirty public areas, no one taking care of cleanliness. 2. F&B, dirty plates glasses, and tables in the main restaurant, the service level is very low, no food variations, every day the same menu is provided, Coffee is very bad, and breakfast is poor. 3. Pool, pool is in very bad condition, there is no regular cleaning, and all spaces are occupied from the morning, towels(which require an additional deposit) are battered and not always available. 4.Public areas don't have air conditioning, there are impossible to seat in the lobby for even 10 minutes, Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby. 5. Front Desk, Very responsive, promptly rejecting all requests. 6. Communication, only a couple of employees are able to communicate in English. 7. Entertainment is the same every day, it is very noisy until late. Worst hotel I've ever been.

    Terrible experience on arrival in reception - There's 5 guys but only one doing check-in. They don't accept credit cards only cash. Guys in bars constantly asking for how many person I'm getting drinks because I order 4 beers, seriously why do they care? Even if it's for me I paid for all inclusive (note we were 6 adults), but after a while it was annoying. The food was avarage. Only good thing was the maids and rooms. Anyway it's big hotel so expect a lot of people.

    Hotel not worthy of 5 stars First: Upon my arrival, they forced us to wait for an hour and a half to take the rooms until 15:30 Second: the Wi-Fi is very bad in the rooms Third: I left the beach towel on the pool at night, and in the morning I find it I stole, then I complained to the receptionist. He told me that it is out of our scope of service. Is this normal

    What an excellent hotel👍. We on a family holiday of 7 found this place one of the best we have stayed at. Fun and laughter with all the staff at every moment. Never laughed and enjoyed ourselves so much. The food served was at an extremely high level and clearly all staff and chefs and so on take great pride in their work. Every person we met had nothing negative to say about this hotel or their staff. A massive mention to Momo who is by far one of the most genuine guys I personally, have met in all my life absolutely nothing was to much trouble. We would be happy to return here and visit our new friends again and again. If only Hey 👍 one thing to mention is my youngest was 14 yo but going on 20 so I would say it's more for a older generation who want to just chill and relax. We were also low season so I'm guessing there would be many more restaurants and and events going on as the season progresses.

    This is not a 5 star experience. The rooms are good and the pool and bar areas are OK but the restaurants let this hotel down. Only 1 restaurant at lunch supposed to open at 12 but never open until 12.30. 1 set of cutlery provided for 3 courses so hold onto them. If you want salt and pepper only about 1 in 20 tables have it. Food Is OK but some of the waiters are quite lazy while others work really hard. Although the hotel is OK on the whole I would not return as this is no where near a 5 star experience.

    I had the worst experience with my family during the weekend of 18march till 20th March , the hotel was full and we could barely have food because of the long waiting queue . Extremely disappointing , iam leaving DUBAI and wanted to have nice vacation this spring in Tunisia but I will never come back

    Customer service is on point. Quality food on a large variety. Rooms are super clean. Not much of activities during the day or the night, but I wasn't expecting much from a 5-star hotel. Been there for 3 years in a row, and each year I was happier than the other.

    Located on the beach front this hotel was amazing. Quite a large hotel with the biggest pool I have ever experienced. Whilst I visited the hotel it was not in full summer mode, so all the ala carte restaurants were not open, only one was, and neither was the swim up bar, it also meant that the air conditioning in the rooms was not tuned on, the plus side I believe the hotel wasn't even 1/2 full which meant that the staff were able to be more attentive and give a more personal service. Room was quite large, with a balcony that over looked the golf course next door, with views up the coast as well. bathroom was substantial with bath shower and double sinks, toilet and bidet. Safe in the room came as standard as did the Wifi throughout the hotel, although signal was hit and miss at times. Mini Fridge came stocked with water and a few soft drinks which were replenished only once during stay (normal). Food, was usual all inclusive buffet style, with fresh pizzas made lunch and dinner, always some local dishes to try , waiter staff were very attentive and helpful, bottles (yes bottles) of wine, coke and water available at the table. Entertainment team were very enthusiastic, aqua gym, darts, football etc. Spa and indoor pool, hairdresser and shop here also, however we did not use these facilities. Beach was amazing, so was the sea, dont expect to see much marine life here though. Beach towel service was free with card exchange, change as often as you like. Merchants walk up and down beach selling items but dont approach you on sun loungers etc as staff ensure this doesnt happen. Tipping whilst not compulsory is appreciated by the staff. TAX- there is a hotel tax that has to be paid on arrival, 42 TD for us for the week, has to be pain upon arrival, they will exchange money at the hotel. Suggest you get a receipt as when I went to check out they attempted to charge me the tax again, now this may have been an oversight on this occasion, it was 'waived' after a discussion, but advise to get a receipt, to avoid any possible confusion. Whilst there is wheel chair access is is limited.

    We were at this hotel for a week.The cleaning ladies did a wonderful job as did the guys at the front gate.Can't say the same about the bellboy who was on duty on 11/18/22 in the morning.Extremely arrogant,begging for a tip.The food which is included in the all inclusive is TRAGIC, as well as the drinks at the bar are of the same low quality. The coffee... the coffee they offer in this hotel is complete filth. we had to go to the center every morning to get it from the local bar, that like the dyed water they offered us was not drinkable at all. In conclusion, I can say that for the price we paid, there are much better places where you can spend your money 😉

    ⭕️ They made us wait 3 hours in the reception and they finally gave me a room with a garden view even tho i paid for a sea view . ⭕️ Dirty reception and no air conditioning , people are dying from the heat . ⭕️ Boring animation + racist animators . ⭕️ No lights in the bathroom . ⭕️ Repeatable meals especially in the breakfast . ⭕️ pool needs some cleaning .

    everything was perfect, service, cleanliness, the room is big and modern. The complaints are very weak wifi, it is only in the lobby and in the rooms, but the connection is very weak. Another complaint is that the entire hotel is not covered by air conditioning. but it didn't affect our vacation, the service is excellent food as well as the animations and activities during the day.
