Love this place. Nostalgia at it's best. From an Old Coca Cola collection, vintage toys to vintage porcelain sets, WWII memorabilia, vintage crockery, old tins collection, vintage clothing you name it, they've got it. Take your time to appreciate their great selection.

You could spend hours here and not get bored. There's just so much to see. Really cool high quality vintage items. Vintage books and tea sets to World War medals and Stetson hats.

What a lovely visit. They have anything and everything you can think off. Any antique item from military items to dinner sets to film 🎥 to old collectable matchbox cars and dinky toy.

This was a RARE find. FAB place has its own little cinema inside , showing old movies..FABULOUS. !!! We saw HIGH SOCIETY with Grace Kelley and Bing Crosby. They show different movies every week, plus they have a great vintage clothes section upstairs ,plus it is an antique shop, selling bone China tea sets and dinner services and cut glass items. Really enjoyed wandering around. A definite !!

What a gem. Take your time strolling through the isles inside to find unique antiques and other memorabilia. From Dinky toys to Coca Cola collection items. They also have a few military and rugby items outside. My favorite part was the cinema inside. Be sure to phone ahead to confirm their show times.

I loved this place! Definitely a trip down memory lane. Lots of stuff to discover. Beautiful crockery. Watch the movie "My favourite Brunette", had popcorn and a good laugh with the rest of the movie goers. My favourite shop in Hermanus.

A must visit antique store in Hermanus. If only we had longer to linger. Reasonable prices and exciting to explore. Not only does Romantique evoke strong feelings of nostalgia with their antiques, they also boast a stunningly old fashioned cinema. Check their socials for what's playing. If you're lucky you get to meet the proprietor who us incredibly knowledgeable about history. Romantiques is just off the centre of town, a walkable distance from Dave's bookshop and Black medicine coffee shop.

An absolute must visit when in Hermanus, quaint hideaway which even has a movie theatre with classic black and white, and a stunning military section. Make a turn, you will not regret it.

Amazing place with alot of options and antiques. Very nice owner and so welcoming. Great experience. She even stayed with us until we decided what to buy even when the place closed

Super friendly staff, great retro cafe/bar, reasonable pricing for their antiques considering how many rare items there are. The cinema seems to only be open on Saturdays due to covid which is a shame, however group bookings for private viewings are available which is awesome. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area....

This is like walking into history. Very well organized into categories of toys, hobbies, kitchen, fine china, music, tools etc. An experience everyone should have and buy something to take home.
